I had the pleasure of working with Adam McCormick these past few weeks on a refinance. I had been dreading the process due to a poor past experience. This was not the case while working with Mr. McCormick. He immediately made me feel at ease explaining every step along the way, and what information I needed to gather. There were a few issues that came up along the way that were out of his control and wasn't anything that was directly related to anything he had done. Such instance was related to emails being sent from me, but were not going into his inbox. He dealt with this in a professional manner, and once he tracked down the problem, he thoroughly explained to me what was happening, and quickly resolved the issue. I can see how this can be very frustrating, but he was patient during his efforts to find out what was going on. I never felt like I was being left out of what was happening during this whole refinance process. He checked in with me very often, and kept me informed of where things were at. This was very comforting as I felt I wasn't going through this alone, and had a personal guide to help me along the way. My overall experience working with Adam was outstanding, and I am going to reccomended him to my friends and family.

The representative that I worked with--Katerina Goga--was nothing short of fantastic. First, Ms. Goga was very knowledgeable and professional at every step of the process; and, even more impressive, was Ms. Goga's attention to detail, follow-up at every step of the process, and incredibly prompt response to any question I had or issue that needed to be looked into. Literally, in the 25+ years of taking out first mortgages and refinancing mortgages, Ms. Goga's work on my behalf was the best professional service I have received.

I had a wonderful and easy experience refinancing my loan to FHA streamline. Jeremy was very attentive and helpful when needed. I will be using Better Lending and Jeremy if I refinance again. Highly recommended!

I worked with Adam McCormick last year for a refinance of my home. I was impressed with his knowledge, his ability to explain principles, his patience with my questions and his overall helpfulness. He made my refinance as pain free as possible and he has gained my respect and confidence implicitly. He left the door open after we closed on the loan and told me that I could call him anytime with questions and he would help me anyway that he could. I took him up on that offer today when I called and asked whether it would be in my best interest to refinance again. He once again provided valuable and honest advice which I greatly appreciated. Wow, I've done a lot of refi's over the years but thanks to Carter Thomas, none have ever been so seamless! We had received multiple offers in the mail to refi and after countless phone calls and exchanges of information, we settled on Better Lending. Their rates and closing costs were very competitive, but what sold us was Carter. I asked a thousand questions and made him go over the particulars of their offer multiple times to ensure there wasn't some hidden or unexplained cost. Because he was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable, we decided to go with Better Lending, even though our own well-known bank offered to match Better Lending's offer. The first agent that took my call started the lending process and then just disappeared. I thought I had used a fraudulent company! I called the customer service number and got Lindsay. She took our file over and started to get everything back on track. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the process took too long and right when I thought we were going to sign, there was a change and we were told we were going to have to do a first and second on our house. Lindsay saved the day again and she was able to get our refinance back to the original agreement. Lindsay was always available and although things got rocky at the end, she stayed in touch and followed through on her commitments.

The entire team from Larry, Redi and Varun are very helpful and responsive.
What I appreciate the most is the fact that the team is always fair and there are no surprises. They deliver on their commitment and always try to do whats best for the client.
