I had my first acupuncture experience at Be Well Acupuncture in Edmond, and it was honestly an awesome experience from start to finish. I went in for some lower back pain and muscle tightness and was a little nervous because I have a big fear of needles, but the entire staff made me feel completely comfortable.
Searra at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming right away, and Kiara helped get me settled into the room and made the whole process easy and relaxed. Toni, the practitioner, was incredible. She explained everything she was doing and answered all my questions, which helped calm my nerves a lot.
What really stood out to me was how gentle Toni was during the treatment. I was expecting it to be uncomfortable, but I honestly barely felt the needles at all. She has a very soft touch and kept me distracted with conversation so I could relax. The environment was also extremely clean, calm, and relaxing â lights dimmed, music playing â to the point where I actually fell asleep during the session.
The whole process was smooth and quick, and I definitely noticed relief in my back afterward. I was so happy with the experience that I already scheduled my next appointment.
