Beyond The Bar レビュー 

Having enjoyed another Kdrama featuring a quirky, but talented lawyer (Attorney Woo), I thought this would live up to its entertainment value as the latest in lawyer related Kdramas.

But you will be in for a disappointment when it comes up completely short with frustrating pacing, predictable and unsubtly rage bait plot lines and a lead character who is "supposed to be" some kind of genius lawyer but is objectively untalented and mediocre who becomes utterly stupid at times for the plot. Save yourself the frustration on this awful show.

We visited Bar 83 at Sydney Tower hoping to enjoy a quiet drink to mark the end of a month-long stay in Australia following the rugby. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations.

Upon arrival, we were asked by the host if we were celebrating anything. We explained we were simply looking for a peaceful drink to round off our trip. Despite that, we were seated next to a large, noisy group and another smaller group who were clearly making the most of happy hour — and had been for some time. The atmosphere felt more like a busy pub than an exclusive sky bar.

The poor weather meant the views were obscured, but we accepted that risk when booking. What was harder to accept was the lack of attentiveness to the type of experience we were hoping for. It quickly became apparent that the staff were struggling — particularly when our waiter attempted to open our bottle of rosé with a corkscrew, only to realise (after some confusion and help from the bar manager) that it was a screw cap.

It felt like a case of the blind leading the blind. The host’s decision to seat a couple seeking a quiet drink next to an excitable group of eight enjoying cheap drinks showed a real lack of judgment or awareness of the environment they’re trying to curate.

We left early and unfinished. I politely suggested to the host that they consider more thoughtful seating arrangements in future, but he had no response beyond staring at his shoes.

I’m sure others have had a lovely time here, and I wish we had too — but sadly, this wasn’t the experience we hoped for.

Beyond The Bar provided a fantastic event experience with their unique approach and engaging hosts. The relaxed and fun atmosphere was perfect for team building, creating a memorable end to the work week. Though gathering ingredients was tricky for some, the delicious cocktails and interactive activities made up for it. The hosts, like Dani and Finch, added a humorous and personal touch, making everyone feel included and celebrated. A great option for virtual corporate events, Beyond The Bar certainly knows how to get everyone involved and enjoying themselves.

Quiet surroundings, special staff approach to guests, comfortable, relaxed and very tasty.

Our host was wonderful! She was full of personality and kept the party going with her energy and smiles. The games were really fun and we enjoyed making the drinks-nice to have a mocktail options for many nondrinkers. Cheers!

Dani, thanks so much for providing me and the team a great experience. We had not done a team building experience quite like this before and you made it a blast.

We gave this experience as a Christmas gift to family members and had a great time! Dani was entertaining and the cocktails were delicious. We have done several classes with Beyond The Bar and love it!

Our team had a lot of fun for our offsite work event. Dani kept everyone engaged with fun facts and games and the drinks were delicious. Definitely would recommend to others.

Finch was a great host! Very knowledgable and friendly. My team and I had so much fun making cocktails and learning about their origin. 2 out of the 3 recipes I will definitely be making again as they were DELICIOUS. The creamy one wasn't my cup of tea but it was still enjoyable to learn how to make. 10/10 recommended this class to anyone who's looking for a fun night in :)

Dani made our teams remote cocktail night so much fun! She had us all participating and made it fun and not feel like a chore. The games were very engaging and the cocktails we made were superb! The accommodation for non-alcohol drinkers was such a great touch. I would highly recommend! Thanks, Anthony

So much fun!!! This was my second time booking/participating in a corporate event with Beyond the Bar. It was such a fun bonding experience for many of us that have neevr even met in person - getting a little tipsy definitely helped. The staff was absolutely amazing, super fun and engaging. The games were hilarious - really such a great experience overall. Thank you so much BTB crew - we look forward to booking you for more events in the future!
