Worst Customer Service and delay in delivery with partially order fulfilment
Hi Team,
This is my last official email due to lack of communication within your own team of operation or warehouse or between delivery agent and packaging department. I have all the proof where in most of the orders either you took returned the product or else denied to delivery at last moment.
You always regret what you're doing with false information and advertisement that you have the product. But in the end of the ast moment the scenario changed.
With an example of one of the cases where the delivery man came on its electric scooty having a total of three bags of my ordered items and rest one of others. He didn't has any option to take one another order or big 50 or more than 50 littre bucket. As a result he said sir the bucket was not provided and it's out of stock the supervisor said the same over the call.
Hence, returned complete order. I contacted one of your agent and she said the order can not deliver with this order and I can place another order if I can see on a page. She also said she can not write anything back to me in written over an email because she has not assign any email id nor her department has any.
I tried to contact with her supervisor and now scenario changed he said the product is out of stock. I said I can order but he said it's out of stock (OOS). Hence, to proove I placed an order and he surprised. Now he confirmed from warehouse and said it's OOS. Within the call the price of this specific product got hiked upto 1400+. I share this scenario to him and with his backend ir technical team or else on its own he reverse the amount of this product to the last price at what I ordered.
Surprisingly he is not accepting that price was changed by the team and hence I started a chat and shared screenshot with no success because he didn't want to accept. So, I ended up with this guy as well and hanged up the call.
Now, due to their internally escalation and my order amount was in their custody. They get back to me and called with two different lady/girl and one person and try to understand the same complete scenario again and again with no success. All are providing generic responses and explanations.
From the time this first incident was happened to me I placed many orders of the same product and mobile app, my laptop/pc allowing me to place an order without any hurdle. This order will get rejected during the last hours of its packaging after seeing my name and account. Still available but all agents saying the item is OOS or has technical issues.
If you're right then you should inform this on any of the following: social media, newspaper, Television, at your app, at your websites or any other where customer usually visit because whenever it's call of customer to return, escalation, payment, refund, Complaint etc you use your own made policies to protect yourself. So where is customer's rights. Can you confirm if the customer has free time, money, mind, energy, person, asset to waste on you and for your policies and business and negligence?
What's the customer's fault when he paid always in advance and try not escalate the cases, take minor damage, burst, open package after paying full amount with close mount. Should the customer run round and round due to your negligence and bad habits? Is this kind of customer's service and support you provide to your customers to run your business or else your business is at now top notch and no one is competitor against you inside the market to provide more customer centric service?
The great thing is if customer faced such obstacles due to your business operation and management fauilure he can't cancel with proper resons because he has no option to select instead to cancel the order showing that customer wants to cancel his order on his own choice without any issues. Secondly, you don't have 1800... or 1860... free call. He has to spend his own hard earned money to cry in front of you over a call to explain all the things from scratch and without any success. Because you always says next time this will not happen but actually due to practice you have it happens.
Customer use online or e-commerce business due to lesser time availability and his own ease but with such frequent breakdowns and repeatedly hurting scenario really harass the customer and insult him or her.

OVERALL WORST SERVICE
If by chance they don’t get connected in 1 or 2 calls over the phone with customers , they just cancel the order immediately and scheduled next they. After calling their customer support team also they don’t assist only gives filthy excuses. Absolutely worst services overall and also their after sales support is very pathetic. It determined me not to purchase anything in future from big-basket again or will never recommend or suggest anyone.

Horrible customer care.. i have had no help from them. They said to send email to get OTP but it never works I have lost my login and kept asking for help but the helpline got me frustrated and unsatisfied to the core. Thanks a million
Expired /Stale products being delivered
Since some time , Big Basket is delivering Expired products and we can’t trust to place an order when away from Home.
This has become a trend and seems like it’s being done intentionally , assuming that Customers will rarely check for expiry dates and they want to get rid of stale products
One of the worst customer service
I had put order on 14th may 2024 and it was supposed to get delivered by 15th may 2024 from 7am to 10:30 pm. After 10:30, I tried to check status via chat but it sent to their automatic chatbot I suppose which told me that I will get order by end of day. It then handover to agent on me asking for it. First agent told me that I will get callback after 30 minutes. I didn't receive any call, so I tried to chat again after 30 minutes and again passed through chatbot to second agent who told that I will get order after some delay. At same time I tried voice call, where third agent told me same thing that I will get call after 30 minutes. I told above story to him and asked what compensation I will receive if I do not receive my order or do not receive call. I also asked him to reschedule the delivery to which he was giving me 17th may date. I asked him if i will not get call or order rhen i can go to sleep but he gauranteed that I will get call,which I didn't get. And when I called them again after 30 mintes I was told that call center timing is 6 am to 11:55pm. Will see again in morning and I am sure again they will tell 30 minute story.

Pathetic Customer service and return/refund policy. I have ordered fruits and vegetables from BB on 13th April 2024. The apples I received is all are rotton and worms inside. I raised the concern immediately with their app customer support. In first step there is no option for uploading photos of product. Directly they ask for return slot page. I got the return slot on 19th April 2024. So perishable items are we have to keep almost week and wait for pick up.. What kind of service BB are providing? Just becoz of TATA we shifted to BB. But seems it's bad decision. Pls don't install the app or buy from Big basket.

My orders don’t get delivered on time
My orders don’t get delivered in the delivery slot booked by me and get cancelled by them without informing me. They lie blatantly and give frivolous excuses like not allowed inside by security and my number was not reachable which are both shear lies. On raising the issue with customer care only shallow promises are made and no action is taken to resolve the issues. This is not a one time experience. I have gone through this hassle multiple times over the last two years. Pathetic level of services and heights of unprofessionalism! They should just shut shop as they don’t value their customer’s time.

We ordered some products and after 2 days from order they canceled without any information. When we contacted to customer care four times and they are also not supportive and didn't not respond. They said our senior team will contact you but we never received call from their side.
Worst quality products and customer service from big basket
Service and quality have degraded over a period, now it's worst at it's peak. I ordered fruits and veggies from attapur big basket, anyone and everyone can be a delivery executive without proper background verification..this is the scary part. The person was so unprofessional and on top if it worst quality products. I have got rotten fruits and to return them I had to reach to customer support more than 3 times. No one even bothered.

It is hard to believe it is TATA Enterprise looking at the customer service. They care a damn for their commitments when I raise a,query / complaint on the product delivered. They only give false promises that the mistake would not repeat again. I have been complaining about wrong delivery of a product for which I have subscribed and delivered alternate days. For the laat 3 deliveries I am receding a wrong product and inspite of complaining on every delivery, they still are repeating the mistake. Unless the top management takes serious note of this BB will never improve.
Outrageous cheating
In every order, you will be charged extra from the "charges for weight change" in the previous order and they will increase the price of the product from the time of order to the time of delivery without customers knowledge or consent. I have been proud of Tata enterprises but now I doubt my own common sense and can't believe that this could be Tata policy in which case my country on the whole could be a fool!!!!? Then the problem is bigger than the 22.75 rupees extra for the increase of few grams of produce that they changed me! In smaller context; they are cheating the customer by increasing prices from the time of order to the time of delivery by their own wish on the pre-paid orders without customers consent and outright cheating them.

if there is an option to give the rating below 1 star definitely i will give that one. one of the worst services provided, none of the customer representative properly respond,without delivery they deducted the amount and then every morning we have to beg that please sent us back our deducted money.

I have ordered certain groceries and other items to my mother's place who is old and cannot walk much. Order was not delivered after 4 days of delivery date. Worst customer service
Worst customer service. Tried to place an order on June 17th. After applying the voucher and entering card information during payment phase, the place order button did not activate. Since then have dealt with various customer service reps (BTW the toll free call is not toll free) over phone and via email. The tech team member acknowledged that the card was legit for the coupon, but til date no resolution despite promises of getting back. Now they have even stopped responding to emails. Do not recommend this store.
