I recently celebrated my 40th Birthday at Stuckgowan house, Loch Lomond and have to say the venue was perfect for the occasion!
We were a group of 17, (10 adults and 7 children) and the house was perfect for these numbers.
The children had a fabulous time exploring the grounds, relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying movie evenings in the cinema room allowing the adults to relax and enjoy the beautiful house and surrounding scenery.
I would highly recommend this property to others considering a relaxing retreat.

Magnificent setting, lovely quirky house, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, cosy, well equipped kitchen - though a few extra forks would be useful

My friends and I had such a wonderful weekend staying at Rippon Hall for my 40th birthday. The house made the whole occasion extra special and we all went away with magical memories.

From the moment we were met and greeted by Clarke, we were made to feel welcome as guests in this magnificent house.

I booked Kingswell House through Big House Experience for a weekend away with 11 friends, and it didn’t disappoint. The property and grounds are stunning. We were met by the owner, John, who showed us round, explained everything, was very helpful and was on hand if we needed anything. The welcome basket was amazing with locally sourced products, including gin, pork pie, bread, cake, to name a few. The furnishings were beautiful, lots of thoughtful additions. The kitchen was superbly equipped with a lot of additional crockery etc. We stayed for 3 nights and did not feel the need to leave the property/grounds, making use of all the facilities, hot tub, outside games, pool table, table tennis, cinema, board games, tennis court etc. Big House Experience description of the property was spot on and they were efficient with the booking and supplied a lot of information about the area. We also received our damage deposit back within 3 days of being home. This property is so nice and we had such a lovely time we have rebooked for next year and a longer stay.

The house was lovely, very clean and exceeded our expectations. Decor was very tasteful and everything was in excellent condition. Pool was also very nice along with the whole spa area. Grounds were in very good order. We had a great family anniversary and would return. Nice people to deal with. Great stay.

The website was really easy to navigate and we found the perfect venue for our celebration! Everything that was described and featured about the property was an exact representation of what we experienced! The communication from beginning to end was excellent and our deposit was returned immediately we got back once the housekeeping team had verified that all was in order! I’d definitely use Big House Experience again and can highly recommend.

We stayed at Bay View House near Tenby. Fantastic location & great house. Very straightforward booking and all queries dealt with promptly. We had a lovely stay despite the awful weather!

Great communication, stunning house and fantastic range of amenities. Perfect for a large party of guests and excellently located for Exeter city centre. Lots to do for all age ranges, would thoroughly recommend.

Rippon Hall. Where do I start. We had the most amazing stay,the house exceeded all our expectations. The facilities cater for all generation's.
We were blessed with the weather and made full use of the pool and games provided, pool was heated to 28 degrees and hot tub like a bath.
The games room was great for the children and adults also made good use of it.
The traditional game of hide and seek will never be the same.
So many family memories made.
The booking process was very straightforward. Will definitely be using Big House Experience again.

A great experience from beginning to end! We stayed at the stunning Madoc Manor for my dad’s 80th birthday. A mixture of ages, but this house was perfect. Everything was very well organised, from the point of booking onwards. Will definitely recommend your website and will be using again myself.

Our booking at Mead county house was fantastic. The house was an amazing space with everything we needed and felt recently refurbished to a high standard. Could not recommend it more highly.

This was the only size house that could accommodate our group of 20 friends for a college reunion. Everything about the house experience was wonderful from start to finish. The communication was clear and efficient, the house was amazing, the facilities fabulous and the location wonderful. It was reasonably priced between all of us and would highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Longslade Hall to celebrate our Dad’s 60th birthday, and honestly, it was incredible!

We managed to get the whole family together under one roof for a full-on “Mob Party” (yes, everyone dressed as gangsters and mob wives… even the kids!).

The house itself was stunning, beautifully designed, with the perfect layout for a big family gathering. The garden was ideal for relaxing, and the pool and sauna were a massive hit all weekend.

The hosts were fantastic. We messaged them a couple of times on WhatsApp for small things and they replied instantly. Genuinely better service than most hotels!

If you’re looking for a sign to book that special weekend away, this is it. Big House Experience made it possible for us to create memories we’ll cherish forever. When life gets busy with work and everything else, time like this with family is priceless.

Friendly, efficient, responsive, trustworthy - Big House Experience was great to work with and I'd certainly recommend them for anyone looking to rent a large property. Excellent choice of venues throughout the UK

This is a magical property in a beautiful setting and wonderful for large parties . The customer service was excellent from start to finish,every step was clearly explained and delivered on time . The housekeeper was lovely, extremely helpful and courteous and responded very quickly to our questions. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the rooms are described as ensuite and some are not, the bathrooms are next door and one room has quite a distance to walk. Not having blinds or curtains in most downstairs rooms leaves a cold feeling in the autumn . However, with the big log fires it soon becomes cosy in the sitting rooms and dining room. Our group will certainly be returning next year. Very good value for money.

The most amazing house and facilities. Beautifully decorated with attentive to detail . All the rooms were beautiful. The kitchen and dining area was very large , plenty of space for accommodating 20 guests.
The kitchen was just perfect, well equipped with everything you need.

We stayed at Cedar Tree Manir to celebrate a 50th birthday and from start to finish it was superb. The attentive service from the Big House Experience team making everything very easy to the owners of the house who were simply terrific.
Highly recommend this experience to really make great memories

Mostly we loved the house we rented. The Sea Star. It had everything you could ask for and more. Beautifully decorated it was a lovely space to spend time in too. We used it all, the fire pit, hot tub, cinema room, pool table. Plus swims in the sea and walks along the coast. What's not to like!
