I always wanted to get into skateboarding when I was younger but I never got on well with the cheap skateboards that a lot of big retailers sell. Now that I'm an adult I decided to take the plunge and finally buy a proper skateboard, and I couldn't have chose a better place to do so. Using the handy online user guide I was able to find a solid quality complete and collect it in store the same day. Once I got to the store I talked to the staff for a bit and got some advice on size - I had originally ordered a 7.75" board but because my feet are a bit on the larger side they recommended getting an 8 inch board which I did.

They also have a wide selection of skate tools for adjusting on the fly, and I got one of those at a reasonable price so I don't have to carry a spanner everywhere with me.

The board is fantastic and rolls really well, I'm impressed with it and I'll definitely be buying some parts from Black Sheep and building my own when it's time to get a new one. If you are thinking of buying a really cheap board from one of the big retailers don't do it! Go to Black Sheep and ask get a complete. They have a massive range of complete boards and if you are feeling up for it you can even get the parts to assemble your own.

If I'm honest I was just looking for one product in a google search and these guys had it the cheapest. Having looked over their site though I'll happily keep getting their newsletters as the speed of service was great and the content looks right up my street.

The product that I ordered got to me so fast, ordered it on a Friday and got it the Monday, the product itself a jart skateboard had no scratches or indentations :)

Staff amazing, great communication, dealt really well with my issue. Rubbish delivery company, checked tracking number and no relevant information, couldn't get in touch with anyone at the delivery company as closed early on Saturdays !!
