I ordered a jacket, received it and it was far too small. I emailed twice and left two messages but no contact about returning jacket. I sent original email 5 days ago. No one answers the 800 number in either sales or customer service. I am beginning to wonder if I got scammed by a sketchy web site.

these used to be my favorite work pants, but the latest pair has not met my expectations.
The zipper fly blew apart after less than a year, and Blaklader refused to warranty it, as their warranty "only covers seams."

Bought the x1900 4way stretch. First day first seam breaks. Second day second seam breaks.
Would've expected a stronger response from them because of the "lifetime warranty", but nah.
I guess return customers are not their focus group

The ripstop paints are fantastic! My issue lies with the ripstop shorts. For some unknown reason the company decided to remove the right hand side of extra pockets. Customer service says that the company has added it back to the new version, that has not been released yet. But I’ve been waiting a year and still they say the same thing. I live in Florida it is 87’F 30’C today. What is the hold up???

I ordered and received a pair of BlakLader #1690 Work pants. I liked them so much I ordered another pair of the same style same size, only in a different color. They didn’t fit. Pants were mismarked or mis-sized. Had to take them to a tailor for alteration. Would have liked to give a
higher rating.

I would highly recommend reading this review of X1600 pants. Although they are exceptionally well-made pants, they suffer from a couple of very important design flaws. First, they kneepads are only functional on flat surfaces as the loading of the foam pads comes from the bottom, thereby allowing the pads to ride up your leg if you are on anything that has a slope. You will find your knees on the hard surface and the pads on your upper thighs. Snickers pants load from the top which is much more user- friendly and practical. I thought this problem was so obviously bad that I wanted to return the pants, but after I cut off that useless large Velcro pouch on the side of the left leg, I figured the warranty was void. Craftsmanship is A+, but engineering suffers from either techno geekery or following bad examples (i.e. Carhartt loads knee pads from the bottom). I hope they fix this problem before I need a new pair of pants.

As a construction engineer, I rely on my clothes to keep me safe and comfortable so I can focus on the task at hand. Blaklader heavy duty work pants haven’t let me down. You wear out before they do.

Amazing top of the line material and product

Rugged work pants. I found a stack of demonstration Blaklader brawny (1630) working trousers at my local hardware store and they lasted me for 15 years. Sown-in knee pads never tore, even when the 12 oz. cotton backing got threadbare. Pockets for every purpose on the job! Ordering replacements was a big day.

Looking forward to a new pair of pants that should fit like a comfy pair of yoga pants!

I contacted BLAKLADER on several occasions with questions about a few products. EVERY SINGLE TIME, I was able to speak with a human being who could communicate in my language (english), AND they had recommendations and the answers to my questions. I can't wait to receive the Hi Vis Jacket.
