Last minute emergency transport
We had to get an emergency transport for 2 dogs from Georgia to Michigan after their owner died. Blue Collar Pet Transport managed to arrange it in less than 3 days. We had constant contact with the company and video updates of walks throughout the transport. The dogs were traumatized by the loss of their owner, but by the time they arrived at the destination they were happy and playful again. They loved the driver so much they wanted to go with him when he left. Further, he delivered the dogs in the middle of a blizzard, kept them safe and well-fed the entire way, and was both kind and polite. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

This company Blue Collar Pet Transport had me download an app GroupMe and ensured that I would receive a minimum or 2-4 pictures a day of my puppy along his journey. They breeched the contract on several occasions.
3/19/2026, 9 pm- My German Shepherd puppy, 8 weeks old is picked up by driver.
I received no pictures or update that my puppy was picked up, nor a picture to verify that he picked up the correct dog (as contractually promised). In fact the driver actually drove to his home in NC and slept there, which was unplanned and unknown by management. I had to email the office to make them get me an update on the whereabouts and safety of my puppy the next day.
The driver then tells me the next day on GroupMe that he is sorry that none of his messages went through last night. Then he sent me a picture of my dog that he took at pick-up. The driver stayed in NC all day and left some time in later afternoon to begin driving to Florida.
Another breech of contract as I received only one, 4 second video of my puppy walking in the grass. No update on his health, or where he slept overnight.
The driver must have slept on the road but I got no update on any stops on 3/20. This is another breech in contract.
On 3/21 the driver says in GroupMe "please take care of the invoice so we can continue our route". I refused to pay as the contract says we pay once the puppy is delivered. I told him that I would pay the invoice once he delivers my pup safely.
When the driver arrived my puppy was spiritless in my arms, alive but very weak. I paid the driver and took a look at my frail puppy. His hip bones were protruding, his belly and eyes sunken in. My pup was clearly dehydrated, malnourished and disoriented.
I called the office manager and he ensured that he would investigate. I messaged the driver and asked if he fed my pup the whole route and he ignored me. The office manager still has yet to give a valid answer as to whether or not my pup was fed or watered.
I gave him plenty of time to investigate and provide a valid reason as to why my puppy was delivered in such a condition and even worse, explain to me why the driver handed me a full bag of food for the pup after being on the road for 2 days. The breeder handed him the same bag just as full before the journey, so seemingly, my pup literally ate nothing for two days on the road.

PETS HELD FOR RANSOM & EXTORTED FOR $1,500
I have had to report this business to the Better Business Bureau and am currently seeking legal counsel regarding my experience. At the time of delivery on December 4th, this company refused to release my pets unless I paid an additional $1,500, after the agreed-upon price of $2,650 had already been paid in full prior to pickup. Payment was demanded after they already had possession of my pets and would not release them otherwise. I paid under pressure and duress in order to get them back. Afterwards, I immediately contacted the company and was told I would receive a refund for the $1,500. It is now December 20th. I have received no refund, and the company has stopped responding. I was ignored by Ann from the Customer Service Team, Rick (who I initially spoke with to arrange the transport), and another individual Kenneth who sent the $1,500 invoice. Additionally, one of my Rottweilers arrived with a bladder infection and was urinating blood. The veterinarian indicated this was likely due to her having to hold it for an extended period during the 17-hour transport. While the vet visit was fortunately inexpensive (approximately $160), she is still on antibiotics at the time of me writing this review (December 20th) having to take 2 pills every 12 hours. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS TRANSPORT SERVICE. Based on my experience, their pricing practices, lack of accountability, and disregard for animal welfare are deeply concerning. OWNERS BEWARE.

Extremely dissatisfied
The customer service lady was amazing as were the personalities of the delivery people. First off there were only supposed to be 4 to 5 animals tops on this transport, they ended up being more than double that. Our dog arrived with way more food than she should have, was extremely thirsty and the extreme lack of communication when our dog was in your possession. Not to mention the contractual things that were not done. This is unacceptable when you have someoneâs dog that they love so much those things, should be not tolerated, especially for the money that is paid for this service. I will never use your service again!

Incompetent Drivers
I would have given a 0 rating but that wasnât an option.We hired the pet transport to drive our 2 precious dogs to Texas.Unfortunately, our 2 small dogs didnât meet the criteria to fly with us.
It was an awful experience. We told the
dogs would arrive in a little over 25 hours since both drivers would share the driving time.They turned a 25 hour plus trip , allowing more time for rest stops, into a 35 hour trip. My 2 dogs arrived at their
destination at 3:45 in the morning.The drivers, along with everything in their car ,reeked of marijuana and tobacco.We had to throw out our dogsâ clothes, toys, bedding, crates and blankets , which I washed to try to remove the stench , to no avail.I have no words to describe the shock and horror when our friend , who graciously offered to have our dogs dropped off at her house, described the condition my 2 dogs arrived in.Our flight got us in early the next day.Needless to say , I called the manager and she apologized profusely.She told me what she was going to do at her end and I asked her what was she was going to for me to compensate all I lost. I also told her I took care of the tip at pick up .They each received $100 .The manager gave us a credit of $450 which included the total $200 tip .I also got an invoice near the end of the trip with an $87 shipping fee , which I was never told about.My husband and I are still upset from this horrible experience.The only positive thing is our 2 babies arrived alive.We were nervous the whole time they were being transported.
This experience has left us so traumatized and untrusting to ever hire any ground transportation service again. We are going to rent a car and drive back home with our 2 dogs ,which are like our children.

Friendly and Responsible Service
We used Blue Collar Pet Transport when we moved from Florida to North Carolina. Tanner was our pet's driver and he sent us a video and photos on their entire journey. We felt so confident that our two dogs were being loved and cared for on their ride up from Florida. We were happily reunited with our dogs promptly at 8:00am just like they said we would be.
