Blue Pen Resumes is the real deal. They transformed my resume in way that that I never could have imagined. The resume was so well written I had an interview lined up less than 24 hours after applying to a senior leadership position. The experience of investing in a quality resume to really showcase my expertise to employers has been one of the best decisions I've made for my career this year. Overall excellent experience.

I invested in two professionals advertising through LinkedIn. For a Director and above about $1,200 for a resume alone is over priced. In comparing the two companies, Blue Pen Resumes delivered less for a higher price.
Use of File Share didn't allow printing and I prefer an option to have a hard copy to mark up before making changes. File Share also displayed a small window in which to work on the document.
The final resume was quality work and reflected the 1 hr phone call and support materials submitted. It wasn't better than the other company, who asked more questions and provided more time and deliverables to include cover letter and LinkedIn work.

I liked the thorough questionnaire and in-depth strategy call. Kimberly recorded the strategy call so she could reference as needed when writing my resume. Be careful when you purchase if you’re on a time constraint, it says 14 business days but it’s actually 14 business days from the strategy call (which I had to wait about a week before that was scheduled). Plus it takes longer if there are revisions. It took about a month before the final product. Overall, I was impressed with the content. Kimberly was very professional and gave my resume the makeover it needed to showcase my talents and past experiences. The resume doesn’t have a modern look to it (if that’s what you’re looking for), but her method of keeping it simplistic and matter of fact works and will help you stand out in the application process.
