Le site utilise un algorithme et tu auras beau faire 10 à 20 parties en mode arène dès le début tu sais que tu vas perdre ces 10 fois d'affilée. Ça devient même très frustrant que je préfère jouer au Yam en vrai. Privilèges sur les membres premium qui gagnent 3 à 4 fois d'affilée (quand tu as le malheur de tomber sur eux à la suite) ce n'est plus de la chance mais de la tricherie de la part du site. Je n'y remettrai plus les pieds dedans

Love the site and regularly play board games on it. I only didn't give a 5 as often, proven bugs take many months, or even years, to be fixed.

It's a ghastly site with useless admin and spiteful players. I've had ongoing issues with tiles being pixelated when I try playing carcassonne. I took screenshots as they deducted 20 karma points. I had to repeatedly email them and after 4 days I received an apology and my points back.
However, it's happened twice this week and I lost 40 points. I told my opponent that I couldn't see the tiles and they were happy for me to be timed out and lose points. Nasty players there with no idea of gamesmanship. BGA complaints have now taken a week and not responded to the many emails I sent them with lots of screenshots.
To add insult to injury, they put a note next to your name telling everyone you are a bad player. Spiteful vicious behaviour. Why not actually read my emails and apologise? They have not sorted out this bug but think it ok to make my time on their site stressful. They are really power crazy, and don't care. As the arrogant admin told me in an email, they have 8 million users, and thus do not care if subscribers are upset. If you can play just with friends, it ought to be ok, but beware. They are a very nasty company and customer service is non-existent. I've now sent them around 7 emails and messaged them on their facebook and instagram site, but they haven't replied even though I've paid for a subscription.

Admins are very agresive to normaln players. Some bad player give you red dislike and admins trust him. And we have -100000000 points. Borad Game Arena portal is NOT FAIR. :((((((

I have no idea what these others are on about, but I only play with my friends so I have no idea about mods. This is probably the best website I could have found that lets me enjoy boardgames with my friends online. I even to some degree prefer this over physical since it automates everything :D

c'est quoi ce site ou tu te fait insulter de ... cornu ( le vrai mot ne passe pas sur ce site la preuve que c 'est une insulte cornu) et quand tu le dénonce non non la personne n 'est pas coupable par contre , tu dis looser a un gars pas capable de dire bonjour ou gg tu te prends une modération et tu ne peux plus accéder a ta page si tu tu n'accepte pas la sentence ben allez vous faire voir je ne supporte pas votre dictature depuis quand dire a quelqu'un qu il est un looser / mauvais perdant c est plus grave que d être insulter de cornu !!!!

Quand on joue, c'est pour s'amuser. En théorie.
Sur ce site, j'ai eu tellement de mauvais tirages que je soupçonne dirigés, que j'ai fini par lâcher prise. S'il n'y a plus d'amusement, il n'y a plus d'intérêt.
Perdre fait partie du jeu, toujours perdre vous dégoûte du jeu, et je parle uniquement des jeux où le hasard à la part belle dans les tirages. Et le mode de calcul ELO pour des jeux où la chance prime, du tout grand n'importe quoi, cela crée de la frustration et un sentiment d'injustice. Je retourne à mes boîte et mes vrais jeux, détournez-vous au plus vite de ce site. Le seul intérêt qu'il a est de vous faire découvrir et montrer les règles de base de beaucoup de jeux, mais n'y jouez surtout pas en ligne, vous allez vite regretter. Sans compter les sales joueurs insultant, tricheurs, de connivance...contre lesquels BGA ne fait strictement rien. Après plusieurs années, ma patience est au bout du bout, je viens de supprimer le compte.

Perfect platform for playing with friends online and for testing board games before purchasing. I like the tutorials and multi-platform realization (works perfectly on my Android Smartphone). Strongly recommend!

Expérience plus que décevante, après avoir essayé d'atteindre un certain score, vous devenez vite la proie des joueurs premiums qui dans l'illusion de la victoire, grâce à un tirage de cartes complètement déséquilibré vous féliciteront en commentaire par un gg, quelle arnaque, triste de constater que cette plateforme méprise tout ce que représente réellement le jeu de société !

Decent game selection and interface. Crappy moderation where they don't even follow their own rules.

I like the games, i have premium membership, but I do not like when they suspend me to chat with others for 3 days, and decrease my reputation to 50%.

The other guy called me crazy, and they did not suspend him. I have asked the guy, if he likes to masturbate, because he was picky with questions, they have suspended my account (I was the sheriff).

Stupid moderation team.

Giochi da tavolo fatti bene come gli originali, peccato che siano tutti truccati, se non sei premium, i giochi dove c'è in coefficiente "Fortuna" , sono programmati per far sempre vincere gli utenti abbonati a discapito di quelli NON abbonati, e poi non provate a scendere di reputazione, perchè diventa peggio la situazione.
In parole povere uno schifo, uno cerca di passare 10-15 minuti in relax giocando invece fà solo venire il nervoso, l'impostazione dei programmi (giochi) su BGA è dire poco SCANDALOSA.

The game implementation is mediocre for many games, the UI is buggy, but by far the worst aspect of BGA is that the moderation is draconian and puritanical. The slightest insult or foul language is punished with chat bans, making it difficult to interact or answer questions. There is no appeal process. I do not recommend BGA, and strongly discourage paying for the premium account.

Simply the best website for playing board games online.

It's impossible to win a game if you play against players that have way more ELO point then you. Besides that it feels unfair that player with a higher ELO receive, for example in Yahtzee two or three times in a row a Yahtzee (5 times the same number). It happens a lot of times and not only with Yahtzee, there are way more other games. I'm thankful that I did not paid anything yet. It would be a waste of money at all. I don't know why but I think that the algorithm is pro big ELO numbers.
Nevertheless they offer a big variety of games and it makes sense, too. So you can try the game upfront and buy it as a hard copy if you like the game.

C'est difficile d'accepter se faire jeter d'une partie parce qu'on prend le temps de réfléchir ! Il est vrai que je gagnais ! La victoire est ainsi concédée au présumé perdant. Voilà 2 fois que cela m'arrive. Je pense ne pas renouveler mon abonnement. C'est une plateforme pour jouer et non pour s'entretuer. J'ai écrit à bga qui m'a conseillé de jouer au tour par tour et non pas en réel .On peut aussi régler la vitesse du jeu,d'où la correction de mon avis ....J'ai renouvelé mon abonnement .Et je suis émerveillée par la prouesse informatique des créateurs qui dématérialisent les jeux.Et, il y a quand même des joueurs très sympathiques. 🤩

Si vous ne payez pas, vous gagnerez rarement et encore, avec beaucoup de peine ! Pour les premiums, cela semble beaucoup plus facile ! De plus, jouant à 7 Wonders Arena à 3, je commence la partie très rarement et bien souvent le dernier à jouer ! Les parties se finissent souvent avec des adversaires qui récupérent 2 ou 3 points juste pour te passer devant... Chose qui n'arrive jamais aux non-premiums ! Je paierais un abonnement s'il n'y avait pas cette facilité offerte aux premiums ! Dommage

Very bad customer support and moderation policy.
When I visited this review website, I was not surprised to notice all those negative reviews about the CS and moderation. A woke culture website,opts to moderate and ban players based only on some "swear" words on the chat, but they don't even bother to moderate players who cheat, provoke or engage in kingsplaying. Apparently, all these attributes create a friendly and conducive playing environment according to them....
Also, if you quit a game where players are provoking, violating agreements or engage in unfair team play, you are the one who is penalized...
