My acquaintance with Bobocode took place back in 2018, and since then, I've embarked on the way of Mandalore, or let it be Bobolore)))
For me, Bobocode is not only a tones of exercises to improve hard skills, not just a place where I, in a harmonious team, developed my own IoC (Bring) and ORM (Bibernate), and not just the force that made me wake up at six in the morning and then search for the largest picture on Mars))) But first and foremost, it's a community with an incredible concentration of amazing and cool people, professionals, engineers, like-minded individuals with shared values and perspectives. Well, and of course, the Boboteam is one love. Long story short, Bobocode is the way (the way of Bobolorian)), the way you want to follow...

Experienced engineers say that if you want to understand deeper a framework or a library, try to write it by yourself. On its own, this seems like an impossible task. But together with the team, on the Java Ultimate program, we were able to create our Spring Framework, as well as our Hibernate library (also known as Bring and Bibernate).

This course can give new key knowledge in each of the modules, but this is not the thing that can turn junior developers into seniors immediately but gives a possibility to become better every day, and vision from another angle because practice is in the first place in this course.

My favorite part was when we wrote two custom Spring and Hibernate in a team (Svydovets is the best )) ). During the course, there were a few offline workshops, so it felt like a team spirit flying in the air.

Bobocode is like Harry Potter in IT with specific team names and competitions but there is only one difference, there is no magic )))

Bobocode is a 6 months program for java engineers who seek for improvement in such areas as fundamentals (generics, data structures and algorithms, functional and declarative programming), web (starting from sockets and finishing up with Spring Boot), persistence (SQL, transactions, ACID, JDBC, JPA Hibernate and much more) and finally, microservices (DDD, Spring Cloud, Message Brockers, Docker, Kubernetes, Security).

The students are split into teams, which are lead by experienced mentors. The most important and fun part of this program are team projects. We had to write our own versions of Spring and Hibernate - Bring and Bibernate frameworks respectively. While working on them you truly learn the internals of these frameworks and start to understand that there is just an engineering, not magic behind the scenes.

The program also has a few offline events, which are very important to connect the people. During these events we reviewed each others Bring and Bibernate projects, and did some other fun stuff which helps us to become better engineers overall.

I would say that the most important part of this program is learning how to learn effectively. Just watching some videos or reading some books is not enough. For example, the videos from the previous bobocode program are publicly available on their YouTube channel. You can check them out with no problem. But knowledge you get from watching a video - is temporary. You'll forget everything in a few days or weeks unless you regularly practice the skills you've learned. Our brains are way too smart, so they just forget the things we don't use. That's why you often Google the same "how to deal with XxxException" every time you have to deal with one. This was a real game changer for me. Now I'm more effective in learning, I'm more confident as a software engineer. I have a clear plan of what I want to learn next and how to achieve it.

To sum it up, I can recommend this program to any java engineer who wants to become a true professional in his field. But bear in mind, this program is not an easy one, you need to be prepared to spend lots of time on learning during the program and continue after the finish to achieve the best possible results for yourself. The Bobocode is a true game-changer in IT-education.

This program is well-structured and full of practical tasks. During the program, I have been working in a project team and we have developed our own implementation of Spring Framework and ORM Hibernate Framework. Such an approach allowed us to look in-depth at modern tools. Also, the program allows us to ruin the myth about the magic that this framework does. All knowledge and practical skills received in the program raise self-confidence in difficult tasks. I advise everybody who reached the professional limit to path this program to expand their professional boundaries.

Amazing experience, you can really level up your Java developer skills on this course, java core essentials, functional programming, Spring boot and Hibernate frameworks, a lot of stuff and nuances will be useful even for experienced developers.

Also, the project-oriented learning approach allows me to get deep knowledge about Spring/Hibernate frameworks by writing custom implementations.
It gives skills to quickly understand existing tools.
