Serious seller with many vintage watches for sale.
Solid shipping and very good communication

I purchased a vintage watch from Bill and I can say it's been one of my best experiences for shopping for watches online.

Bill is very fair and patient and not pushy at all. He happily answered all of my questions in a lot of detail and a timely manner before my purchase which was very professional.

He has a great knowledge and good selection of vintage watches and I will 100% be buying from him again.

The watch I bought a few days before was very detailed described by excellent made pictures and text. There was a great support for paypent and shipping clarification. The shipping was safe and very quick by UPS.

Bill at Bold Timepieces is now my trusted 'go to' guy in the vintage watch world. I bought a sweet 1940's Helvetia, had it collected in person and am delighted that is as described and shown. I purchased a stunning Talis flip top art deco watch from the 1930s. My transaction with Bill was professional and smooth. International delivery was fast, and when the watch arrived, it looks so much better in person. Gorgeous watch that will fit in nicely to my collection

Recent transactions include a Seiko Grand Quartz and a 1960’s Zenith both of which are still in good condition and keep great time. Extremely fair prices were given on a vintage Omega and a rare pocket watch.

I was initially pleased to buy a watch from Bold Timepieces as they have some nice pieces on their website and I came across one that I liked the look of. The detailed description and photos helped me to make the decision to buy.
Unfortunately the watch doesn’t fit me even though according to the sizing description it should have, and after confirming by phone the same. So I have a watch that I can’t wear and was told something would be arranged to fit extra links etc, that was 3 weeks ago now.
I’m disappointed when you give a local company your business and the after care is poor. The after care is as important if not more so than the actual sale of a watch. I’ve had no communication from Bill to follow up on my purchase and to arrange for extra links as agreed.
The market is saturated with dealers and I thought I’d give a local company some business but unfortunately I made the wrong decision and feel disappointed. It would seem Bill is just another watch dealer who is only interested in making a few quid out of people. I won’t be buying from Bold Timepieces again.

Bill was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He is so passionate about the watches that he sells, and has tremendous knowledge which he is very happy to share. His website is superb, and he takes great care to post as much information about his current stock as possible for potential buyers. Very impressive. I could not reccomend him more highly.

Bill is so helpful when it comes to enquiring about his stock - no question is silly and you can tell how passionate he is about watches. He helped me surprise my partner with his dream Omega! He is friendly and professional which is so rare these days. I know I’ll purchase again in the future - his Instagram is fantastic for seeing what he has in.

Bill has a fantastic knowledge of Horology, and has been able to answer all of my questions on a variety of his watches. His prices are great and the quality of his stock is amazing.
