I schedule in advance at least 2 hours…

I schedule in advance at least 2 hours beforehand, and on several occasion no driver claims my request. Their support line is not effective, it's either always busy or off. There's only automatic response on their Whatsapp and their support email does not bother answering. At first, it was fine and fast, but now it's slow and there's no one for support. Kind of disappointed with this service

Excellent moving service.

Excellent moving service. But, not so good customer service.
It would have been great if a rep could call me once an order for moving has been done. This service is relatively new for Mauritius, so I would have liked be reassured that you were taking me seriously. Also, noone called even on the day of moving. I had to call to check if I should wait or not.

At booking time

At booking time, we are sent a booking confirmation saying we will be contacted one hour before the scheduled move time. We booked days in advance. On moving day, no one showed up and we were told that no one claimed our booking leaving us stranded two days before we needed to leave our place. Very unprofessional

No driver had claimed your booking. We understand the importance of clear communication, and I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. To enhance transparency, we are actively working on refining our messaging to ensure that our clients are well-informed throughout the entire process.

We did not get what we paid extra for

We did not get the sheltered truck and the number of helpers we specified for on the app, even if we paid a higher price for these. This resulted in ALL our furniture being damaged. So, we made huge losses because of Bongeni. We will not use this app again and we warn everyone against it as well.

PS: Following this bad review, we didn't appreciate the driver calling us with insults. To begin with, the review was about Bongeni, not exactly the driver.

I had no intention of saying anything bad about the driver and his truck, but since he asked for it.

1. The truck was dirty with soil and rocksand, this ruined the mattress
2. The driver and helper have no expertise with moving furniture, they scratched and chipped everything
3. The so-called shelter was just a plastic cover which hardly did much against the rain

Those guys are NOT professional movers. They are just a truck driver and a helper. Bongeni makes you think they are professionals and makes you pay twice the price for it. You can get a truck driver for half the price everywhere in Mauritius.

We paid a higher price for a professional service which we didn't get.

Firstly, we apologize for any misunderstandings that occurred during the move. We would like to clarify a few aspects based on our records and the information you've shared:
Helper Shortage and Truck Shelter: Our driver informed us that he had contacted you prior to the move to communicate that he would be short one helper. He also mentioned that he discussed the option of using his truck short tent due to the potential for rain, and you approved this arrangement. We appreciate your agreement to proceed under these conditions.
Truck Design and App Icon: The icon of the truck is non contractual on the app which by no means illustrate the design of a actual freelance truck
Driver-Client Communication: We've reviewed the call recordings between the driver and yourself, and we found no instances of the driver insulting you. He defintely apologize for any misunderstanding that may have arisen.
Furniture Condition and Dropoff: It is to be noted that your furniture and mattress were in good condition upon dropoff based on the photo of completeion. We understand that the situation may have become more challenging when moving the items through a narrow staircase(video provided) and upon unsuccessful attempt, you had decided to move everything ot your Mother'sPlace, which has contributed to the issues you experienced as based on the photo at dropoff of Port Louis, it can be clearly be seen that the furtniture were in a good state.
It is also good to note that the driver was beneath a bridge with his truck and it is only on the order of the client, that he headed to the dropoff point.
Delivery Beyond Initial Agreement: We note that the delivery was intended to be from Curepipe to Port Louis as initially booked. Any subsequent arrangements beyond that scope might have introduced additional complexities that impacted the condition of your belongings.
We value your feedback and want to assure you that we are committed to addressing these issues for the betterment of our services. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences you faced during this process. We are continuously working to improve our processes and enhance the customer experience.
Our goal is to regain your trust and provide you with a more positive experience should you consider using our services again in the future.

Highly recommended

This is a very reliable and professional service. I highly recommend it.
I had to pick up delicate items from the northern region and have them delivered to the southwestern part of the island. My items were delivered in due time and the parcels were intact. Thank you so much.
