Great research keyword tool and studio but its pretty much clearly vibe coded and buggy. The subscription system is dumb - your locked for a trail where you cant use the pro features and also the templates provided are very limited.

SCAM ALERT. Book Bolt is a SCAM. They charged me $9.99/month for exactly 24 months, totaling $239.76 for a service I NEVER used. It started as a free trial on a secondary bank account I don't monitor regularly, & silently converted to a paid subscription, and they just kept taking my money.
When I asked for a goodwill refund due to zero usage, they refused. Twice.
This is predatory and unethical. They deliberately design their free trial model knowing people may forget to cancel. DO NOT sign up. I even read another person's review on this platform saying they did cancel before the trial was up and Book Bolt continued to charge them anyway. You may never get your money back if you sign up for a free trial, whether you remember to cancel or not. Consider yourself warned.

They did the free trial and subscribed then I was charged $191 3 days later the subscription was for $20 a month. I didn’t even use it a week. This website is a scam.

Literaly the worst tool for creating books. Character consistency is non existent! You have to keep regenerating the images even with clear prompts. This eats up all your credits, and you are left with an unfinished book. Product research is ok.

Their software is adequate, there are much better and more principled companies out there, some of the software is rudimentary and it is not suitable for kindle books.

They use affiliates to push their software, which is how I got suckered in. I stopped using them over 7 months ago, and just found out they had taken a yearly subscription out of my account just over a week ago. They sent no renewal notification email or invoice, I found out from my bank statement. When I approached them they refused to refund me saying I didn't contact them within 3 days of it being taken!

Total rip-off, they take your money and run!

Bookbolt is a big scam organisation, I'm surprised seeing good reviews about them here, maybe they paid people to give them good reviews here. I am their affiliate marketer, as my account balance is due for withdrawal of my funds, they changed my account and created a new account for me, my funds was not inside anymore and I'm not the only one complaining about this. I contacted their customer support but they still went ahead to create another new account for me with different username and my funds was not still there too. This scam must come to an end.

After seeing your reply below, i know you guys are scammers already, you suspended me without doing anything wrong? where is your mail stating that i violate your affiliate teams? Why do you guys quickly registered another account for me without telling me what i did wrong? Now you can't even state even one single thing i did wrong because it's obvious that you scammed me after suffering promoting your platform. I know you suspended me because my balance is due for withdrawal and you want to go with it.... You will never go free, I promise

I use Book Bolt regularly for the creation of a number of my books. Their tools are easy to use and make the formatting and creation process great.

The keyword and research tools are nice, but I do feel as though their accuracy is pretty suspect. If you compare it to other tools, you'll see that their results may show 95,000 searches monthly for a keyword when, in reality, it is more likely less than 1,000 per month.

Thank you Book Bolt for helping me live my dream to be a Book Publisher. I appreciate their attention to training and find the weekly call keeps me focused. Also, I like that I can reach out to them and they respond in a timely manner. There is a lot to learn but I like that they wash and rinse so we understand the importance of becoming a great publisher.

This is a great tool. I've been using it since March 2023 for all my low and medium content books.

This platform has made creating low content books to sell on Amazon a breeze. I'm not computer savvy enough to do all of that stuff on my own! But this site is easy to understand and easy to use!

Bookbolt is a scam. I cancelled my account before the trail ran out and I was still charged for subscriptions. Stay away!

Bookbolt are now saying I have 2 accounts. One was cancelled during the trail period but another one was apparently active. How can I have an active account with an e-mail that doesn't belong to me. Surely I would have to vet the e-mail address before an account is opened. I've asked several times for the IP tags, but they wouldn't supply it.

They are not budging and would not refund my subscriptions.

I'm sure other have had great service, but I would not trust this business and wouldn't sign up for their services again,

Not sure what the 1-star reviews are going on about? Maybe competitors attempting to sabotage the site? I recently paid for the lifetime Pro subscription. Yes it's not cheap, but I know my investment will motivate me to do the work to get my money back out of it.

So far, Bookbolt has worked as I had expected. It was easy to use and I've now created word search puzzles with solutions for 7 books. I didn't use the cover creation tools as I want more creative control and options, so I made my covers using Affinity Designer, but it was easy to import the completed cover art back into my BookBolt project and then save the entire thing as a print ready PDF. Oh, I should mention that the BookBolt cover template was super helpful as I was setting up my design template in Affinity Designer. All of the critical page dimensions, fold lines, bleed, and trim lines are clearly marked so my cover met all of the Kindle KDP requirements and perfectly matched the BookBolt dimensions when I imported it back in.

Issues? There were a couple of times when I was working late at night that BookBolt took a LONG time to process and download a project's PDF. I suspect it was due to server maintenance or perhaps too many users on the platform at the same time?

Also, I think the BookBolt team could improve the font size consistency and alignment of the way the word answers are generated below the word search puzzles. The puzzles themselves are perfect, but sometimes some answer words can be in a much larger font size than the other words, and their alignments are not as neat as I would prefer. It's all editable inside the document, but it is all manual and you have to eyeball things as there appear to be no guidelines or anything to snap to. It's a time consuming process that could be improved.

Along those lines, it would be great if the exported pages would have editable text, but the PDFs are really just screen captured / PNG versions of the pages from your project. If I want to edit any text in the PDF outside of the BookBolt platform, I have to then OCR scan the pages using another third party tool, and most of those do NOT know how to handle text within the puzzles, so they all get messed up.

All that being said, so far, despite a few glitches and some annoying editing issues, in my use, BookBolt has proven its ability to help me quickly create complete books for KDP. The interface is pretty user friendly and intuitive once you get the hang of it, and there are plenty of tutorials on their site and on YoutTube. I haven't even really made much use of the research tools, as I also have a BookBeam subscription, but if I didn't have any other tools, I think BookBolt would be a great single tool to enable me to start my publishing journey.

I've been a BookBolt user for several years, and I'm very satisfied with this software.

i really like the app and what functions it has, i would like it to include more and more diverse games and to make it much easier to work on the book: to save anything you do faster, to be able to do more things on the page, easier - i know you probably won't like it but it should be more like the Canva app, which has instant response and a very friendly interface. Bookbolt has pluses that you don't find anywhere else, such as being able to put an illustration on all pages, or on certain pages (i would like to put the illustration and that's it, not delete the page completely, that's if I don't want to duplicate the page), i would like to be able to save a certain section of what I'm working on and here I mean saving, for example, pages 5-7. I like that I have all the benefits on the same platform, searching for the 100 best-selling books, searching for keywords, searching for information about a specific book, etc.

BookBolt is hands down one of the best platforms out there for anyone serious about publishing on Amazon KDP – if not the best. The interface is clean, intuitive, and extremely powerful. I especially love the variety of ready-made templates, which save hours of design time and help create professional-looking interiors and covers in minutes.
The keyword research tools, cover designer, interior generator, and niche explorer make it a full-service solution. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, BookBolt gives you everything you need to create, analyze, and publish bestselling low-content or no-content books. I'm genuinely impressed. Highly recommended!

Book Bolt is a great platform!

I love the ease of use of Book Bolt Studio. I had no prior experience with designing software and BB Studio was super intuitive and easy to get used to.

I also love the keyword and competitor research features. I haven't seen a platform that offers such extensive data on the KDP market.

I appreciate Book Bolt for its user-friendly interface and comprehensive support options, including instructional videos that guide users through various processes. As a high-content author, I transitioned from traditional publishing, which my brother previously handled, to self-publishing due to financial constraints. Book Bolt has significantly facilitated this shift by simplifying the uploading process to Amazon, handling much of the technical workload. I also utilized Book Bolt to design my book covers, streamlining the entire publishing workflow. Creating puzzles with Book Bolt is engaging and addictive, often leading to extensive production sessions. Overall, I highly recommend Book Bolt to authors seeking an efficient and accessible self-publishing tool.
