This was such a unique gift to give my husband. He was so blown away that he started reading it. I loved his reaction when he opened the present and saw a picture of him on a hardcover book. He was confused with a big grin and couldn’t believe that when he started reading all the subtitles of the story he was blown away with detail about him and his life.
Book Taylor made it quite easy for me to navigate through the questionnaire. The more detail you give the more of a fun story it will be trust me you’ve got to do this for your loved one.

The book was a gift for my sister’s birthday. She has loved reading and laughing through it all. There was a typo on her name and I contacted BookTailor and they corrected it and sent her the new book in a very timely manner. The people I dealt with were all very nice and attentive to questions I had. I highly recommend BookTailor as a company to help you get a gift for a family member or friend!

Book arrived today and is the perfect gift for my husband. It’s very funny and apt for him - I can’t wait for him to open it . Service was great . Would thoroughly recommend this company .

My book was far better than I expected! I take care of my husband following a stroke, and wanted my book to reflect that. The chapters were full of realistic and touching scenes between us. My grown children made appearances, as well as my pets. I loved it!

When I was writing up answers to all the prompt questions, my goal was to just make it a book about her and get some laughs in. But this book, as we are still reading it together, literally is the most exciting thing to come home to after a long day of work. A total thrill and I am quite impressed at how far our technologies in writing have come. Hat tipped!

Amazing. Makes for a great gift. Obviously not all accurate in the story, but so much was it was fun. Highly recommend.

Answer the Questions. Very detailed and they will make you an excellent amazing book that's hilarious!
And I emailed me a few days after I placed the order and then they even checked on me and emailed me after I had already received it to make sure it was satisfactory.

I ordered a personalised book on 24 February and paid extra for express delivery (5–7 working days), as it was intended as a birthday gift.

What followed was a very frustrating and poorly handled experience from start to finish.

The delivery information at checkout is unclear and misleading. It suggests a 5–7 working day delivery timeframe, but does not clearly explain that production time is added on top. As a result, the book did not arrive anywhere near the expected date and completely missed the occasion it was ordered for.

On 4 March, I contacted customer service to check the status of my order. I was told that it would be shipped within the next 36 hours. Later that same day, I received a “your book is on its way” email with a UPS tracking number. However, when I checked the tracking the following day, the parcel had already been returned to the sender for unknown reasons.

The first shipment never reached me. UPS marked the parcel as “receiver unavailable” and returned it without leaving any delivery notice. The explanation I received from BookTailor was confusing, including a statement that the book had somehow “got lost.”

When I contacted customer support, the responses were dismissive and defensive rather than helpful. I was told that the delivery timeframes were “clearly stated” and that they had never received complaints about this, which did not reflect my experience or what is shown at checkout.

As the birthday had already passed, I requested a refund on 10 March. The company did issue a full refund (which I received shortly after), and also reprinted and resent the book, which I appreciate.

However, the replacement delivery was again unnecessarily complicated due to a “signature required” service. The parcel could not be left, and I had to collect it from a pickup point - despite no ID or signature actually being required at collection.

At no point during this process was there any apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused, despite the missed occasion and multiple issues.

The book itself is fun and well made, which is the only reason this is not a lower rating. However, the overall experience - from misleading delivery expectations, to failed delivery, to dismissive customer service - was disappointing and stressful.

I would not rely on this company for time-sensitive orders.

I ordered a book for my best friends birthday I was so excited to give it to her I actually got her on video opening it she was so excited she’s like how did you do this I told her about Book Tailor and she had 2 books made up for her sons birthday and sisters birthday she gave it to them and the books are the talk of the family get together so now my best friends sister is having some made up it was like a chain reaction it’s the best gift to someone that likes to read and it’s so personal and funny.I highly recommend getting one of these books made up!!!!

My granddaughter absolutely loves her book. It’s her story and she was tickled to get it.This is such a unique gift to give to someone. It is made with great quality.

While looking for something unique for my sister, I ran across this book. It made my sister giggle and laugh at every turn. To be honest, I haven’t seen her laugh in a long time. Everyone wants to know where I got the book from because they were just as impressed as I was with this book. You definitely must buy this book for a loved one! This book is genius. Much kudos to the author!

I’m extremely happy with this purchase! The book was absolutely great and everything I expected it to be. The story was engaging, well-written, and hard to put down and it was so funny. It truly lived up to the descript and exceeded my expectations in many ways.

I gifted the book to my daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loved it. Shock and awe. My other family members were admiring the quality of the hardcover cover and the cover photo. Her Mom started reading the passages that referenced familiar family members and friends. They loved how relatable the storyline was. The level of detail was outstanding, right down to the commentary on the back cover. Thank you for the wonderful book. I will definitely keep Book Tailor in mind when looking for gift ideas.
