I was finishing my book. I was looking for editors and found Book Writing House. A lot of interaction in the editing and thorough handling of issues. Resolution of the issues was handled promptly. Jayden was especially helpful in keeping me informed of the progress at each step of the process of editing, copyrighting, book cover, and publishing with ISBN. First royalty check this month. I would do it again.

Scammers. Avoid! The deeper I vetted the more fake they became. Insisted on NDA. Insisted relentlessly that I pay upfront with no refunds or pro-rata. Could not provide employee names. Skated around questions. Reviews and testimonials fake. What they boast on the website does NOT match the small measly contract-- their T&C actually state the opposite in fine print. References also fake. They claim to have worked on projects but they are making false statements and claims about the books they've worked on. AI really ousted them in ways they could not and would not defend. If you value your manuscript do not even share or enter a verbal agreement or they'd hold you to it. Save your money and avoid BWH at all costs. Address listed in CA as a PMB virtual mailbox with registration in Mass. and a virtual # listed in VA. There's nothing real about them. They spelled my name wrong in the contract. They're very good at seeming real and they really do have a great sales pitch. But they claimed other publishers, well known in USA were the actual scammers. I bet they change their name after this review.

I wish I could give zero stars. This company completely took advantage of me. As a first-time author, I trusted them with my book and paid $599 — which is a huge amount for me — but they delivered nothing of real value.

I had already designed and prepared my book myself. All they did was take my file and publish it on Kindle, even though I specifically told them I did not want digital publishing. I asked them to adjust the book’s price, but they ignored my request. They also claimed they would set up an IngramSpark account for me, collected all my personal details, yet never gave me access to it.

When I bought my own copies of the book from Amazon, the money never came back to me. I have no idea where do that money go.In short, they offered no real support, misled me at every step, and took my money without fulfilling their promises.

This was an awful experience, and I strongly warn others: never choose this company. They are frauds.

I have recently signed with Book Writing House publishing. The past 90 days was filled with opportunities and publishing companyies and publishing companies contacting me about my book, "Beyond the clouds ,LOOKING DOWN"
The conversation I had with the agent from Book Writing House was informative, and inspiring. As I listened it felt like I was having a conversation with one of my family members. I continued to listen and the Book Writing House agent also Patiently listened. The results of that conversation put my book and future content in line with the publisher, because I signed with them.
