We switched to the Booster theme last year, and since then we’ve definitely experienced a lower conversion rate compared to our previous setup. Since then, we’ve been continuously working on improving our SEO, website performance, and overall conversion rate.

We even decided to purchase Booster’s speed optimisation service for another $900+ after the initial theme purchase to help improve the website’s performance. We’ve continued making changes and optimisations throughout this year, so it has been an ongoing process for us.

One thing I really appreciate is the support from Milven, my project manager. I’ve sent quite a few requests and questions his way, and he has always been very helpful and willing to assist with whatever I need. He’s been patient with all my questions and has helped get many of the changes I’ve requested actioned.

The turnaround time can sometimes take 1–2 days or longer depending on the request, so there can occasionally be a bit of a wait. However, Milven has consistently been helpful once he gets to the request, and I really appreciate his willingness to work through things with me.

We’re still continuing to work on the store, SEO, performance, and conversion, but overall I’ve had a positive experience with the support, particularly with Milven. He’s definitely made the process much easier whenever I need help with something.

We are an ecommerce business and have used Booster Theme’s paid development support for an extended period. Our experience has been poor enough that I feel obliged to warn other store owners.
In July, faults connected to work on our variant swatches broke add-to-cart functionality on our live store across two separate periods (3–6 and 13–14 July), directly costing us sales during trading days. Getting the issues investigated took repeated chasing, with deadlines agreed and then missed.
When a review of the JavaScript errors was finally produced, it blamed everything except the theme — including a third-party app we have never installed, which tells you how carefully our store was actually examined. The same errors exist on our untouched backup themes, which contradicts their explanation entirely.
Worse, part of the “fix” was simply disabling the console error messages so they no longer appear — and the suppressed script related to variant selectors, the exact functionality that had failed. Hiding errors is not fixing them.
We have also been waiting three months for customisations we paid for to be delivered to our live theme, and our requests for a root-cause analysis, a changelog of who changed what on our themes, and escalation to a senior developer have gone unanswered.
If your store is your livelihood, think very carefully before relying on this team for anything beyond basic theme installation. Slow responses, missed deadlines, deflection instead of diagnosis, and no accountability when things break.

I purchased the Booster Theme in November 2025, expecting a premium experience. After already paying for the premium theme, I was charged an additional $1499 for their “Premium Store Setup + Speed Optimization Service.” Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst services I’ve experienced.

The overall process was extremely slow and inefficient. I initially spoke with Ms. Jenn over a Zoom call, who then introduced me to Milven. I clearly explained my requirements and expectations, but despite that, the results were far from satisfactory.

What’s frustrating is that today there are so many AI tools available—like ChatGPT, Claude, and Canva—that can help create high-quality banners and visually appealing pages. I even provided images and clear direction, yet they still couldn’t deliver properly.

For the amount charged, I expected expertise and efficiency, especially from a company behind a well-known theme like Booster. Instead, it felt like a complete waste of money.

My honest advice: don’t spend extra on these unnecessary add-ons. You’re better off building your store yourself using available tools, or simply choosing a more affordable theme directly from Shopify.

I recently bought the **Booster Theme** for my Shopify store, and it's been fantastic so far!

The loading speed is seriously impressive—pages feel instant, which has already lowered my bounce rate noticeably.

With over 40 built-in features like upsells, urgency timers, and trust badges, I've boosted my average order value without needing extra apps.

Customization is super straightforward with the intuitive editor, and I set up beautiful product pages quickly—no heavy coding required.

Customer support responded fast when I had setup questions—definitely worth it for anyone wanting real conversion gains! 🚀

Milven (my project manager) was excellent. He was communicative and always happy to work with what I wanted.
The initial draft of the store did have a few little issues, but these were ironed out without any hassle pretty promptly.
The only reason this isn't getting a full 5 stars is because the store isn't usable right now. It was incredibly slow and clunky (more so than my original store!) - that being said, it's been explained to me that this might be more due to the images being used rather than the theme itself. I was just thought that having paid for a premium set up it would include all of those optimizations and it turns out it doesn't. That is an extra charge, which was a bit disappointing... but otherwise the store itself looks good, customer service was great and I found the theme really easy to work with.

Excellent customer service, Klea resolved an issue quickly. Further the theme is great, with excellent loading speed - I'd purchase again.

First of all, the customer service is really poor. They do not give clear instructions and take very long to reply.

Secondly, most of the theme is not able to be translated without going into Liquid. The support says this is possible but are unable to give any clear guidance as to how.

After struggling for months to try to solve the issues, we gave up, asked for a refund and were faced with an automatic reply that we can't refund. That's poor customer service. I'm never going to recommend this theme to any of my colleagues in the e-commerce field.

Great customer service! My issue was fully resolved within one to two days, and so far I’ve always received a working solution for every problem I’ve had. It’s not always something that can be fixed instantly in the live chat, especially if the issue is more complex, but the help center with the AI and chat support is very effective for basic or common questions. For anything more advanced, the case is passed on to technical support, and they’ve done a really good job for me every time.

The customer support is not great at all to be honest, and a lot of the features are buggy with very little customization. When trying to use different features, a lot of the time they straight up do not work and customer support will give you little to no help.

I purchased the lifetime package with Booster Theme. I have been in contact with support MANY times. I have to say that their support has been OUTSTANDING. I just want to say thank you.

Booster Theme has been my go to theme for any store.

The theme is easy to setup/customize and their customer service is pretty fast and helpful.

I strongly advise you never to buy this theme. Since my purchase on September 28, I immediately reported a critical bug: the buttons do not work, and it gets even worse if your site is not in English (translation issues, multiple blockages).

Their support claims to reply within 24-48 hours. The reality? It has been 5 days and I am still waiting, with nothing but empty promises that "it will be handled soon." Today, October 2, I still have no solution, only repetitive, useless answers every single day.

Bugs encountered:

Buttons without any text.

Add to cart not working.

Serious problems as soon as the site needs translation.

The customer service is nonexistent, or worse, mocking. I even doubt the authenticity of many of the positive Trustpilot reviews, because based on my daily exchanges with them, the way they respond is simply unbelievable.

As a result, I have lost valuable time and my business is blocked. Avoid this theme at all costs if you want to move forward and not get stuck.

Love this theme. It beats Shoptimized hands down for ease of use and have not had any major issues with it. I was having trouble with a custom revison to my store and support solved my problem for me. It did take a few days but the fix was exactly what I asked for. Couldn't be happier with this theme.

I’ve seen some mixed reviews about Booster Theme and their support, but my experience has been great. I’ve received timely responses, and the team even delivered a custom upgrade to my theme. They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. I’m already considering the support upgrade once my first year is complete.

In fact, Booster is the first!

Not only is the theme incredibly fast - a must for a client recommendation - but the included functionality is quite good.
