I had all my external window frames painted by Stuart and his team from Borthwick Decorators. They took great care over the preparation of the frames, which were in a pretty awful state. Painting was carried out with precision and skill. Stuart is a perfectionist and at completion my windows frames looked good as new! Borthwicks are a very professional company to deal with and Annemarie in the office was always responsive and helpful. I am delighted to give them a 5 star review.

We were delighted with the exterior paint work on our house. The team were professional, punctual and very approachable and friendly. They also checked we were happy with the end result and tidied everything before leaving. We will be happy to use them again.

The wardrobe doors sourced and fitted by Andrew are perfectly fitted-exactly what I wanted. Andrew took time and checked that I was happy with the work. Rab’s painting and decorating of the room is of a high standard. Both Andrew and Rab were prompt and efficient and ensured everything was left tidy and the work completed to my liking.

What a truly excellent job from Borthwick Decorators! The exterior of our house had become very marked and required some TLC. Due to the size of the job local decorating companies were not interested, one replied "too busy" without even enquiring what the job involved!! Borthwick Decorators came to quote immediately when contacted. Thought the quote a little expensive, but worth every penny! They have completed an excellent job, every care and attention to detail, all painters onsite worked diligently and in a very professional manner. Very good to see an age range in staff, all were extremely polite at all times. Simply cannot praise the company and staff enough! The job required to be completed to a specific timeline....no problem, job completed in one week!

Really pleased with Barry from Borthwicks, he did a great job on our living room, he worked really hard, was punctual, polite and also did a great job clearing up when he was finished. I was amazed when he managed to complete the job in just 2 days and the results are great.

We had Borthwick decorators decorating our hall, it's a tall townhouse with some difficult to reach areas on the staircases and the paper we had asked them to hang was not the easiest. The quality of work was notably high and teh attitude and professionalism was even higher. very satisfied would definitely use again.

We appointed Borthwick Decorators to fully paint the communal hallways of our flatted development (walls, ceilings, skirting boards, window frames, door frames, balustrades and bannisters) and we couldn’t be more satisfied and happy with the end result. Communication with David was always excellent throughout the process, from beginning to completion (painting specification, quote, and starting date) and David was always was very approachable and quick to respond with his expert knowledge to any questions we had.

Eddie and his team of painters who painted the communal hallways, were fantastic: very professional, skilled, friendly, hard-working and helpful and nothing was ever an issue. They arrived punctually everyday and tidied up afterwards, and ensured that everything was painted to our satisfaction, and all in all, it was a pleasant experience.

We would thoroughly recommend Borthwick Decorators, and for any future painting work, we wouldn’t think of going to anyone else.

Borthwick were fantastically responsive, due to my time constraints with pandemic travel - being in the UK only for a couple of months - they turned around a quote for water damage repair in two rooms, room painting and bay window painting in a short time frame. Our decorator - Rab - was fantastic, lovely guy and unbelievably fast and professional. He did a huge amount of work in a few days.

Borthwick Decorators did a fantastic job of painting or cornice and centre piece. They were responsive and quick and came up with a solution to fit our job in as soon as they could as it was just a small one. Stuart who arrived on the day was fantastic. We received a friendly and professional service from him, the result was beautiful and there was no mess left behind. We’re very pleased and we’d definitely come back for any further painting needs.

David and his team were very professional and made a fantastic job of decorating my home, they made sure everything was covered up and cleaned up afterwards, so no damage to my carpets or furniture. We had Borthwick Decorators in to plaster our ceiling and repaint our sitting room after a leaking roof. From start to finish I was blown away by how professional they are. David Borthwick came over to the house and chatting about what we were looking for and from there until the job was done, it was seamless. I am so used to tradesmen and decorating companies leaving messes, not showing up on time, or taking ages to do a job but I can honestly say that this company seem head and shoulders above the rest and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get a very professional job done.
