Abba Voyage was a fantastic show, the area before entering the main arena was clean, with bars and food. The show itself was amazing, I don’t usually go to see something more than once, but I’d defi... もっと見る

The show was brilliant this is my 3rd time going
Fantastic!
Queue, queue, queue
The ticket process is chaotic. We received an email that we had to print out and take to the desk at Entrance A to receive our tickets. Why couldn’t there be 2 barcodes on the email? We then had to queue at Entrance B. We eventually entered Entrance B and told to wait for 20 minutes to join another queue for the scanner. Had we bought our tickets directly we could have converted them to an annual pass. The venue itself resembles a building site and many exhibits were not available. Not a complete waste of time, but I couldn’t recommend it until the renovations are completed and the ticket process is simplified.
Not worthy of a great play
Review of 2026 A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Venue was fab. Production not so. Audience interaction can be great, but this was at the expense of a brilliant text. Bit of a disgrace really adding improvised lines onto a genius text for the sake of cheap laughs. The nature of love, the nature of acting, the beauty of the language, the hilarious soon to change passions of utterly besotted youth- none of these were explored yet pandering to cheap laughs was thoroughly.
Visit to the Wooden O
Fantastic experience, seeing the iconic Globe theatre, I was so pleased to eventually make the time to go.
The production and acting was fantastic, and told Shakespeare’s A Mid Summer Nights Dream beautifully. The actors were stoic as it was such a hot day!
I hadn’t realised till the day before that we sat on backless wooden benches, pleased you could hire cushions to sit on. I was also pleased that we were not in the yard or directly opposite stage as they were in full on sun for the whole of the show. Would go again, it was a great experience, and enjoyed a lovely walk along the bank of the Thames to and from the show.
Excellent acting
Excellent acting. Interesting modern version based on Moliere’s classic play.
It was just a great show
It was just a great show. Wonderful music, dancing and acting.
Overdone but entertaining
Overall, the production was fine. Very theatrical and exuberant; unfortunately I’m more of a Shakespeare purist so I thought it was a bit overdone with the musical skits and spectacle aspects. Still enjoyable.
Pure Entertainment
Just sitting in the Globe is an experience in itself but the performance and cast of A Midsummer Nights Dream was pure magic.
It was the most entertaining live theatre show we had experienced. Everyone there seemed captivated. Do not hesitate to book tickets for this unique theatre experience. My only advice is rent a cushion for the wooden benches.
off-the-beaten path theatre at its best
superb acting. loved being so close to the actors. simple, yet ingenious scenic design and directing.
Outstanding performance by all
Outstanding performance by all. It was like a masterclass on acting. Thoroughly enjoyed.
A superb production
A superb production. I started laughing before the show started and continued after the final curtain. When I am next in London, I will be buying more tickets to see the show again. Its a must see show.
Excellent performance
Excellent performance, funny, amusing, professional and highly creative, a joy to watch, not forgetting the wonderful music by an outstanding orchestra
Excellent evening.
The whole venue including the restarunt, cafe, shop and build up to the show was worth the money. The performance itself was excellent, especially considering it was the final one after a long run.
The most un-funny play I've seen in…
The most un-funny play I've seen in London in many a year. Subject matter quite strange and presented in an almost slapstick manner that wasn't generally funny, mostly uncomfortable laughter from a small portion of the audience. To add to this the lead, Katherine Tate, did not appear. In my opinion the acting performances were good but the script wasn't. Thank goodness the play was only short.
A very disappointing experience
I just left a review on your website but it seems to have disappeared. I scored it three stars.
My partner Brian is a lifelong ABBA fan . We had tickets for the show a couple of years ago but were not able to attend due to illness. Last Thursday we made it to Pudding Lane looking forward to finally getting to see the show. We had our ticket on my phone as directed. The door staff said there was a problem with them. We had to go to the box office and were initially told that the tickets were for July even though they clearly showed Thursday 28 th as the performance date. We were given the impression that we were not going to see the show. Eventually they found out tickets on their system and printed them out. We made it into the auditorium and eventually found out seats which was not so easy due to the very low light levels.
The show was visually stunning and very cleverly done. However the sound quality was not good. The vocals were not as clear as they should have been. When the band did their solo spot the sound levels were just too much for the PA system to handle. I have played in semi pro bands for over forty years so I think I know a bit about amplification. It was a very disappointing experience. My partner Brian felt the same and was very let down.
In contrast we attended a performance of The Devil Wears Prada the night before which was superb. The staff were warm and friendly. The production stunning and flawless the music powerful and clear as a bell.

The play was so beautiful that we left with nothing but admiration for the artists and the place. It was everything I imagined. WIll return soon!
Venue is unique
Venue is unique. Thank goodness there were rental cushions and fans were sold for ver warm afternoon performance. We enjoyed the experience and would do it again tho this isn't my favorite play. Cast was very engaging and energetic.
Catherine Tait never dissapoints
