Boxtrees Nursery was established in 2005. We are a small specialist plant nursery based near Southwold on the East Suffolk coast, supplying hedging and topiary plants online across the UK and Europe. Boxtrees Nursery are suppliers of high-quality hedging and topiary plants. We work closely with a small number of reputable growers to source and supply healthy nursery stock direct to your door for all your landscaping and gardening needs. We offer a wide selection of plants with particular emphasis on traditional evergreen hedging and topiary choices of Buxus, Taxus and Ilex. Recent interest in alternatives to box has also led us to extend our range to include Euonymus, Myrtus and Osmanthus. Other nursery stock is available on request. We have a small but dedicated team who can advise on all aspects of plant care and maintenance to ensure you make the best choice for your garden. Plants are available all year round. However we strongly recommend planting when conditions are good. This provides the best opportunity for your plants to establish well and develop into strong healthy specimens. Hedging plants

Ordered 50 small plants for hedging. Arrived well packaged in excellent condition. Very well rooted plants with good growth showing.

Great selection, great price, great service.

An excellent selection and range of topiary plants at very competitive prices. We were especially pleased that delivery is included in the cost. The plants arrived within days and in generally very good condition. The USP for this nursery is the willingness of the proprietor, Bill, always to answer the phone promptly to explain and answer questions when choosing plants and on aftercare.

Boxtrees were always ready to support


Boxtrees were always ready to support us in getting the plants we wanted and that they were in excellent condition. We intend coming back for some mature yew hedging.

Easy to order on line

Easy to order on line. Despatched quickly and arrived quickly. Only thing I would say is the delivery driver never knocked or rang my bell. They just left it on my doorstep.
I would order from this company again.

Good communication from Boxtrees


Good communication from Boxtrees Nursery when my plants were delayed. When plants did arrive they were in excellent condition. Would definitely buy from them in the future.

Excellent plants and excellent service

Have bought plants online from this nursery several times now (for delivery to Wales). On each occasion the customer service has been excellent (it's nice to get straight through by phone to somebody both knowledgeable and friendly), the delivery service has been good, and the correct plants have arrived healthy and in good condition. Will definitely use again.
