I ordered a dress from Brahmaki on 3/5/26. I received the dress on 3/20/26. The dress was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOR THAN WHAT WAS ORDERED!!! I emailed immediately along with photos of the dress I received and explained in detail that clearly the dress sent was a different color than the actual dress ordered! I also included their own online stock photos of the wrong color which was sent and the right color that should have been sent! (The color they sent was a color that was OUT OF STOCK online!) I also informed them that I was going to submit for a return & refund but Brahmaki would deduct $52.00 for a return to get a refund! So I asked for a detailed explanation for this error and also asked for fabric swatches of both colors for comparison. I received an email stating that my feedback has been shared with their team and will wait for their advice and recommendation. Once they have their guidance, they will get back to me promptly with an explanation and the next steps including color swatches for comparison if available. The email concluded by stating that they appreciate my patience while they investigate the matter. On 3/26/26, I received a generic email stating that my Brahmaki piece is on its way! No dress detail size or information, no sender or recipient information, no tracking number, nothing other than how to care for their fabrics! I sent a follow up email on Monday asking if there is a tracking number and have not yet heard back. I was waiting for the explanation, options and how to move forward as stated in their original email. As I researched to inquire about the company location, I am not sure whether Brahmaki is in Bali or Sweden??
At this point, all I want is a prepaid return label to take this wrong dress back and refund my money in full! Clearly they are not willing to discuss their own error. If not, I will go through my bank and I will file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission regarding Brahmaki’s business practices. Responding to public negative reviews and ignoring consumer direct emails is not good customer service. I am trying to find out how to upload photos for this review.
I will never order from them again. BRAHMAKI ORDER #46121
UPDATE: My review was barely 2 hours old and I received an email from Brahmaki offering:
1. A replacement dress
2. A 50% refund and keep the product
3. A Return label for a refund
I wrote back and made it clear I want the label and a full refund! It makes them look even worse by sending the generic email on 3/26/26 stating that my dress was on the way? What was that??
Since the business has chosen to reply in the matter that was done, I am following through to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. One thing you don't do is play on words and make a situation appear to be something that is not. Let's be clear, the dress color that was sent was SAHARA SUNSET and I purchased ANCIENT LIGHT for those who want to do their own comparison!! I have plenty of photos for anyone who wants to see for themselves. Also, I made it clear that my girlfriend has the actual dress in the color I ordered and wanted so the dress I received was in no way near the color ANCIENT LIGHT! Furthermore, where were the swatches I requested weeks ago and ZERO reply to that request? Where was this explanation that you have given in this review weeks beforehand? As a result, I am sharing my experience with friends and family. Proceed with caution, they do not take responsibility for their errors should something go wrong on their behalf! I will take plenty of photos and a video as the dress is being shipped back!

Regarding the color concern, while we always do our best to ensure accuracy, sometimes color differences can occur due to photo editing, lighting, and individual screen settings, which may make the garment appear slightly different in person. Based on our review, the dress sent does match the color selected in your order, but we completely understand how it may not have looked the same to you, and we’re truly sorry for that disappointment 🙏
We also want to clarify the email you received on March 26th — this was an automated message sent once an order is marked as delivered, containing care and washing tips for our products. It does not mean that another dress was being shipped. We sincerely apologize for the confusion this may have caused 🤍

Super ensemble pantalon-kimono, très chic ! J’ai dû changer la couleur lors de la commande car le tissu était en rupture de stock, mais l’équipe a été très réactive et j’ai reçu mon colis dans les délais.
En revanche, je trouve que ça taille un peu petit : j’aurais dû prendre du M au lieu du S pour le kimono. À noter aussi qu’il y a environ 15 € de frais supplémentaires avec UPS avant de récupérer le colis.
Merci pour le chouchou en cadeau, c’est une belle attention ! Je recommande cette marque 👍

I am not someone who writes negative reviews lightly. As a business owner myself, I understand how damaging they can be. That said, my experience with Brahmaki has been an absolute nightmare, and I feel a responsibility to warn others.
I placed my order back in January. For months, I was repeatedly reassured it would ship until the moment I requested a cancellation, at which point it “magically” shipped. Red flag number one.
Let’s talk about transparency: Brahmaki presents itself on Instagram as a Swedish brand crafting garments in Bali. In reality, they are to be a dropship operation shipping from India. That is a significant misrepresentation to customers who are paying a premium based on that brand story.
What followed the supposed shipment was a saga of problems: a COD customs fee I was told I’d never have to pay (it’s stated on their own website that they cover customs), a lost package, conflicting stories about whether they use UPS or a third party shipper, a refund that was issued and then walked back, a promised reship that never arrived, and endless back and forth across email, Instagram DMs, WhatsApp, and a mysterious “director” who reached out but offered nothing of substance.
I spent hours, genuinely hours, chasing this company for a package that never came. Not once, but twice. The people answering emails are polite, but every response is a copy and paste non answer with zero accountability.
To anyone who received their order: lucky you. For the rest of us, this company has all the aesthetic of a premium brand and none of the follow through. Stay away.

After reviewing your case, we can confirm that your package encountered an issue during transit and was unfortunately lost while in shipment. We know how disappointing this is, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this caused 🙏
To clarify a few points: we ship internationally using our partner courier West Express, and once the parcel reaches the destination country, it is handed over to UPS for final delivery. During this handover and investigation process, there can sometimes be miscommunication, which we regret in your case.
Regarding customs, we do cover these fees; sometimes UPS may still issue a notification for payment once the package reaches the destination, but please know that as soon as we see such a notification, we immediately take care of and pay the customs fee on your behalf. We understand how frustrating and confusing this can be 😞
We’d also like to clarify that Brahmaki is indeed a Swedish brand, while our production office is based in Jaipur, India, where our garments are carefully made. We’re sorry if this wasn’t communicated clearly enough and appreciate you bringing this to our attention 🤍
Once the package was officially confirmed as lost following the UPS investigation, we immediately processed a full refund for your order. We truly regret that your experience with us did not reflect the level of care and service we aim to provide.

Not quite worth the cost
I really love the pattern of the kaftan and the fabric was so soft and luxurious feeling.
However, I have owned the kaftan, pants and tie top for a couple months now and a few things bother me:
- The pockets sit oddly in the robe and pants. They face neither forward nor back and create a bulge.
- The material easily snags. The waist band would be much better as a draw string than the elastic, I find it wants to ride up and is constricting.
- There are some parts of the kaftan that are also already fraying (mainly the belt tie).
Lovely outfit just wish for these details to really make it next level.
I will note that the packaging was beautiful and thoughtful. I received a scrunchy as a gift made from the same material and pattern as my kaftan.

Completely wrinkled
The clothes I ordered are quite expensive, and when I received them, the outer packaging looked very nice. However, inside the package the items were completely wrinkled. In my opinion, it is unacceptable for a customer to receive clothes in such a wrinkled condition. It does not create an impression of quality or of care for the customer and the products.

I ordered a kaftan with my measures and no extra charge was requested. Brahmaki kept me aware of every step of the process. It took a while, but my kaftan was as perfect as it was planned. The package was nice as well.

Never shipped my order! Beware!
I placed an order at the beginning of January- My item was out of stock but I was told it would ship late January/ early February at the latest. I have waited and waited, and it has never shipped. It is now 2 months from the date I ordered it. I don't need it anymore. I am trying to cancel the order for a refund. Totally unacceptable to be a month late on the latest promised shipping date!!!!
