Beste plek waar ik ooit terecht ben gekomen.

For Ianis, meeting Linda and Arjan means progress and the hope that we can do more with their help.
Each time Ianis has left with new things learned that have meant a lot in his recovery.Last year he learned to ride his bike again, this year he opened his hand and started to run again.Thanks for everything ! Glad to have met you and can't wait to see you again next year.

Our two-week experience at the Brain & Spine rehab clinic in Cyprus exceeded all expectations. Following a severe stroke, my husband had completed 18 months of traditional OT and PT in the U.S., which had led to measurable gains, but had left him seeking a way to jump-start his recovery. The out-of-the-box therapy methods devised by Arjan and Linda and the skill of the Cyprus clinician team–who were all fabulous people as well–enabled my husband to move all five digits on his lefthand for the first time, actively move his ankle, routinely walk without a mobility aid, improve his balance, etc. We believe Arjan and Linda are developing a breakthrough in stroke rehabilitation therapy techniques. In addition, the two-week stay enabled both stroke survivors and their spouses to spend valuable time together sharing our journeys while also learning from one another. We are already planning a return trip to Cyprus in 2025.

I had a massive stroke in feb of 2023. And I read every book I could find but non of them were as relatable as Stroke Rebel. I attended the April 2024 recovery vacation in Cyprus and Wow what an amazing experience. If all rehab was conducted like they do here it would be less daunting to recover from a stroke. Everyone is so kind and positive and you are treated like a person instead of a patient. I would highly recommend attending a recovery vacation if you or a loved one has had a stroke. You learn so much about the brain and the recovery and Linda and Arjan are just absolutely amazing people!

Unique and amazing rehab programme

I have recently returned from the two-week rehab programme in Cyprus accompanied by my wife. This was a return visit having attended the programme in April 2023.

I had a stroke in January 2021 which resulted in significant left side weakness and loss of motor function in both arm and leg.

This two-week programme which Arjan and Linda run is truly unique and amazing. They are really wonderful people and a great team together. The daily programme of 6 hours therapy per day for 12 days has a common theme for each participant but their skill and expertise is how that programme is refined to meet the varying needs of the patients so everyone has tasks and activities which challenge, but do not overwhelm, any individual.

Most stroke patients will have spent hours in hospitals, clinics and seen more people in white coats or medical uniforms than they would ever wish. This programme is different. The programme is run from a private villa set overlooking the sea which is therapeutic in itself. All the therapists are casually dressed and (subject to weather) around 75% of the sessions are held outside. At every session each patient has at least a 1 to 1 therapist and where 2 on 1 assistance is needed this is all seamlessly organised. On the surface everything appears low key but the therapy, the changeover timings between activities etc works like a well oiled machine.

The quality of the programme, the care and attention and the refinement to individual needs in my experience make this programme unique.

Each participant returns home with a personalised rehab programme to put into practice will help to continue the improvements and progress made whilst on the programme.

Highly recommended to anyone on a post stroke rehab journey - at whatever point you are on that journey.

Al sinds ik klein was ben ik heel erg geholpen.

Hij heeft ons enorm met onze dochter geholpen. Vooral de rust is een enorme plus en goede uitleg.

Ik kwam bij Arjan met pijn in mijn rug en bekken na een harde val plat op mijn rug. Na analyse kon Arjan geen volledig herstel beloven, maar hij kon mijn blessures zeker verbeteren, zei hij. Nu – ongeveer vier maanden later – zijn niet alleen de blessures van mijn val vele malen verbeterd, maar is ook pijn die ik al jaren vóór mijn val had en die ik als normaal was gaan beschouwen, verdwenen. Ik heb weer bewegingsvrijheid en dat is een verademing! Ik weet niet of chiropractie voor iedereen werkt, maar als je twijfelt, geef het een kans! Ik was eerst ook sceptisch, maar nu ben ik 100% overtuigd!

Top! Mensgericht, daadkrachtig en met een positieve resultaat. De moeite waard om hier na toe te rijden iedere keer (ruim een uur heen en een uur terug). Een echte aanbeveling.

Er werd heel duidelijk uitgelegd wat de behandeling inhield, met als uitkomst een heel andere prognose dan ik daarvoor van andere heb gehoord.. Kijk zeer vooruit naar de volgende behandelingen

Duidelijk uitleg van doel bij oefeningen, aandacht voor de persoon, ook wat er psychisch gebeurt bij het hebben van hersenletsel.

Arjan is geweldig! Vakman en een mens!

Ik kom al bij Arjan Kuipers sinds de jaren '90 omdat ik soms rugklachten heb. Altijd helpt hij me deskundig en opgewekt.
Mijn echtgenote is door Arjan uitstekend geholpen in een vergevorderd stadium van longkanker. Zijn behandelingen brachten verlichting doordat hij de tumor meer ruimte gaf. Zijn persoonlijke en betrokken omgang is een doorlopende steun.

Intake gesprek gehad
Goede voorlichting, klantvriendelijk.
Over de behandeling kan ik nog niets zeggen. Momenteel wacht/kijk ik uit naar het advies/voorstel voor de behandeling.
Heb alle vertrouwen in het uiteindelijke goede resultaat.

Kundig, vlot, reëel

Ik ben nog maar pas in behandeling en de manier van behandeling tot nu toe is prima.
