Same issue as others here

Same issue as others here, paid USD1 for a test and was charged for 29.99 a few days later, even without agreeing to any subscription whatsoever. Already sent an email asking for cancellation and prompt refund.

Got an ad from them and mistaked it for


Got an ad from them and mistaked it for something else. I paid 1$ for the test results ONLY and they signed me up for a subscription without my consent. The second after that 1$ payment it said something about me getting a subscription so i tried to find a place on the app where i could unsubscribe before i got charged but it didnt exist. Couple days later i wake up to see that i got charged 30$.

Took the test

Took the test, and it cost 1 USD, my bank has had more than 100NZD taken out on different transactions. I never asked for a subscription. I would like a refund.

Hi, i got paid more than what i expected


I paid 1£ and now it took from me 30£, i want to cancel the subscription and if you can give me a refund then please help. Please cancel the subscription even if i didn’t reply back if you send me an email.

I like the test, the payment is the problem, subscription in particular.

The subscripiton cancel is sketchy. I sent an email after i paid for a 1€ seven day free trial. After reading some reviews im scared that i will be charged more than the 1€ I paid.

I would like to request the Brainsmate team to cancel my subscription and not charge anything in the future, except for this 1€ I have paid.

I would kindly advise the site to make subscription canceling easier.

This is a con

This is a con - do not go anywhere near it. The worst kind of hooking scam I’ve ever seen - typical pay for one test idea, ok fine I’ll cancel my subscription but no even after I’ve done that they still charged me £30 pounds. The reply below is absolutely false once you request a cancellation for a subscription prior to the date on which the subscription actually starts - any company is legally obliged to cancel the subscription otherwise they are in breach of consumer rights - not send you another email asking you to verify.

As far as I can see, we immediately sent you an email once we received your subscription cancellation request.
Unfortunately, we have not received any reply from you, so we were unable to finalize the cancellation.

By purchasing a subscription, you expressly authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the end of each billing period for the subscription price shown at checkout, until you cancel. Unfortunately, the subscription wasn't canceled in a timely manner, so it was automatically extended to the monthly package.

As we can see, you have already contacted our support team and a full refund has been issued to you.
Also, your subscription has been canceled and you will not be charged again.

We value our users and hope we were able to resolve your issue.

Money was recently stolen from my


Money was recently stolen from my account resulting in $29.99. I have the proof and have contacted chime representatives to discuss this matter so I can dispute. This is very VERY unprofessional and heartbreaking as to that money was to go towards Fathers day.

Upon reviewing our system, the $29.99 charge was an automatic renewal for the subscription that began with a trial on June 4, 2026. Please note that the subscription terms, including the recurring charges and auto-renewal policies, are explicitly presented on the checkout page. By completing the initial transaction, you acknowledged and agreed to these rules.

Because the subscription was unfortunately not canceled before the trial period expired, the system automatically processed the payment for the next billing cycle.

To prevent any future billing, we have already canceled your active subscription. You will not be charged again, and you may continue to use all premium features until the end of your current paid period.
