Helpful and friendly staff, easy to use website, well serviced equipment

The process on the phone was a bit tedious, but the guys on the counter were brilliant, I hired a 14” concrete saw, the Huskavarna saw has a safety feature that prevents it working at an angle, the back room staff are totally unaware of this as expected, if they had put me through to the fitter or the counter staff the problem would have been resolved without a 11/2 hour round trip, by the time I got back my ground worker had buggered off and it was pissing down the following morning, the kit wes ok apart from the above, and the guys on the counter were great.

Easy to book and pay for the equipment we wanted to hire - a carpet cleaner. Staff were friendly and gave excellent instructions on using the cleaner. Would be my first go-to place for hiring any other equipment needed in my home.

Prompt and great service with a quality stump grinding machine

Hired a roofers blow torch. it was quick & easy ordering online with trouble free pick-up at the Derby branch, also easy to extend the hire period part way through the hire.
The staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful.

Wrong stuff delivered. Not all on the same day. Never got what i actually hired. Hired 20 trestles many all different types with different height settings. Many buckled or seized. Tbf 1 delivery driver tried his best and drove accross town to try to rectify an issue. But they didnt have what i had requested.
Upon off hiring. Collection of the gear was almost 2 weeks late. So it was in the way constantly for 2 weeks then took 3 attempts to collect. 1 guy took a handful of trestles and left the rest. The 2nd guy came and said it was too muddy outside to collect. Then the 3rd guy. Actually came and took the lot which turned out to be the original guy who drove accross town to look for the correct equipment. So again props to him
But everyone else there 1* for piss poor organisation and leaving me burdened with gear for twice aslong as i hired it.

I got to borrow a tool which I never would have been able to afford for a one off job.

The person serving me in Derby was information, friendly and really helpful. Definitely an asset to the company, I didn't catch his name! However the service was spot on.

I rented a grinder on the website, but encountered difficulties in using it. I went to Derby and they told me that the rented equipment was not suitable for me. They recommended me to rent another one. I followed the professional advice. In the end, my work was completed perfectly. I really appreciate the help given by the staff of Derby. You made me feel enthusiastic, positive and professional. I will choose you again when renting equipment in the future.

Hired two Genie Lifts, the customer service along with the equipment was excellent
The driver went above and beyond what was asked for and helped me get the equipment where it was needed rather than just drop it off
he even came back the following day just to check everything was working as it should

Had 2 orders, both came a day late, then they collected the first one a day late and I wasn't home when they turned up ( waiting in all day for them to turn up to collect ) and then they tried to collect the 2nd order about 15 days early, just turned up at the house asking for it, now they sre currently 4 days behind collecting the 2nd order from the agreed collection date

Would have been 5 stars, but struggled to get tower collected at end of hire period. Otherwise competitively price and decent quality tower.
