Hired some trestles and planks from this firm good quality gear and came on time.

Point blanked refused to help me lift wacker plate in the back of my car. Watched me struggle and could see the staff smiling behind the counter. There were 2 staff who could have helped but left me to lift on my own.

Information supplied on machine and collection arrangements were all accurate.
Machine did exactly what is was asked to do. Staff friendly and helpful.

I find it far easier to rent say, a wheelbarrow or mitre saw for three or four days for a one off job rather than buying same and leaving it unused for months/years on end taking up garage space.
I chose Brandon because it was one of the three or four hire firms in my general area (Grimsby), but the only one to have consistently good reviews.
The hire process is slick and easily completed online, and the items are ready for pickup on arrival, returning them is a breeze also. I always choose pickup, as I have a van, but delivery and pickup is always available for a fee.
I have used them now on multiple occasions and I'm happy to leave a positive review. Be aware though that just pitching up to a Brandon station out of the blue to hire something will probably require some sort of deposit, whilst setting up an account and hiring online is painless. Use Brandon Hire with confidence.

Hired a Gantry from these guys on very short notice for a customer, and the service was absolutely amazing. Nothing was to much trouble, response time was spectacular and Sarah and Shane who I dealt with were a delight. Would not hesitate to use them for our business again at all. Would highly recommend.

Hire of concrete breaker, chisels and transformer. Staff friendly and helpful. Online communications good. Received equipment, first issue was the breaker was too big heavy and bulky I had used a smaller breaker from Brandons previously and much better sized for the task in hand. Secondly the breaker was supplied with wrong sized chisels, so my first use of the breaker was very difficult as chisels were dropping out while trying to contend with a very heavy machine. This was remedied when making enquiries and taking back to the hire station where the fitter had recognised the issue immediately. New right size chisel were provided.

Initially hired some Sanders for the weekend, which ended up not working all that great. These things happen, slight hiccups happen, though was a tad worried that we was going to encounter difficulties in refunds or rebooking. Not the case at all, after a quick chat we was given a full refund and the next weekend we had free we tried hiring the Sanders again. EVERYTHING worked spot on.

Both the lady and chap behind the counter was super helpful and polite. Brilliant service, will use again without hesitation. This review should only give you more confidence in using GY Brandon Hire!!!

I hired two dehumidifiers from the Grimsby branch for two days (Order No.540005473). When they were plugged in it tripped the breakers. New breakers were delivered which still tripped. I arranged for the branch to collect a day early because they were of no use. I was still charged the full amount. I explained to the manager I had recently had a full electrical test on the house and there was no issue with the house electrics and it was their units that were tripping and not the house electrics. I asked if there was a compromise on the hire cost as neither party could definitely say were the problem was. I was told no. I rang customer service who transferred me back to the branch to be told again, nothing would be done. Rang customer services again who transferred me back to branch, and guess what? I was told nothing could be done. I was then told by the branch they would not refund any money as I had paid a lower price in the first place. Its irrelevant what I paid if I cant get it to work.
