The app crashes on a brand-new MacBook Air M3, when you click on links, they don't work. Your app is a disasterI dont recommend !

What a bug infested piece of crap. Don't try to converse with their own AI using their own software because it won't work you have to do everything twice you have to copy and paste it two times and that's after reloading the page three times because the stupid send button disappears a bunch of garbage this app is bug riddled crap.

I've used Brave for a few years, and set it as my default about a year ago. For good security, I've accepted as a worthwhile tradeoff what many commenters have raised as issues. (And in any case, those shortcomings have slowly improved anyway - and are likely to get better.) What bugs me, and seems to have gotten worse is the lagging on my Mac desktop, especially on start up. I've confronted unacceptably long waits Brave to open, to the point that my "CleanMyMac" app which monitors start ups warns me EVERY TIME that the browser seems to have hung up, and asked if I want to close it. If I say "ignore", it eventually opens. I've tried all sorts of options to "tweek" Brave's settings and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. But the problem remains. So I've decided to stop using it for a few months in the hope that it will improve.

Every once in a while this web browser asks something like "if I am a human and not a robot". After I answer it then states something like "letting you in," like it is mimicking the doctor in The Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 6. Very annoying. I prefer my software not to mimick my entertainment.

After extended use, following an update, EVERYTHING got reset — all my user data, passwords, and bookmarks were deleted. That was about a year ago. I gave this browser a second chance, only for it to DELETE EVERYTHING AGAIN after two months of use. I lost everything I had saved during that time. I will never come back to it again.

me cambie de google a brave browser, y el cambio se nota demasiado, esta muchisimo mejor optimizado que google, muchisima mas seguridad, es simplemente impresionante, se que parece que soy un bot o lo que sea, jurao que no que brave es lo mejor y no me pagan por decir esto, cambiate a brave 100%

El peor navegador que he usado... cada poco pierde completamente la configuración, pierde los bookmarks, los perfiles los usuarios las contraseñas, todo... ya no se cuantas veces he tenido que empezar de cero. Debe ser tan seguro que ni se fia del propio usuario asi que se resetea por si acaso.
Adios y nunca más.

Ho provato quasi tutti i browser disponibili nella rete. Brave browser è stato in assoluto il piu' veloce ad aprirsi, per me molto importante. Ha battuto tutti quelli blasonati e famosissimi di molti secondi! Inoltre altro fatto per me importantissimi, toglie completamente, cosa fastidiosissima, tutti i messaggi pubblicitari inseriti durante la visione dei video su Youtube!! Brave il miglior browser per le mie esigenze. Credo proprio da oggi imn poi usero' solo questo. Inutile dire che lo consiglio vivamente!

Il reste encore quelques erreurs et les Brave Rewards c'est nul, ça fonctionne au bon vouloir de l'équipe et sans explication cohérentes. Très déçut.

To the Brave Software Team,

I am writing this complaint with deep frustration regarding the unacceptable behavior of Brave Browser during a recent update. What I experienced is not just a bug — it is a direct violation of user trust and digital autonomy.

Here is what happened without my consent:

1. FORCED SEARCH ENGINE CHANGE
My default search engine was automatically changed to Brave Search without my permission. I never authorized this change. A browser that claims to respect user privacy and freedom should NEVER silently override user preferences. This is manipulative behavior disguised as a "feature."

2. REMOVAL OF SEARCH ENGINE OPTIONS
After the update, my list of available search engines was drastically reduced to only two options — Brave Search and Google. Previously, I had access to multiple search engines including DuckDuckGo. Limiting user choices to push your own product is anti-competitive and anti-user. This is exactly the kind of Big Tech behavior Brave claims to fight against.

3. COMPLETE LOSS OF SAVED PASSWORDS
All of my saved passwords were wiped out after the update. This is a critical data loss issue. I had sensitive login credentials for multiple platforms including banking, social media, and productivity tools. Losing this data has caused real inconvenience and forced me to go through painful account recovery processes.

4. FORCED LOGOUT FROM ALL WEBSITES
I was logged out of every website I was signed into. Again — without any warning, without any consent dialog, without any backup option offered.

This is NOT acceptable behavior from a browser that markets itself as "privacy-first" and "user-first." You are doing exactly what you claim to stand against — taking control away from users silently.

Brave has a history of controversies — the 2020 affiliate link scandal where you injected your own commission links without user consent, and now this. It seems like a pattern of prioritizing Brave's business interests over user rights.

My demands are simple:
• Immediately stop auto-changing default search engines during updates.
• Restore the full list of search engine options for all users.
• Provide a proper data backup/warning mechanism before any update that modifies user data.
• Issue a public acknowledgment and apology for this update's behavior.

I have already shared my experience on public review platforms and community forums. I urge Brave to take this seriously — not just as a bug report, but as a trust issue.

Specifically about their ai. Lies about the majority of things I ask it. Very dangerous to allow it to spread the lies it consistently does.

SO unfortunate you have the potential to be have such a better product. Please update that thing!

This isnt blocking ANY fingerprinting. Simply check it yourself between tabs and sessions your fingerprint shows the same lol what is this garbage

Korzystam z Brave raczej sporadycznie, głównie testowo i przy konkretnych projektach, ale muszę przyznać, że robi bardzo dobre wrażenie. Przeglądarka jest szybka, intuicyjna i faktycznie dba o prywatność – blokowanie reklam i trackerów działa od razu, bez potrzeby instalowania dodatkowych rozszerzeń. Widać też, że z wersji na wersję pojawia się coraz więcej dopracowanych funkcji.

Z minusów – zdarzały mi się pojedyncze problemy z wyświetlaniem niektórych stron czy kompatybilnością wybranych narzędzi, ale nie są to rzeczy, które realnie przeszkadzają w pracy. Część funkcji (np. krypto) nie jest dla każdego, ale można je po prostu pominąć.

Ogólnie bardzo solidny projekt i widać stały progres. 5 gwiazdek, bo kierunek rozwoju i jakość wykonania zdecydowanie na to zasługują.

Youtube rame comme pas possible, la lecture automatique en arrière plan de fonctionne plus sur Android. Impossible de regarder la TV en live sur PC, le site de mon opérateur n'est pas pris en charge. Et je ne parle même pas des résultats de recherche ou de Léo l'IA de Brave. Ce navigateur était prometteur, aujourd0hui, c'est juste une grosse daube. RIP Brave

EXELLENT MOTEUR BRAVE régler un très gros problème que j ai avec Outlook et Microsoft comme bien des gens. Mon abonnement a office a fini en décembre et depuis je riecois de 20 a 30 pub/jour qu' on ne peut pas arrêter même si 5 tech de support Microsoft on tenter de régler en vain. MAIS BRAVE PAS DE PUB QUE MES COURRIEL et même a 80 ans je l ai installer facilement.

Empece instalandolo con desconfianza, y ahora lo tengo como predeterminado, bloquea anuncios y no manda tanta información por Internet.
Y la navegacion de incognito con Tor es un acierto.
Tiene privacidad y bloquea anuncios.
Yo lo recomiendo.

Ich suchte einen Browser der mich vor überkommerz und permanent Bettelgesuche von Internet Seiten beschützt merklich sind einige Banner weniger aufgetreten von Anonymität habe ich nichts gemerkt Dinge die ich am PC anschaute wurden mir verkaufsbanner auf dem Handy gezeigt Fazit Anonymität= so und Cookies und betraypaywalls werden nicht geblockt ich nutze brave ca einen Monat ich teste noch ne Woche aber begeistert bin ich nicht

Brave is an average browser, for me as a consumer, the ad blocking and other schticks is nice, but besides that it's just every other browser, their search engine is utter garbage, it's worse than Bing... food for thought.
The browser is less glitchy and faster than google which is nice...
But overall, it's basically just a browser that's gimmick is ad blocking.
