I am really happy with the service received at Mira's Tailoring; I had bought a dress to wear at my friend's wedding and though I liked it a lot, it did not fit me well, the shoulders seem to not fit, the cleavage was way too deep and also it was very long. It seemed too tight in places were it should have been loose and looser where it should have been tighter. Mirella was very nice and she did all the right alterations for me, she was very patient and she put up with a lot my fussing about, the end result was worth the price. I wore my dress at the wedding feeling I was one of the best dressed ladies there. I highly recommend Mira's Tailoring.

We have just had two bridesmaid dresses altered at miras and we had an amazing experience throughout! My daughter is only 12 and her dress needed taken in considerably and it now looks amazing! We even came to pick our dresses up to them being steamed to perfection and on hangers we got to take home. Mira & her husband are incredibly lovely & welcoming. The best part is getting to say hi to their lovely dog Bruno!!

We are so delighted with our dresses, and will be back for any future alterations. I would highly recommend Mira's!

We had the most wonderful experience at Mira’s Tailoring with my daughter’s wedding dress and my Mother of the Bride dress. Both dresses were altered beautifully and fitted perfectly. Mira did an amazing job and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.

Absolutely fantastic service from Mira’s Tailoring. Mira is incredibly skilled and really knows how to make a garment fit properly while still keeping the original style and shape.

The whole experience was professional, friendly and reassuring from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, the price was agreed beforehand, and the finished alterations were beautiful.

You can really see the years of experience and attention to detail that go into the work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mira’s Tailoring, especially for bridal and occasion wear. Definitely 5 stars!

For my wedding dress, Mirella did the length and the sleeves really well. The shoulders weren't holding, so at the last minute she had to attach a string and said to me not to worry because my hair would covere it. Well, let's say that it's not ideal that I have to 'cover' it after paying almost £400 of tailoring.
Anyway, my fiancée had a much worse experience than me. She went twice to get her dress fitted by Mirella. Each time, after leaving the shop, she was sad, and I knew something wasn't right from the start. After the changes which Mirella recommended, her dress was unwearable, the plangingV neck was much lower than how it was before (and it doesn't look great), and there was a big gap between the dress and her bust. Mirella told her if she could stand up straight with her back at all time ,that wouldn't be a problem. Really? All day stay straight, don't bend or turn or breath, otherwise her breasts will be revealed (Imagine if that happened at the church). The work done was really sloppy, and now there is also a hole at the front.
If you have a small chest, don't go there! My fiancée's dress was RUINED after being at Mira's tailoring and she had to buy another dress 3 weeks before the wedding and find another tailor. It has been the worst nightmare for a bride to be.
Mirella takes zero responsibility and refuses to refund her the money, instead blaming my partn for trusting her as a 'professional'. Mirella also said she has CCTV video footage, while we were not aware of a camera in the shop. Only after we complained she offered to sew some cups in the dress. Well, that is the first thing she should have done in this case.
When you are trying on your wedding dress is a magical moment, you think about your big day, you look like a princess and how lucky you are. It's hard to notice things that are no quite right, also because you trust the tailor. Be sure of what your dress needs and things that are not quite perfect before you pay. A few people recommended this shop for bridal alterations and I am so glad I listened to them. Firstly, booking was super easy through an online system, I like that they have this option rather than having to call in to schedule a visit. When I arrived at the shop I was welcomed by the very friendly staff - they even helped me bring the dress from the car. The appointment went smoothly, with Mira helping me try on the dress, making recommendations for alterations while also carefully listening to my requests. She also gave me advice for walking in the dress, holding the bouquet etc which I totally appreciated. The honesty and warmth I received totally made this a special visit and I'm confident the dress will turn out perfect!

I bought my wedding dress while I was pregnant, so it was a UK size 16, but by the time my wedding came around I was back to a UK size 8. I genuinely didn’t think it would be possible to alter it so much, but she worked absolute magic and made it fit perfectly.

Not only did she alter my wedding dress, but she also altered several other dresses for wedding events, all completed so quickly and professionally. Every dress fitted beautifully and the attention to detail was amazing.

The whole process was completely stress-free, and I always felt confident that everything was in safe hands. She was friendly, reliable, and incredibly talented.

Mira saw me very last minute as I had been sorely let down by a different tailor who had made a complete mess of my bridesmaid dress.
