The worst moving company ever !!!!! They gave me an estimate and my actually cost was double and every time I said that was included in my quote they just added something else. I booked with them because they promised my delivery would be Monday and it was Tuesday night and we were leaving town early Wednesday morning . We put together everything except one item . They left their garbage behind - empty tape rolls and straps . It was rainy upon delivery and they tracked dirt in on the carpets that were just cleaned. First time using a moving company and probably the last time. They called several days before the scheduled move confirming the dates and making sure everything was good to go and assuring me a smooth move. Texted that gentleman when things went wrong no answer. Called another person from the company and basically get a run around. Moved a one bedroom apartment stayed within the items listed and less than the boxes allowed and charged me a ridiculous amount . The moral of the story they have your stuff - you pay or don’t get your stuff. They really should not be able to treat people like that. Moving is stressful and they made it 10000000 times worse 😞😞😞😞😞

Terrible company to work with!
Misleading quotes, surprise up charges, farmed out my move to a company without my knowledge, horrible communication and they don't answer their calls unless you are needing to book a mover.
I have been waiting for my claim reimbursement check for 4 months since the approval for damages.

This company shouldn't be allowed to operate or serve the public at all. I'm a retired combat Veteran and a broker set me up with them and then within less than 24 hours after someone pointing their reviews out to me, I emailed the broker/coordinator assigned to me that I wanted a refund of my deposit of 1237.00 and he purposely didn't respond for 24 hours because the Bridgeview said I only had 24 hours to obtain a refund and never did anyone provide me the portal to complete their refund and after numerous calls, they think they can keep it without even moving me. This company should be put out of business for fraud. Do not do business with them. I'd like to get others like myself together and sue them.

Last year i set up a move from Az to Colorado with my partner. We were just looking for rates really but Robert insisted that we “just do it now” and “lock in our rate”. Long story short we should’ve never trusted him. Now our move date is coming up but due to a family issue we are deciding to stay and could actually use the money ($1260) we had put to this move that’s not going to be able to happen. I’ve called multiple times, texted, and emailed I haven't gotten a response yet. Robert gave me his email and phone number and the email says it doesn’t exist now. It’s very frustrating, why have a business meant for helping if you’re going to help??? However if they do still come by in July I’m not too sure what to say or do since I’m not getting any kind of reply from this company. One star could not be low enough.

they are a scam, dont ever hire them. mitch and brian thompson lied on their position blocked me and never replied now they dont approve my claim. they lie on the time frame my things were arriving, they damaged everything and lost a lot of my stuff! dont ever hire them, im taking legal action on them

While transporting our fragile items the professional packers from this moving company were very careful!

These men were more careful with my belongings then I am. My new furniture was assembled with their assistance.

DON'T WALK... RUN FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!! On 11/13/2023 gave a $760 deposit on an order and cancelled the same day. I've emailed no less than 10 times and called no less than 25 times and have been told on several occasions, "your refund is being processed" and "you will have it back on your card in 10 days at the latest. 6 MONTHS LATER I still have no refund and now I just get put on hold.

During my recent move I hired labor team from Bridgeview Van and they efficiently handled everything with utmost care! Thanks to the entire team.

I had a great experience with their international moving business; they surpassed my every anticipation. Their service, beginning to end, was outstanding. Everything went smoothly, and I appreciate the quick delivery of my stuff.

Mike and his hardworking crew of movers set a fine example. Everything about the move was pleasant because to their cautious handling of our possessions during loading and unloading.

Jack and his coworker moved up quickly and efficiently from one flat to another. We will continue to use their services whenever we relocate because of how reasonable and convenient they are. They come with our highest recommendation.

Our most recent interaction with this organization was fantastic. They were affordable, worked within our constraints, and were flexible enough to help us relocate at the last minute. Throughout the day, their movers were really productive and kind, turning what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one.

What a great service supplied by this firm! They made it simple for us to ship furniture to our daughter who lives in a different state. They were helpful in arranging shipping procedures, and the movers were careful and efficient in loading and transporting our belongings.

My wife and I used this firm for our interstate relocation, and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. There was no damage to any of the items, and it left us speechless. If you're looking for a careful and dependable moving company, you should use them.

Rip offs. They did not ship on time nor do they respond to calls/texts.
Two men loaded but only one man arrived to unload. He rolled items and destroyed the dresser!
Oh hand the quote they gave was too good to be true. It nearly doubled. This was done after items were loaded onto truck which was the size of a small Uhaul. Terrible company with terrible customer service.

all the 5 stars reviews are fake. Made up with generic language, avoiding any detail on an actual performed job. All junk. They are thieves, scammers who take advantage of the business to rip you off. They quoted me quite below average, and it already had to be a red flag. Upon pickup date, they said I had more stuff than estimate and almost doubled my quote from $2,400 to $4,000. Also, they promised 6 months free storage, only to find out later they charged me $99/mo. The worst thing is that an electric bike, a grill and a paddle board were missing at delivery. Most likely stolen by their crew. All the rest of the item arrived damaged: most of the boxes were either beat up or soaking wet, the bed headboard was rotten after being stored in a flooded unit probably, and most of the glasses were broken. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST, THEY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS

Unfortunately I fell for this scam run by two “moving” companies, currently using the names Exclusive Van Lines and Bridgeview Van Lines. These people are thieves who use the moving industry as their method of theft. Based on a FaceTime walk though of all the things in my apartment to be moved, they quoted me a price of $2,900 for an intercity move, somewhat less than what other companies quoted, but not a lot less. Though my lease was ending, they wouldn’t give me a date for when they would do the move until a few days before. However as those days came and went I kept calling them, they kept promising me to call me back within a specific time, and they never did. With just a couple days left and no response from them, I was forced to scramble to look for last minute alternates.

They did finally show up with one day left. I was so relived they actually came, and really had no alternatives, so that when they announced that even though I had 10% FEWER boxes than they estimated, they were going to charge me a total of $6,170, more than double what they had quoted me (and a lot more than any other moving company I had talked to months before). At this point I had no alternative, so I agreed.

When they arrived at the moving destination, they demanded that before opening the truck and letting me even see my belongs that: a) I sign a document saying that I had already received all my belongings, and that they were all in good condition, b) I pay the remaining balance of $1,270 in cash, and c) that I pay them an additional $500 in cash for what they said was a long hallway (it was less than 50 feet, and they knew all along that this was going into a big apartment building). They made it very clear that they were holding my belongs hostage until I did all these things, and if I didn’t do them, I’d never see any of my belongs again. The movers put me on the phone with their boss in the Bronx, who in full Mafia style was really threatening and nasty, and dared me to call the police, and told his men to just drive away.

In order to get my belongings, I had to do everything they said. My boxes were beat-up, with the fragile arrows upside-down, etc. There weren’t even box numbers or my name on anything – and so I didn’t get all my stuff (though they did give me a TV that wasn’t mine, which I had them take back – but it isn’t going to do its owner any good, since the screen was smashed in). And needless to say, several things of mine that I did get were broken. All in all, $900 of my possessions were lost or broken, and the “insurance policy” that they claimed to have offered me a total of less than $150 to compensate for everything they had lost or broken.

So I paid $6,670 for a job with a guaranteed price of $2,970 and the worst moving experience of my life – these people intentionally underquote to lure people in, and then hold your belongs hostage as they extort you for way more than you’d ever pay for any other mover. I have reached out to the district attorney’s offices of my old and new home to see if there’s any way to criminally prosecute these people for fraud, or at least put them out of business.

P.S. If you look at their online reviews you’ll see other people with similar experiences – but you’ll also see many good reviews – which I’m pretty sure are fake reviews they’ve done on themselves.

This company took advantage of and ripped off my elderly parents. I wish I had read all of the other one-star reviews before using Bridgeview, as they apparently practice this sort of manipulation on everyone who hires them. My parents had some belongings that they simply wanted to ship cross-country as they are preparing to live closer to home. The first customer service person quoted one price that we agreed to. Then we had to speak to a “Quality Assurance” (LOL) person who raised the original quote and made us add on to our deposit, but “guaranteed” us that we would get a discount on pickup and drop off, because he was reserving us way more square-footage than my parents’ belongings would take up. I should have stopped the process right there, but these nice-sounding, smooth-talking customer service people assured me that we wouldn’t pay higher than our quote, and that we would most certainly pay less. When the items were picked up, the drivers were to collect half of the remaining balance of what were were told we would owe. The “quality assurance” man gave us a worst-case scenario of what we would owe at that time, and again assured us that it would be lower based on our list of items to ship. Unfortunately, my elderly father was the only one there at pick-up (I was to be on the receiving end), and the driver fast-talked and manipulated him into thinking he had to pay a couple hundred MORE than the original quote. AND my dad opted to NOT ship some of the items on the original list from when the square footage was calculated. So, then, once the items arrived for delivery, we had to pay the same amount that they talked my father into in order to finish the delivery. And now nobody at Bridgview Van Lines will answer my emails or inquiries. They originally told me they were waiting for a bill of lading from the trucking company, who, by the way, refused to leave any receipts or copies of any paperwork at either pick up or drop off. (Who does that?) Now they are completely ghosting me. DO NOT USE BRIDGEVIEW VAN LINES!

WORST company ever! Paid over $31k to them and their affiliate Blue Lion Moving and Storage and my HHG are now-where to be found. customer service does not return calls nor does management from either company. Do NOT use either of these companies!!!
