Me and my mother started on the lions Maine and within 3 days we was noticing less brain fog and able to remember things a lot more, we was using it for a month and we ran out for a few days before getting some more and we could tell the difference from not having our morning ritual with it.

We also had the cordyceps, before it got banned and that was helping me not have a nap during the day and feeling more productive.

I do tell everyone I know about them and how it helped us but I do know everyone is different so be persistence with it.

Serious cognitive side effects. Proceed with caution.

I should probably preface this review by stating that i am a high-functioning AuDHD individual.

Whilst i did experience cognitive boosting effects of this product, it also produced severe anxiety bordering on panic. The effects appeared when i started using it, and disappeared about a week after stopping.
After searching for more information, i found that i'm not alone. It was serious enough to book a visit to my GP. Be careful.

Lovely people, good customer service, interesting products, would be 5stars but I’m not 100% convinced how efficacious the products are. Still waiting to see a marked difference. I will update when this becomes more obvious.

If you are thinking of ordering go direct to BF they know what there talking about & you get more for your money& higher strenght products - Tinctures are working a treat, couldn't be happier !! Wonderful customer service. They were so friendly, kind and helpful, responding to my emails the same day, when a mistake in my order happened (seems with a glitch from my end on the website). 2 packages were sent to me Instead of one, and a fancy mushroom chocolate bar for the initial thought inconvenience. They never charged me for the second package and so kindly said I could keep it and enjoy. (This was 2 whole tinctures!)
They have now received a long term customer. I've been using their tinctures a couple of weeks now, and feel in particular the Lions mane is giving me such a relief with new mental clarity. The products are so beautiful and after doing lots of research beforehand, it seems Bristol Fungarium have the most potent mushrooms around. Thank you so much

After trying every supplement known to man to help my 2 year long battle with post viral fatigue syndrome/CFS/ME, I tried Bristol Fungarium’s lions mane extract. Despite my skepticism (given I’ve tried everything else to try and recover!) the extract has been the only thing that’s helped my symptoms - worth a shot for all those with CFS/ME/ Long covid! Plus they are a great company to deal with and have quick delivery.

Since taking lions mane tincture my mind feels like it’s had a spring clean- like someone’s wiped away the dust and everything seems much clearer- I can see things from a different angle than I did before.
I can make better decisions, feel more instinctive and more creative.
No side effects at all it just helps me feel calmer, more present and life seems to run a little smoother.
I very highly recommend all tinctures from Bristol Fungarium. The very best quality you will find, the kindest people and worth every penny and more.

Massive fan of the Bristol Fungarium. Lovely people and excellent products - it's comforting knowing that what I'm taking is all grown here, cared for properly, not shipped halfway across the world etc. Their Reishi tincture has done wonders for my anxiety too. Really great stuff. Can't recommend them enough.

As has been mentioned in other reviews, the customer care is terrific. The guys know their stuff and really want to help and guide. It seems a high quality product too.

I tried their Cordyceps, Reishi and Lion's Mane tinctures.
It was my first experience with functional mushrooms and I wanted to make sure I bought somewhere trustworthy.

Unfortunately, neither of the 3 had absolutely any effect on me at all. Either I'm immune to mushrooms, or the tinctures are not concentrated enough.

I emailed them twice to ask for a certificate with third party testing, and I got no response at all. I will not buy again.

Edit: Just to say that the team did get back to me and provided testing of bacteria in the products (there's none), and explained that tinctures are complicated and expensive to test in reliable ways, but they are working to get testing in the future. They also offered me some advice and compensatory chocolate. I never tried other brands so I have no comparisons to make regarding my experience with their products, but adding back one star for the communication.

Excellent at providing information if you need advice, genuinly care about their customers and are passionate about their products. Been going through a tough time over the past year with stressful life events which caused ME/ Fibromyalgia/ migraines to worsen , I decided to try the lions mane first ...within the first 3 days it was like something switched back on in my brain and I was feeling clearer and was even compelled to go write some music after months of brain fog preventing me from doing so. I had also previously been getting dizziness at night which I think was a burn out symptom of stress and that stopped within the first few days of the lions mane, I then added their reishi and noticed I stopped worrying as much about stuff and my body wasn't over reacting to the external stresses like it previously did and I felt more calm and was sleeping well for the first time in years . I am so grateful to this company for helping me get my health back on track , I'd tried many other mushroom supplements over the years but this is the first time they've actually worked which shows the quality and potency is spot on. I'm now adding cordyceps into the regime and commiting to taking all 3 consistently for a few months as my energy is still a little low and I'm excited to see the results and feel even better . I have total trust and faith in the mushrooms from here .Thank you Bristol fungarium x

Update: I received an apologetic email, which felt honest and genuine, so I have amended my rating up from 2 stars to 3 stars accordingly.

The tinctures themselves are very good. The subscription experience and customer experience however was abysmal. I had an issue with my subscription, did not receive a reminder, could not change the delivery date when I first ordered the tinctures back in Oct '23.

So I phoned up when I received an email from DPD saying they had my parcel and the money had been taken from my card. The phone number was someone's personal mobile. I was confused and asked if this was Bristol Fungarium, and it turned out the person was on maternity leave and they hadn't updated the contact number. I asked for the number I should call so as not to interrupt their maternity leave, they said no they'd deal with it.

I explained the situation, said 'what are you doing?' They then proceeded to tell me that it was the customers' responsibility to manage their own subscriptions, that it was weird I was the "only one" not to get a reminder, that maybe I hadn't checked my Junk folder, that returning the tinctures and getting a refund "would be a faff", that they didn't appreciate the comment I made saying 'what are you doing?', and that their website was "[rude word]". This person was rude, condescending, and spoke to me like I was some kind of stupid working class trash. I emailed them, explained the experience much as I have done here, and said I would be returning the tinctures and would like a refund. Later in the day, I received an automated 'order cancelled and refund issued' email. I went to the website, and they had changed the phone number. Yet they didn't acknowledge my email at all. Not even a one-liner to say 'sorry you had a bad experience. We've issued a refund and updated the phone number.' That's all it would have taken. Making the changes, and yet being completely blanked while they did it was almost like being gaslighted. A kind of weird denial that anything negative had occurred.

I make it a point to support small businesses. But I won't support a business that is rude to customers, speaks to them as if they're intellectually deficient, provides a subscription service that doesn't work, and doesn't even acknowledge customers who contact them. The whole experience has left a very bitter taste (worse than the tinctures, which are actually quite nice and taste a bit like marmite). There are other UK small businesses providing mushroom tinctures out there, and that's where my support will be going.

The tinctures themselves are great, as is the packaging and whatnot. Very stylish. But I will never feel like a valued customer here. I guess I'm not the right sort.

I was highly sceptical about these tinctures helping me. I purchased the menopause support bundle. I have been experiencing, low mood, brain fog and fatigue to name a few perimenopausal symptoms. I’m delighted to say that, after a month of taking this bundle daily, I feel back to myself again. I am now a convert and regular customer.

i had very high blood pressure 2 weeks ago, i started to take the reishi extract amongst lions mane and chaga and my blood pressure has gone from 150/110 to 114/80.. astonished is an under statement.. definitley recommened this company.
