I started this course a few days ago and am putting in a few hours each night. I'm really enjoying it. I have quite a bad memory but I'm remembering these signs well which must be down to the teaching method and possibly my way of learning. Interestly, I really struggle with people talking at me or teaching me things in the traditional way. I'm a kinaesthetic learner ( and an introvert who doesn't like talking too much) and this just feels very natural. The guy who does the videos has a way of connecting with you even over the screen and radiates warmth and friendliness. I teach online everyday so I know this not something everyone can do. The course is well structured and often brings up signs you learnt in the first lessons to reinforce your learning.

Great beginners course with good content, easy to follow and well worth doing. The content gives you enough knowledge to feel confident in being able to sign and understand in day to day life. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

I bought this course around a week ago. I've never bought a course online before so I was a bit dubious but I'm so glad I did now. The course is organised really well and I've already learnt so much. It recommends to only do one lesson per week but in lockdown, there isn't much else to do so I've been going at my own rate and it seems to work fine like that. I'm really enjoying it. I would just say I'm more of a reader than a watcher so I found I've had to adjust to learning from videos instead of writing stuff down but the layout course supports me quite well through this. Before paying I did read one review saying the interface is confusing but I haven't found this an issue myself. overall: AMAZING

Brilliant course very easy to follow and engage with. The course comes in both Left and Right handed versions. Can't rate this highly enough. It has kept me busy during the lockdown and I can see myself using BSL (semi-confidently) in public if needed.

Outstanding course, this course has opened up new horizons for me. As I have a unique job which involves a lot of public interaction it will be nice to include those people with hearing problems with what I do.

I found this course via Twitter and I was instantly intrigued as I had always wanted to learn BSL. With the course being fully online and self-paced, it was easy for me to fit it around my final year classes for my degree. it was an exceptional course and Simon (the course tutor) provided brilliant materials to learn and test yourself. I could not recommend this course enough and I encourage everyone to learn BSL.

Excellent course! The videos are easy to follow and you can practise at your own pace.

This on-line course is brilliant! Could do it at my own pace, the course content and structure is really well thought out and the teacher was clear. So practical and useful.

great course, really worthwhile. You can go at your own pace and take the assessments mulitple times, which means you can always go back and check your knowledge.

practical and fab course can complete at your own speed and watch back the signs as many times as you require to learn them

Amazing course really worthwhile, I am very happy I had the opportunity to complete this course as part of my teacher training. Ready to be used in September for my NQT Year.

Absolutely Fantastic Online course.
I have always wanted to learn BSL and never got round to it until now.
Liam I have enjoyed my evening learning sessions, very clear and easy to follow demonstrations in the video clips.
There is No rush to learn everything and you go at your own pace and can go over each section as many times as you want to.
Good to have assessments at the end of each section and again these can be done as many times as you like.
Would highly recommend this course to anyone who is a total beginner.
Any chance you will be offering Level 2 in the future

It's inexpensive, you learn at your own pace and it's easy to use. What's not to like?
