i have been ordering from here for a bit, whole beef, whole hog, this is the best meat, love the way they package everything, friendly people, fast delivery, i like they have a store front as well, for smaller portions, i recommend this business to all my family and friends

been purchasing from here for 5 yrs plus.
always good meat, if anything the ground is a little too lean (90/10)
which is not best for grilling hamburgers but is for recipes
its hard to find a large steak. been buying local beef for a good 15 yrs or more was happy to find Alex when we move from KY

Bought 1/8th beef. The meats, steaks, and roasts were very fatty and tough. My daughter bought an 1/8th and had same issue. We both stated never to buy from them again. Just being honest. Grocery store meat is better.

I purchased a quarter of beef from Bryant beef in the summer 2022. It was very lean cuts, and great tasting meat. I was happy to be able to purchase from a local farm and mostly because my grandparents used to have a dairy and beef farm two and a half miles from them. This is where I spent most of my childhood. In July 2023 I purchased another quarter of beef from them. Not at all lean. Walmart beef doesn't have this much fat. I have had to remove approximately one third fat from each steak and roast before cooking. I was very disappointed with this, but figured it was a new processor, and I would bring it up when I made my next order. In September, I noticed a large roast ($34.98) in my freezer had lost its vacuum, or wasn't properly sealed in the first place. My wife went through the remaining meat, and found a pack of New York Strip steaks ($30.08) that had lost the seal also, but didn't appear to be frost on it. So, I decided to grill them the next day. I took one bite and realized it was no good as well due to losing its vacuum. I called about the issue of the meat losing the seal and getting frost bit. They will not due anything about it. They said if it would have been within 30 days, they "might" have been able to do something. I won't be making any more purchases from them in the future! No customer appreciation for returning customers. I have also read reviews on other sites, with the excessive fat, and losing the seal issues.

We purchased a half beef for $1200.

First issue is the source of product. Bryant's property is 11 acres. Not a lot of room for a herd, and certainly not the land displayed on their website. So where does the beef actually come from? They "work with local farms" - really? Then how come the Brisket appears to come from Colorado- at least it's packed there according to the label (Clear River Farms).
When ordering half beef, I expect to get half of one animal. What I received is clearly not.

The quality of butchering is diabolical, not the work of a professional butcher, the cuts of steak are completely random, from a half inch to near two inches. Some weigh almost two pounds! Most were not trimmed properly- way too much fat.
Sad to say even Walmart do a way better job.

Lastly they "pad" the order with cheap ground beef - a lot of it. I didn't order any, even with the last option, I selected "more stew". We received almost 50lb of ground beef and just 2 1/2lb of stew. When adding the two Brisket - 28lb (I expected one, however it isn't clear on their order form) and 34lb of Chuck, that's now most of what received (112lb out of 194lb total).

When you factor in the high prices they list on the labels, you are not saving a penny by ordering in bulk.

On the plus side, the New York Strip we had had good flavor, albeit difficult to cook due to random thickness.
