It’s the worse company ever. Don’t call them.

AVOID this company, do the job ok but rip you off with charge, started at £250 to drill out lock and ended up £1000 even though new lock is £13 so another locksmith informed me, didn’t seem to want to answer when I kept asking how much to change the lock in total, had a foreign accent which got harder to understand as it went on

Price was extortionate. £384 to drill out and replace a lock. Allegedly this was doing us a favour as they took the cost of labour off. Thought we were calling The Lockfather. Seems they put their number on Google under legit businesses pretending to be part of them. Avoid at all costs.

They are operating under other companies one is Oliver Lockmith Mayfair at .locksmithmayfair dot com. They are quick and efficient but definitely overpriced and not fair. I am sure they are operating under other names

Scam Artists. Absolut scum. Turned up quickly, seemed nice enough. Apparently had no choice but to dril through the door . Which was £210 + £25 (3 times) for drill bits, plus VAT. Then he needed to change one part of the mechanism, another £280 plus VAT. Then he needed to put in a new lock, a further £268 + VAT (if I went with the cheap option). Then he had the audacity of adding £185 + VAT for installation. Should be in Jail. Avoid them like the plague. Handed me an invoice for over £1200.

Scam artists , disabled daughter was locked out lost keys , quoted 80 pound on the phone , a man came hard to understand adding charge after charge ended up totalling over 500 pound .. thieves .

On being called out to a very elderly lady, BS charged nearly £700 for barrel change and call out?? The agent was curt, aggressive and hard to understand, as the longer the conversation lasted, the thicker his accent became. Very poor service. Who regulates these people.

This is a scam company - they use local addresses of vacant shops to suggest the are local. I was able to recover the cost back on the credit card as they left us with a door that wouldn’t unlock without a struggle and they claimed it was fine.

We own a rental property and our tenants couldn't gain entry as lock broke. They called this company who came out and started drilling straight away. The locksmith left them with a door unable to shut or lock so they spent the night with it wedged shut. The locksmith returned the next day, so we attended to find out what had happened. We were told that it needed a few parts and I pushed for prices which added up to £756 on top of the £256.80 that our tenants were forced to pay the night before. I said that's so expensive and he told us that he was up early sourcing the parts. That's £1,012.80 in total. The locksmith insisted that we pay him there and then. We refused and he was about to walk off and leave the door with a bar sticking out the top that meant the door couldn't be shut. I gave him our email addresses for an itemized invoice explaining as landlords we needed this for tax purposes. He did finish the job but after we left he tried to pressurize our tenants to pay and to give him our phone numbers. Our tenants gave our numbers and we've been hounded by phone calls. Then we were given a link to pay and had to insist on an itemized invoice which we finally got. Please do not use them as they're scammers. BBC watchdog has investigated, but as the industry is unregulated, it's difficult to keep a track on them as they change their trading name frequently. I have spoken to other locksmiths who said all the prices are over-inflated and that a broken lock is a an easy fix should should cost nothing like £1,012.80.
(((Adding to my review. I got a locksmith out with over 25 years experience who gave me a report. He would have charged me £120 to gain entry, would not have drilled the lock out and would have left the door useable and secure. These guys drilled the door and used screwdrivers and a crowbar causing damage to both the door and the frame. They left it without any way of locking or securing overnight. I refused to pay the further £756 and sent them an email asking them to compensate myself as I now have to buy a whole new front door. replied to me (reads like an AI generated email), trying to justify the extortionate cost saying they are skilled professionals who left the premises secure. Not surprisingly, they have not responded to my email asking them for compensation))))).

Absolute scam was quoted £150 then £180 and ended up £444 DONT USE

£540 for and emergency call out! If you need a lock Smith, find another local company, as this company over charges by hundreds of pounds above the going rate

BS security is a very fitting name (bulls**t security). Absolutely appalling as all the other reviews have stated they quoted 45 on the phone including callout, labour and parts. On arrival he suddenly announced it would be 200, then on closer inspection £400. Unsurprisingly we told them to very quickly leave. He asked for the £45 callout fee, having only been there 5 minutes with a ridiculous quote, and due to his intimidating nature we agreed to pay it for our safety (house of young women). after this a friend fitted our lock for a grand total of 13 pound plus extra keys- just for perspective !!!!! Disgusting people and company- avoid at all costs (to escape cost haha), especially women !!!!!!!!!!!

Ripped off. Door lock was broken and they’ve ended up charging us £678. £225 for labour and they were only here a very short time. Do not use them.

Absolutely stay away from this company! Took 3 and half hours to come to my house after I was locked out. Told me it was £200 to open the door and by the time I went to my car to get my wallet and come back, they had snapped the lock off and began to replace it without asking or telling me. Charged me £720 in total in the end as they could see how desperate my dogs were for me to get to them. Currently contacting Fraud and getting this payment disputed. Even called them back to ask for an email address and they said they weren’t locksmiths!! What a joke of a company.

Uded this company on 2/12/25 to change my locks. Was told its £45. But they charged me £132 to change the lock. They told me its a high security lock. A month later the lock does not. The keys just keeps turning in the key hole but the door isnt opening. God forbid there's no one at home I'd be locked out. Do NOT use the company!

Be aware! They will rip you off and never reply to fix what was done wrong.

Quoted around £50 plus part so expected £100-£150. Took him 5 minutes and was charged £306 with VAT.

Do not use this company they are complete rip off we were locked out of our house and they charged us £298 just to drill the lock and wanted another £180 to put new lock in we said we would do it ourselves which we did. Complete and utter rip off. They need to be shut down

I am a support worker for a lady that was locked out (simple job) she was charged £678..to say I think this company is disgusting is an understatement. Preys on the vulnerable (and women at that!) Vile. I hope karma finds you

DONT NOT USE!!!! we called this company as our UVPC door had jammed shut, they told us £45 call out plus parts. The locksmith drilled the door when he didn’t need to and then told us he can’t actually replace the lock because he didn’t have the parts, I’ve never heard of an emergency locksmith who doesn’t carry parts????? We stupidly paid £900 and was told he would come back Monday to fit the lock. After he left we quickly realised we’d been scammed and called to cancel the work and ask for a refund. We were told it would be discussed on Monday when he was supposed to return to replace the lock. We called again only to be shouted at and refused a refund. We’ve complained to trading standards and our bank. Our bank actually told us the company is flagged for fraudulent activity. I managed to get £600 back by calling and emailing negotiations for about a week and threatening further action.
If you’re in the same position as I was, do not let them come back and complete any work. Contact your bank and claim incomplete work and misrepresentation and also report to trading standards, and email them to let them know you’ve reported them. This worked for me. Please please please do not use this company!!!!!!
