WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
Very unprofessional company, they manage my move from Barcelona to France last year and added the 'premium' insurance (Old for new) to be covered, for which I payed good money. I'm chasing them since October 2023 to get my reimbursement because my furniture didn't arrive in good conditions (scratches and some broken pieces).
They are doing everything to avoid me, the 'supervisor' doesn't want to call me and the assistants don't want to give me his mobile number. Honestly, I feel scammed.. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
In response to the company's comment, my husband managed the contract with them (I already shared his details with Trustpilot) and Buenas Mudanzas employees are perfectly aware of the claim we are speaking about, which shows that my claim is absolutely legitimate. We are also surprised because their lead time to answer to our concerns and claims used to be much longer than the one they take to respond to my legitimate comment in Trustpilot.
As stated before, we contracted a service with 'EXTRA PREMIUM INSURANCE', what they describe on their quotation as 'OLD FOR NEW VALUE (if goods are less than 5 years old) If older – marketplace value only'. Our goods at that time were around 2 years old, and they started and, after 8 months of chasing them, they are asking me to fill in a form and change the Replacement value for the value we payed for the goods. Considering the inflation we've had in Europe during the last 2 years, this value would make me impossible to re-buy the damaged items (which would be the 'old for new' part of the agreement).
We are just asking for a fair reimbursement, and of course to be respected as every customer must be.
This company is trying to make us loose our patience, but we will not stop until this case has a fair resolution.
Following up on this topic, and again positively surprised for the company quick response, when normally it used to take them minimum 1-2 weeks to answer, I went on the link they shared with me and it is correct: the table is now 499 EUR.
It relevant to highlight the details from Ikea: "MÖRBYLÅNGA - Mesa, 140x85 cm - 499€ -
Precio normal 699€ - Precio válido 30.04.24 - 31.08.24 o hasta fin de existencias", what means "normal price 699€ - Price valid 30.04.24 - 31.08.24 or until end of stock".
That being shown (and easily accessible), and considering that our claim started in October 2023 (when the price was the 'Normal price'), we don't see where the fraud attempt is.
However, this make the 'new form' the company asked my husband to re-do accurate, so we would be (finally) able to receive our fair reimbursement after 8 long months.
Of course we will share through this channel the way this issue is resolved and, as professional and honest consumers, we will be open to share all the information we have once the company takes legal actions.
