The team builder ai is very supportive nd cooperative. Specially Ms.Shivani, she is always there to help & organise meeting whenever we needed.The work done by her & her team was remarkable..We are thankful to her nd Mr Gulshan.

We onboarded Builder.AI for our project a year back but had to disengage before project completion with 20% of the project still remaining. The handover of code in the end was relatively smooth while knowledge transfer is still ongoing. Main reason for us to go ahead with Builder.ai in the beginning was reasonable project cost vs what others in the industry were charging and promise to deliver the project within 4-5 months. Our experience with builder.ai has not been particularly great and I would give them overall 3/5 rating. I will highlight some of the pros and cons of working with Builder.AI
Pros
1 Amount of work delivered for the cost charged to us was reasonable
2 While other tech teams charge on an hourly basis and are not willing to fix the project cost, our engagement with Builder.AI was on fixed cost basis. We ended up paying 20-25% on top of the agreed cost, which I think is fair as there is always addition of features from the initial design.
3. Weekly meetings with project coordinator happened without any failures and communication with the team was smooth.
4. We had a good experience with the productologist (Yuvraj). He was hard working and was able to understand the requirements fairly well.
Cons
1. Main issue with Builder.AI is the resources. Lot of people in the team are relatively new hires. Each product manager is working on multiple projects in parallel and so not able to give enough time to a single project
2. Delay in the delivery is usual. For us, it stretched to more than 6 months from the initial timeline. We finally got frustrated and decided to disengage with builder team with 20-25% of the project still remaining. We had to pay the full price as agreed in beginning.
3. No one in the team takes full responsibility of the project. This makes the delay in project your problem and not builder.ai's problem.
4. Builder.ai uses ruby on rails framework for the development which is not the preferred tech these days. It makes the further project development difficult as there are not a lot of RoR developers in industry (as per my experience so far) and it adds to the cost and time to rewrite the code in another framework.
5. They tend to push their internal services to the clients in an attempt to keep them engaged after the project is finished. When we didn't take the internal cloud service of builder.ai, they denied on setting up external cloud platform for us (which they had initially agreed on)
6. Design team is below average.

It is a great platform to get your software developed.

We got an e-commerce app built from Builder.ai.
The experience with builder team has been good and we got both the android and iOS apps developed with the requisite features. The support extended by our Product manager was good and we got regular updates and calls scheduled on our project.
Look forward to our long term association with the builder team..

Would never do business with them again. App is 10 weeks late and still doesn't work.

There Team is also excellent and creative and helpful they always keep updating you about your project stautus and schedule meeting daily. Thanks Milone Kariye (Sales), Ruchika Khaitan ( Project Manager) they support me a lot. My project is under development but they assured me it will be done very soon.

Their project tracking toll is very much helpful for us to review status of our project at any point of time. Adding additional features and checking out the estimate is very userfriendly. Buidler done good work on visualize our thought process which helps improvise the solution UI better
