We’ve had a great experience using Buildscout. The quality of enquiries has been consistently strong, bringing in genuine clients who are ready to move forward with their projects.

The integrated features give us the ability to be very precise about the clients we approach. The platform is easy to use, well organised, and has helped streamline our lead generation process. It’s allowed us to focus more on delivering projects rather than chasing new work. We spend 3hrs a week using the platform and have already won a £300,000 job in only 3 months of using the platform.

We’re very happy with the service and would highly recommend Buildscout to any construction company looking to secure consistent, high-quality leads.

We’ve been using Buildscout for a while now and it’s been a really useful tool for finding new project opportunities in our area. The platform is easy to use, and the planning data and leads are well organised so you can quickly see which jobs are relevant to your business.

What I like most is that it saves a lot of time compared to searching manually through planning portals. Instead, you get clear information about projects and can focus on the ones that fit your services.

We have been using Buildscout platform for just over 2 months and although it's very difficult to judge how effective it is in such a short time we think it has a lot of potential. The build-in tools allow us to refine our search criteria and tailor the leads to our needs. In comparison to the previous tool we used, with Buildscout we are receiving approximately 3 to 4 times more leads. However, even with very specific search criteria, not every lead matches all our requirements. Thankfully the platform offers access to all documents within any application so we can quickly go through these and only approve certain leads for sending our materials. We could turn on full automation and let the platform do all the work for us, but we prefer to hand pick the leads. The search tool is the biggest advantage of the platform in our opinion.

However, nothing is perfect and we did come across a few small issues but the support team was quick fix those. They are always one email / phone call away and ready to help. They take on board our feedback and feature requests/suggestions.

In regards to the unique QR / reference codes that are printed on every single letter, we still don't know what think of them. In theory, they're a great tool to track how our letters are doing, but in practice we are still to see any measurable feedback. We don't think there is a single issue with that, but rather a mix of small problems. We could, and probably should, tweak our messaging around QR codes and make them a bit more visible, but on the other hand we understand that people are still hesitant to use those unless it's for setting up their smart devices and linking accounts, where they really shine. We did notice an increase in our website traffic, but because all of the QR codes are still showing as not scanned, we can't say with certainty that the letters we sent out are responsible for that. Most likely there is some correlation, but nothing we can reliably measure.

Overall, we think there is a great potential but only time will tell how effective the tools are.

Our favourite feature is the intelligent linking system: each outbound letter has a unique code. If a customer contacts us referencing that code, we can instantly retrieve all the associated planning application details. This dramatically improves our customer service speed and efficiency, eliminating manual lookup time.

On the whole, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend BuildScout to any business needing full visibility on planning applications.

I have been really impressed with buildscout, having used similar products before in the past I was not sure what to expect, probably just more of the same, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of buildscout's product. The interface is clean and easy to use, the on boarding process was easy to manage and the pricing was clear and straight forward and excellent value. The staff are always on hand whenever you need them and so far being with build scout it has been an absolute joy, compared to our previous providers of this sort of service. would absolutely recommend buildscout to anyone that is looking for a portal into planning applications for their local area.
