My name is Christine I had a really positive experience viewing a studio flat in Stoke with Max Astly from BJB Newcastle Lettings. He was very friendly, welcoming and professional throughout the viewing. He took the time to give me all the information I needed, answered my questions clearly, and made the whole experience easy and comfortable.

I really appreciated his helpful and approachable manner. Great customer service and a very positive experience overall. I would definitely recommend Max to anyone looking for a property. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent service from start to finish, particularly from Kelly Johnson who was so helpful all the way and went out of her way to help and always got back to me straight away by phone or email . I can’t thank her enough

I rang this afternoon asking for a rough price % to market my house. I was told by the boy that it didn’t work like that and he needed to book a visit and valuation before I could have a price. I didn’t realise that butters had dragged themselves down to the level of a double glazing salesman who once in your house just won’t leave until you have signed on the dotted line.
Two other local agents gave me a % price immediately over the phone, so I went with them.
First question when buying a service. Roughly how much is it going to cost please?

Chloe was very friendly, polite, and very professional. She is a very good listener and answered all the questions we had, and was always looking for the fastest and the best solution. She went that extra mile to help us, including walking in the snow. We were very impressed with her work ethic and professionalism.

I contacted butters John bee for a valuation for probate purposes and I spoke to a very nice man called Ryan Cheetham this morning 30/09/2024 and true to his word Ryan said he would email me a letter with the valuation which he did in the same afternoon thank you Ryan very impressed

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Butter John Bee. My 6-month-old and I are currently living in a house with no heating, and despite multiple calls to the agency, I have received nothing but empty promises that someone would be sent to fix the issue.

In addition to the heating problem, there are several other repairs that have been pending for months, and the lack of urgency from the agency is unacceptable. It feels like our concerns are being ignored, and I can’t help but feel that race plays a role in the treatment we are receiving as Black occupants.

I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through this agency to think twice. They are the worst when it comes to addressing maintenance issues and treating their tenants with respect.

BJB sold our house on behalf of the landlord. They were atrocious from start to finish. Told us nothing, didn't answer emails and were unprofessional and unhelpful. The only contacts were to say when they had booked viewings for (didn't bother telling us they'd cancelled) and to stick a sold sign up outside the house, again not telling us. These caused extreme distress as we are both disabled, which they knew. Really poor.

Appalled by this company. They blatantly lied to my young niece (first time buyer as well) regarding a property they were marketing. They told her it was sold in 2019 to an owner occupier who had renovated it extensively hence perfect turn key property for a first time buyer. The property had, in fact, been a long term rental last sold in 2006 - and really badly neglected. Luckily she had a full survey which showed up huge damp, structural and safety issues which would have cost her about £20k to rectify. Turns out the owner had carried out a botch job to cover all the faults prior to marketing it. BJB admitted they were aware of this. Utter liars (Newcastle under Lyme Office) who were willing to offload a dangerous and structurally damaged property on a young, female first time buyer - AVOID AT ALL COSTs or you could be hugely out of pocket.

Butters John Bee quickly found reliable tenants for my property. I was kept fully informed throughout the process. This occurred during the covid 19 lock down. Social distancing was observed during all meetings.
