Verona was most helpful in getting me wheel chair assistance request added to my flights after the fact of already being booked. Her help was greatly appreciated. Great Customer Service.

First of all, unlike some people on the internet claim, it is not a scam.
It is another flight booking website. I got to their website through google flights. Unfortunately when trying to open their website directly on my computer, I get the message "Something went Wrong. Try Again...". However, it somehow works on my phone. Unfortunately, the website doesn't have any "view my trip" option. Also, I was a little bit concerned, because they didn't allow payment using PayPal.
By now I received my ticket and the airline booking number. I checked with the airline, the booking exists and is on the right name. So in the end everything worked out fine. I might use them again, but only if their prices are lower than comparable websites.

UPDATE: BUYMYTRIP replied to my review and as expected, they are still not taking accountability for their error or even want to explore the root cause of the issue that was diagnosed by my bank fraud/cyber security team upon their request: Their internal system does not recognize my Canadian Bank (Laurentian Bank) which resulted in the transaction being reversed by BUYMYTRIP.

I already explained this to them over the phone and on this review but as I expected, they love to point the finger elsewhere as they have a culture of screwing over their customers to make a quick buck and it is much easier to do that than to own up to one's error.

Worst of all, when solutions are proposed they would disregard them and their sole response is to point the finger somewhere else.

This is what I proposed them after a thorough diagnosis with my bank cyber security/fraud team:

Solution 1 ignored: Ensure the BUYMYTRIP system recognizes Laurentian Bank so transactions made by that bank are not reversed by their system

Solution 2 ignored: Notify customers when their system is canceling plane tickets. This can be catastrophic for customers under the impression that they have legit tickets when in reality BUYMYTRIP would cancel them behind the scenes without any notice.

Disgusting company that are just out to take your money using sketching scam-like methods. Don't trust the positive reviews as they are likely bots or fake reviews written by their employees. Even TrustPilot doesn't trust BUYMYTRIP as they are flagging alot of fake reviews. This company needs to shut down for unethical practices.

All the current reviews do not exaggerate. Worst experience I've ever had buying a plane ticket (I bought the tickets since they were referred through Google Flights without first reading other customer reviews which was my error - And shame on Google for referring them).

Here goes….I noticed that the transaction did not show up on my credit card a week after I purchased the plane tickets from BuyMyTrip so I called them. The agent informed me that my flight was canceled due to the amount being reversed by my bank (which was incorrect) and I had to purchase new tickets online again and absorb whatever difference.

I told them this was absurd as I have a Visa eligible in any country and there is no transaction amount limit locks that would reverse a transaction. The latest update I received from the bank was an automated message stating the transaction went through and I also received an email from BuyMyTrip that my flight was confirmed including E-Tickets.

I gave BuyMyTrip the benefit of doubt and called my bank to speak with the fraud/security department and they informed me that the transaction made it through with no fraudulent blocks but the vendor (BuyMyTrip) "reversed" it two hours after the transaction was made.

The bank security team suspects that since my credit card was from a smaller Canadian Bank (Laurentian Bank), the vendor did not recognize the name and reversed the transaction. Whether it was reversed manually or automatically by BuyMyTrip; the bank did not know.

I called BuyMyTrip back to see if we could salvage this situation and was transferred to the manager I was previously talking to that told me to call my bank but like a broken record, she kept insisting it was my bank that reversed the transaction resulting in them canceling my plane tickets. Her statement was incorrect as my bank cybersecurity /fraud detection team said otherwise.

It was very upsetting that BuyMyTrip refused to take accountability for their system not recognizing my bank and canceling my plane tickets without any notice. By fluke as I was going through my personal finances, I had to randomly call them to find out that they canceled my plane tickets. Thankfully I was able to find out on my own a week before my flight rather than go through this nightmare during check-in at the airport.

All in all, BuyMyTrip is a pure scam with ZERO customer support and empathy and their employees take ZERO accountability for their errors such as:

1) Reversing the transaction resulting in my plane tickets being canceled

2) Not notifying me that my plane tickets were canceled.

3) Having ZERO solutions to salvage the situation caused by their own system error.

4) Refusing to provide solutions when the root cause of the issue was identified.
Their blanket refusal to support a potentially paying customer is mind-boggling. DO NOT EVER BOOK THROUGH THIS SITE.

Disgusting experience, company, work ethics, work culture and all around nightmarish experience. Purely horrendous. In the end, I found plane tickets for about the same price using skyscanner with zero hassle or complications. STAY AWAY FROM BUYMYTRIP!!!!!!!

They are a scam company! Do not trust them. I purchased insurance with them in case I want to cancel or change to get a refund. They will not give you one without a $500 penalty. They wouldn't even send me the policy I purchased and avoided me!! Scammers.

Quick, easy transaction, found through online search process. Clear, concise instructions to book; fast turnaround pertaining to confirmation for future flight.

My overall experience with getting my ticket fixed prior to departure was smooth sailing. Thanks to Zayn Li for his attentiveness and calm demeanour I was able to fix my itinerary with a sense of comfort.
He even called me to confirm that all was completed when he was not expected to.
Exceptional service and understanding from worker to client.

Do not go there at all, I booked a flight, received booking confirmation (ZOLJ27OR) next day I received email saying my credit was declined, spoke with my bank and nothing was wrong with my card. I called the customer service, but the agent couldn't do nothing for me and told me to go back and book it again. I did, after I provided my personal information (for the second time) I called customer service.... they couldn't do noting for me...... don't give them your personal information.

I had several questions about a flight that I just reserved for my son who is a minor and the customer service rep, Verona, was very responsive. I was able to get all of my questions answered over the course of one day and about 4 emails.

The name was wrong on one of my tickets, and they would not change it even though I contacted them a month ahead of time. I ended up making it to Asia with the wrong name on my ticket, but the airline demanded that I get it fixed before my return flight. BuyMyTrip again would not change the name, and I ended up spending hours getting it fixed myself while I was in a foreign country, without proper phone access. It was awful.

Forms are clear, easy to read and understand. Airfare prices surprisingly low as I took time to compare the quotes with quotes in other websites. Booking was a breeze. I'm a very satisfied first-time online customer. Will recommend this website to friends and family (to everyone). Price quoted was the exact amount (to the cent) deducted from my credit card.

I came to know about Buymytrip through google flights and in my utter surprise I got best flight deal from James. He is excpetional and great and customer service I highly recommend Buymytrip for great flight deals

Booking went roundly well. They had to call for extra checks. The agent did not speak French and I could barely hear them talking through the phone.

I paid the extra fees (74$/ticket) so I could bring a carry on as it was advertised to then find out it was actually included in the basic fare by the airline.

The ticket's price went down of few hundreds dollars 24h later and they were not able to cancel my tickets either. They could only offer me to change de dates for a fee (not mentionned).

I would suggest to not go for their extra option, it seems arbitrary, imprecise and mostly, like false advertising/misinformation towards their customers.

Except from the extra options situation, everything else went fairly well.

Vivek is very kind, polite and helpful. He was also very patient and was able to find the best itinerary for the holiday ticket I needed for my son.
If I could give Vivek more than 5 stars, I'd definitely do that.

They had the lowest ticket price. The e-ticket was issued within minutes and when I noticed that I had made a mistake on one of the passenger names, they made the change right away.

The agent was very helpful with my booking i had a little complication and he was able to quickly solve it out for me. I will recommend this website to my friends and family.

The process was quite efficient and the customer service staff was very kind and patient. I was also pleased that the company contacted me, as the credit card owner, to confirm that I was actually the one making the purchase.
