Bytrix upgraded our mobile app. It looks awesome with the new Google map.

I have been working with Bytrix for years. They are really good at working with you to design and develop your idea into a useable software project.

What stood out from the very beginning with Bytrix was their ultimate commitment to me, the customer. Especially their CTO Naveed Zafar. Naveed Worked with me every step of the way, which was super important because I am brand new to the tech space. An idea I drew on a posted note turned into a mobile application that will be used throughout the world. I couldn’t be happier with Bytrix, Naveed, as well as all the engineers who worked on my project. Cheers!

Naveed at Bytrix went beyond what was expected to write a detailed description of how my app works for my patent attorney. This was a perfectly written 13 page document that must have taken a good bit of time to write. Naveed also made all the changes I asked for on my app project. Because of Naveed and the team, I am ready to move forward with my app.

I originally took down a positive remark about this company, but I feel compelled to write this negative review after fully realizing the extent to which I was swindled by Bytrix. I signed a contract in May 2024 for app development that was promised to take 8 to 10 weeks. It is now 17 months later, and I have nothing but a massive financial loss.

The CTO is the public face of the company. He is exceptionally responsive to messages and always available. Do not mistake this availability for competence or efficiency. I would classify him as a professional gaslighter; he is brilliant at stalling and distracting, making small requests feel like large group projects.The singular thing every positive review has in common is praise for the "top-tier customer service," but there is minimal execution. Imagine paying for a brand new car and there is a missing engine.

I was initially quoted $10,000. My total expenditure, between the back-end development, server purchasing, and "marketing," ballooned to an incomprehensible $63,500. There is no rational reason for this cost overrun. After 17 months, the app is non-functional.

The CTO has bombarded me with thesis length emails shifting blame on me for delays. I’ve been on three vacations, experienced two deaths and trained new personnel, all while working with this company. I never missed a meeting, phone call or text. There were occasions when I was in another country having meetings in my hotel room.

Outside of the week that I asked to end the project because of the random expenses I was always presented with, the wire transfers always cleared. Take it from me, use a credit card, so you can dispute the charge later, in case there are no deliverables.

I had the incomplete application assessed by three separate, professional third-party companies. All three provided the same definitive report: the app is non-functional, it appears as though junior developers will be used, missing critical elements, and cannot operate in its current state. The app is a directory but when you attempt to create a profile you receive an error message.

Bytrix uploaded the app, and it was immediately rejected by the Google Play Store for non-compliance and missing necessary technical elements.It became obvious over time that the owner is not a technology professional. He appears to be a figurehead who is subcontracting development services to cut costs, while charging the customer inflated rates. The constant team shifts and the inability to handle small fixes confirmed that the project was being "winged."
Please note that not at any point did I ever ask for a discount. I also paid an extra thousand dollars to cover any processing fees. All I asked was to be presented with information in a timely manner and not be blindsided by random expenditures.

I am deeply disappointed, not just by the $63,500 spent, but by the time and emotional commitment I invested only to have to start from scratch with a new, reputable developer.

I am fighting for a partial refund (I requested 50% and was rejected), but my advice to anyone reading this is clear: Do not bother with this company. They will take you on a long, costly roller coaster ride that ends nowhere. At the moment you think you are finally going to stop, you get completely derailed.

UPDATE : It’s November 23,2025 and the new developer contacted Bytrix to find out about the server I paid $15k for. Bytrix refused to provide the information. After a second attempt, Naveed proposed a meeting for 1:00am. It’s interesting how Bytrix is unavailable now, but managed to meet with me, almost daily, including the weekends despite there being an eight hour time difference. Beware!

Bytrix is a professional company with many innovations. They have been helpful and insightful in growing our platform from square zero until now. We are thankful for the consistency and perseverance of Bytrix Technologies. They have delivered a phenomenal procure and we are in the process of getting it developed. Best evolve.

I spent a few weeks trying to find the perfect company to handle my baby. I narrowed my search down and landed with Bytrix. I was a bit hesitant but Bytrix has proven to deliver on everything I wanted. I worked with Naveed (CTO) and had a great experience. He is responsive and creative. Their development team too was great to work with for the same reasons. My project met all the deadlines and I am very satisfied with the final product. Save yourself time and just go with this company if you're looking to build a mobile app.

The team at Bytrix Technologies was stellar in helping me with my game app prototype. I was stuck with a couple previous developers, but Bytrix Technologies came to the rescue and I now have a working prototype, thanks to them! They helped me through the process with great communication skills and quick turnaround. Their expertise was evident because I understand it's difficult to work with someone else's code, yet they were able to solve the problem so I now have a prototype that I can show off. They added a few bells and whistles to my project that made it shine. I am grateful!
