Great experience purchasing the van from Caledonian Campers. Loads of information and help making various decisions, great communication during and after the purchase, with super after-sales support if / when needed. Martin was great throughout.

We are the proud new owners of a VW Transporter Camper Van from Caledonian Campers & Conversions Ltd. In our opinion, they are the leaders in the field of VW Conversions in the UK. I can vouch that their products are stunning and we get lots of admiring glances and positive comments from others about our new van. The pre and after sales service is amazing as the staff, particularly Tony Galt, have gone above and beyond to help us on our journey as new VW Camper owners. We love our new van and are so happy that Caledonian Campers have us covered with their 5 year warranty. They are winners in our eyes and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to convert or buy a used or new camper van.

Tony was helpful throughout the process, very responsive via phone and email, and very knowledgeable when I collected the van. The conversion itself is spot on, with all the features you would expect, well designed and well built. We're looking forward to many years of travels ahead.

Brilliant company to deal with. No hard sell. Big shout out to Martin who lead us through the whole buying process with humour and patience(first time buyers)lol. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and in fact already have. A couple complemented our new van on our first trip out in it to Arisaig and we passed on phone no etc. First class service all round.

Buying our new camper VWT6.1 was a stress free and happy experience, wondering around looking at what they had for sale, under no pressure to make a choice.
Martin was great and extremely helpful, and answered all our questions, even made us a lovely cup of coffee which we both enjoyed after our 2 hour journey down.
He sent us a very helpful video of our particular vehicle and its workings which was and will be very useful.
A big thanks for the photos he also sent off, buying and driving away with van.
On collection everything was ready all paperwork, road tax etc was done for us, and we drove off happy with a full tank of fuel and a lovely wee hamper and bottle of wine.
Looking forward to our adventures after being grounded with Covid for last 2 years.

Very helpful and friendly service and advice. They sent me a video the day before I collected our campervan so I was familiar with the pop top ,gas ,electric and various workings of the camper beforehand. All In all excellent service.

Great all round experience buying my campervan. Lovely showroom, friendly & helpful staff, then Martin, what can I say, Martin knew what I wanted before I knew what I wanted. He answered all my questions with ease (there were many), no hard sales chat just honest, genuine, professional & informative conversations, he is an extremely valuable asset to the company. Videos prepared for first timers are very helpful and the beautiful Clan Artisan hamper plus wine in the fridge was a lovely surprise. Anyone thinking of buying a campervan, why would you go anywhere else, highly recommended.

Bought a new camper from them this year. Excellent service from exceptional staff. They explained everything step by step and no hard sell. If I had questions they were quickly answered.
Even when my base van provider let me down, the converter Caledonian Campers managed to mitigate all issues and made sure I got the camper I was so looking forward to.
I can recommend them in good times and also when issues occurred (that were the van makers not Caledonian Campers responsibility) it was caledonian campers who resolved it not the van provider and i do truely feel their staff care to make it the best experience possible. Highly recommended

Bought a new camper with them, excellent staff, excellent service. On pick up they made sure they went over the van while providing videos for me to refer to later. I was nervous as its my first camper purchase but they really looked after us with no hard sell either. I would recommend! Will be using them again.

Buying our VW T6 was a stress free and happy experience, from initially looking round at those that were for sale, under no pressure to make a choice, all our questions answered. We were downsizing from a larger Moho to a smaller campervan, so getting the right fit was paramount. Martin was incredibly helpful. In between choosing the van and collecting it a week later Martin sent us a very useful video of our particular vehicle and it's workings, (not just some generic van), which was really useful. On collection all the paperwork, tax etc. was done for us, everything went smoothly, and we drove off with a full tank of fuel and a lovely wee hamper, cheers for that 👍😁. Looking forward to some more adventures after two years being grounded! Great company to work with, highly recommend.

Had been looking around for a VW camper for a while . Decided to visit Caledonian campers , best decision. Spoke to Tony Galt on arrival , couldn’t have asked for a better salesman, he took the time to listen to what we wanted, offered great advice and help and wasn’t pushy but very friendly, he was really concerned if we bought a van it would be the right one for us. It was , the NEw transporter has meet all our needs and the price and service was excellent. Would recommend the company to anybody and Tony to everyone. Thank you team

The process from initial visit to purchase of vehicle was smooth and problem free staff were very pleasant and informative . never felt under pressure at any time by staff martin was very pleasant and only to happy to impart his knowledge

We bought a camper van from Caledonian Campers. I’d contacted a few places at the same time. The customer service from Caledonian Campers was on a different level from the rest altogether.

We decided on the Grand Tourer model and Martin was really helpful all through the process, providing knowledgeable advice when we needed it.

We picked up our van in April and are extremely pleased with it. The conversion work is to a very high standard. Really good attention to detail and quality materials. The whole package is outstanding and we can wholeheartedly recommend Caledonian Campers to anyone looking for a quality camper van or conversion.

We purchased a VW T28 Highline from Caledonian Campers this year and can recommend them highly. Their attention to detail is exemplary and post purchase service is excellent. Thanks to the team but especially Tony who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Wow....so we decided to go and have a look at campervans at Caledonian Campers. We had looked elsewhere online but decided we liked the look of the Volkswagen T6.1 Transporter "Grand Tourer" model.

Made an appointment and Tony greeted us and it was kind of obvious we were new to campervans and he guided us through the whole process of owning a campervan, what you need, what you need to do, how it works - like a pro. He didn't go in for the hard sell (basically doesn't need to - these things sell themselves!) and was super friendly, helpful and an absolute pro at his job. He spent quite a bit of time with us and no question was deemed daft (appreciate that haha).

The second time we went, we test drove one and really went through it and then bought the showroom one! It is incredible. We went on our first trip away the other week and LOVED it - they really have thought of everything you could need/want in there and we genuinely love it. Our 4 year old "absolutely loves it" and sleeping on the top bunk :D - it's just a mini adventure for him. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The rock and roll bed was really comfortable, the kitchen is fantastic, cooker was brilliant for it's size, the light USB charger by rock and roll bed is ingenious. The van really is fab. Loads of storage, everything is great, literally can't fault it, comfortable, looks mint, works brilliantly.

Tony made the whole purchase seamless and enjoyable and fun. Thank you! Appreciate all the advice on the day we went to pick it up as well, as we are new to campervans so it was all useful information. I recently bought a camper van from Caledonian campers and found the service and quality of vans second to none. Having done my homework I knew what I was looking for and the van I purchased ticked all the boxes. Tony made the process very straightforward and was knowledgeable and helpful when answering queries. The build quality of the vans is the best I have seen even after checking out multiple suppliers. The vans really stand out with the alloys, side bars and front splitter. Add on the 5 year warranty's and servicing and you also have piece of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a new camper.

I'll use the same words here that I used to Martin during our visit and that was that I now knew how the purchasers of an expensive new Bentley or Tesla for example must feel.

We were given a warm Scottish welcome after flying up from Southampton, plenty of hot tea and a tour of the workshop to see what our van would have looked like during build.

This was the single biggest purchase of our life including our house and I'm very glad we were in Martin's safe hands throughout.

Our vehicle was the Volkswagen T6.1 Transporter "Grand Tourer" model and has everything we could want in a day van / occasional overnighter.

Martin was happy to provide us with videos to illustrate features and queries we had even before we showed any commitment to buy.

Paperwork and handover was smooth as silk and we were on our way back to the South but not before Martin was totally satisfied we had the chance to ask anything and everything we needed to know.

We can’t say enough about how helpful Tony and the team at Caledonian Campers have been. Excellent advice from day one, great service and information throughout our decision buy our first campervan. The advice was great and the product is second to none. To say the professionalism and workmanship that has gone into the campervan conversion is simply magnificent would be an understatement! After picking up our new campervan, my wife and I have just spent our first weekend away with it and it was truly great. Great space to live in and sleep in and Dougal our border collie loved it too !
