I found Caledonia Tutors as my son required additional help with school. We started with the maths Headstart course last summer and it was excellent. At first I was unsure that online lessons would work but it exceeded all expectations. We chose to continue on with the tutor throughout the year as my son’s grades improved and we wanted to keep them that way. Cannot be faulted, highly recommended.

I arranged a a couple of maths lessons for my daughter, at very short notice, who was struggling a little with trigonometry ahead of a test. Her tutor explained things in an extremely easy to understand way and I will not hesitate to use her again down the line if needs be and would encourage anyone in the same boat to do the same.

Abbie was a super tutor and really helped my daughter build her confidence in human biology. She explained topics really well and was encouraging and positive.

We have used Aidan at Caledonian Tutors for over two years for Nat5, Higher and Advanced Higher Maths. He is reliable and flexible. Aidan has given my teens confidence in maths and provided tailored tuition that has helped them to achieve great exam results.

After failing his prelim in Nat 5 math I reached out to Caledonia Tutors for tutoring for my son and he was matched with Ubaida for weekly tutoring online. Ubaida was brilliant. In my son’s words Ubaida really helped because he was clear, thorough and provided helpful details to make difficult calculations clear. Ubaida also provided Gregor with math to practice and try between tutoring. We couldn’t be more happy with Gregor’s time working with Ubaida that helped Gregor achieve a B in his Nat 5 exam. Caledonia Tutors offer a first class service and accomodate their students. Logan Crawford was absolutely amazing with my son, in the short period he worked with him, not only did his results improve but his confidence in the subject rocketed. Logan offered a supportive environment and was always very responsive and polite. Would highly recommend Caledonia Tutors.

My daughter tutor was very supportive,professional and very helpful. Highly recommended. Aiden matched my son with Thomas Morris for Nat 5 Physics in January after the prelims. He had struggled to follow his teacher and after a disastrous 27% in the prelim we thought it was too late for him to recover.

He had a 90min lesson with Thomas once a week until the final exam and not only did he pass but he got an A!

Thomas was an excellent tutor and we will be using him again for Higher.

Aidan's management of my enquiry was super professional and efficient, getting to know my daughter's tutoring requirements and setting up weekly sessions promptly. All of the team are extremely well organised, have a friendly approach and are high performance tutors, tailoring the sessions to my daughter's needs.

In particular Maria for Maths, Catriona for Chemistry/Biology and Skye for English - I can't thank them enough for their excellent focus, attention and encouragement. It's thanks to them that my daughter sat all of her Nat 5 exams with confidence and achieved A grades in all subjects!

Ben tutored my son in advanced higher physics. He was reliable and efficient at covering the topics, he went into great detail and provided additional material to give my son a deeper understanding of the subject. I'm pleased to say that my son achieved the result that he needed to get into his first choice of Uni, for which we are very grateful.

Meg tutored my daughter for Higher English for six months on and off. An easy relationship was established and Meg gradually challenged her to first stabilise and then improve, resulting in a band 1 A grade. This arose after her school teacher vanished, effectively never replaced. I have no doubt Meg's tutoring utterly salvaged this particular Higher and gave my daughter insight into the undergraduate experience of studying English literature.

My daughter dipped a bit in her prelims. I decided to employ the services of Caledonian Tutor to cover Maths, English, Biology and Chemistry. She ended up scoring A in all her subjects. She was very happy with all her teachers especially the English teacher.

My daughter struggled massively with maths. She missed out on being taught the very basics during Covid and consequently her confidence took a huge nosedive arriving into high school. Lack of teachers and consistency with teaching over the last 4 years took their toll however we reached out to Caledonia Tutors and were paired up with Kiera who literally turned it around in less than 18 months. Kiera was so patient, kind, caring and happy to go at my daughter’s pace. Kiera was also very proactive contacting my daughter by WhatsApp with homework and even helping her with anything she was struggling with in class. My daughter received her Nat 5 results last week and got a B!! Her prelim was a 35%!! So so pleased with Kiera and can’t recommend her highly enough! Thank you again 🥰

Aidan was responsive when getting set up with a tutor originally and then Hollie did a terrific job understanding my child’s needs, adapting to them and building confidence. Outcome, moving from a C at Higher English prelim to an A in final exam over a few months.

My tutor Maria was very good at explaining the topic in steps which made it easier to learn the subject as a whole. Also by having questions that challenged me. Finally throughout the whole experience she encouraged me to keep going and eventually get an A.
