California Budogu レビュー

I just received my order today of
A bushuichi black label Hakama and
One Katsujin cool touch Kendogi
And I have to say both pieces fit and feel so good ! Infact I don’t think I have had a set that fits better ! The Hakama’s pleats and color are supream you really feel special when wearing them , the Kendogi really fits well and there is no sagging around the neck “pet peeve of mine”
It feels so natural straight out of the packing ,
Nathan was awesome in helping me with my order since I didn’t enter my size requirements initially on the order , Nathan reached out the next day to consult and also helped me get the correct set for my needs , everything arrived on time carefully packed with free CA Budogu stickers to boot !

Very happy with the overall service and products ! I highly recommend !!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've never had proper measurements taken before, so I was really nervous about buying a new men. But Nathan Gallagher-sensei was very kind, patient, and responsive when helping me make sure my measurements were correct over email. He's also able to tell you what your current stuff is made from just by looking at a picture no matter how beat-up it is, which can really help diversify the types of equipment you use! And the men I ordered came within the month. Overall, I will definitely be considering California Budogu for future equipment purchases.

California Budogu offers excellent Bogu sets. The Bogu is really comfortable and easy to break in. The set also retains its shape really well. The shock absorbing technology offers great protection and is well worth it. Nathan provided very accurate advice on fitting and answering any questions. I was looking for a high quality men, since good head protection is essential. I decided on the Sapphire men and found exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend CA Budogu for quality equipment and great customer service.

California Budogu is amazing! The communication was nice and quick. They were very accommodating when I wanted something specific for my Mune design. Nathan was very helpful and honest when it came to picking out my Do-dai and Mune materials. My world team Tare was also ordered from California Budogu and I absolutely love it! Highly recommend!

California Budogu has become the only place I shop for kendo equipment. Nathan from California Budogu is honest and easy to work with. I love the Pearl Jissengata bogu set I purchased. It's extremely light weight and comfortable. It took no time to break in. The men dare is shortened exactly the way I wanted and has that modern look. The nafuda from Dannoya is probably the best on the market. Great looking fonts, detail and thick elastic band on the back that keeps mine from slipping off.

Nathan was really helpful with my bogu consultation and bogu planning process. He answered all of my questions throughout multiple days and email conversations and was really informative! The end product arrived way more quickly than I anticipated as well. I genuinely don't think there's a better bogu vendor out there in terms of customer service than California Budogu.

California budogu is my goto place for kendo equipment. From my very first shinai, gi hakama, and bogu, these guys have guided me through with expert information and top customer service. I highly recommend California Budogu and their team!

California Budogu is the best bogu company around! Nathan, always seeks out top quality bogu to offer his customers, so rest assured when you are buying from his shop, you are getting The Best Quality Bogu always at awesome prices! I have been buying my bogu from Nathan for many years, and I have bought many bogu sets, Do, and other accessories from him over the years. His customer service is top notch just as the quality of bogu he stocks. He is always lightning fast to respond to inquiries, and he cares about his customer’s experience with him and his business.

so helpful and very accommodating. highly recommend.

Very happy with my purchases... especially kendogi/hakama where at other stores it's been very hit-or-miss, all the ones bought here have been better quality than more expensive ones I've bought elsewhere.
What puts this store over the top is that the owner is does an amazing job of making sure you're happy, responding to things like deliveries questions and such quickly. In fact, I realized at one point that he was the same person that I had remembered a decade ago (at another kendo store) for being so responsive and helpful.
