I can’t recommend Susan from Calla high enough

I can’t recommend Susan from Calla Property highly enough.

About five years ago, I was trying to purchase my first investment property but was struggling to put together what I felt was a sufficient deposit. I remember seriously considering holding off and saving more, thinking it was the “safer” option. Susan’s response was a firm and confident “no.” She explained her view that the market was shifting into a buy-and-hold phase and that prices were likely to climb rapidly.

What really stood out was how quickly that decision paid off. The property wasn’t even finished yet, and I could already see equity building when comparing it to others in the same street.

Five years later, I reached out to her again for guidance on purchasing a family home. Even though I didn’t end up going through her company this time, she was more than willing to offer her time and advice freely.

Over the years, the amount of valuable advice Susan has given me has been immense. I’m incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to work with her.

Awful awful awful.

Awful, do not recommend. We trusted Calla to help us secure our financial future. Instead it’s done the opposite and created a significant amount of debt. Calla blame everything and everyone else but we took advice from Calla and only Calla. We were not talking to anyone else. I’ve had many sleepless nights worrying about our future.

A Data driven approach to investment

I spent the last 12-18 months trying to gather data that would inform the best investment property decision. It was hard!
We engaged multiple companies and nobody came anywhere near the accuracy and due diligence that Susan and the team deliver.
It was a pleasure to work with Calla Property and we hope to leverage them again in the future.

I used to think property investment was


I used to think property investment was too complicated, until I met Calla Property!

As a recent migrant, from a developing country (Brazil) this dream of becoming a real estate investor seemed out of reach...

I remember when I first met Susan and her team, I had 5k dollars in savings...

Even then, she gave me her attention and more importantly... GUIDANCE

In less than a year I told her I was ready to do whatever it takes to buy my very first property, and she gave all the support and direction on exactly how to proceed in every step!!

I totally recommend Calla Property (if you meet me on the street I will probably talk about it anyway)

I still can't believe my investments properties are generating more income than my actual job 🀑

It's not only financial freedom, it's a peace of mind for me and my growing family ❀

TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FURTHER IN DEBT SINCE TAKING THE ADVICE OF CALLA PROPERTY AND PURCHASING A PROPERTY IN MELBOURNE. AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE WE’RE STILL LITERALLY PAYING THE PRICE FOR TODAY. WE TOOK OWNERSHIP OF OUR APARTMENT 20TH SEPTEMBER 23, ACCUMULATING DEBT RIGHT FROM THE GET GO. THE NEW LEVIES AND REGULATIONS THE VICTORIAN GOVERNMENT IMPOSED ONLY CAME INTO AFFECT ON THE 1ST JANUARY 2025. THIS WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF THE MAJORITY OF OUR DEBT AT THIS TIME, IN OUR OPINION, POOR ADVICE AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY WAS. WISH WE HAD NEVER BEEN INTRODUCED.

Thank you for your feedback. It's really appreciated as we're always looking for ways to improve our services and research for our clients. Sadly, there was no specific crystal ball that could have predicted that Premier Dan Andrews would change land tax (announced in 2023/2024 budget), the short-term rental legislation (following his resignation in September 2023), despite it previously being tested to the Supreme Court level, tenancy laws and more, that had a quick and devastating affect on the Victorian Economy. These changes, and their effect on the economy and property investors, have been widely documented. Who could have anticipated that a single Premier, in one single year, could so swiftly alter Calla Property's unbroken record where growing robust portfolios for clients has always been clear and relatively predictable, because of the extensive research conducted, and always resulted in wealth creation and retirement security? It's such a shame that we weren't introduced just a little later, once these unpredictable and unprecedented changes had already taken place. While I understand that the state has to find ways to fund its very long 262 pandemic lockdown, it's a shame that the current Premier isn't trying to improve prospects for Victorian investors. With average prices now lagging so far behind the other major capital cities, you would think that the government would be looking for investment opportunities, not more reasons to penalise property owners. The good news is that 2025 looks like the pivotal point for property investors with exceptional expected growth on the horizon.
