We attended the Baby Brunch session to learn more about introducing solids to our baby. As a first time mum, this is something I am a little apprehensive about and there isn’t much out there in the way of support. Although the venue was a little too small for the amount of families present, the course and its content were fabulous!
The course was a nice mix of thought provoking games/ activities which prompted discussion, being taught about the scientific research and the reasons for different stages, foods and textures. There was also lots of opportunities for Q and A, along with some practical guidance such as examples of a meal and some example cutlery, bibs and plates. I feel much more confident about introducing solids to baby and I am grateful for the access to the online learning and Siobhan’s support as we navigate this new journey 🥦🥕🍌🍓

I wanted to share my thoughts on the hypnobirthing workshop…
When I first heard about hypnobirthing I was sceptical and thought it would be hippy nonsense. I was very wrong! The whole approach is very interesting and I learnt so much. It definitely changed my thoughts and anxiety about going into labour and giving birth. I feel my birth experience was a very positive one and this was due to the knowledge I gained reading the KG book and attending the hypnobirthing 1-2-1 with Siobhan.
I would highly recommend everyone looked into this technique, even if it was just to take 1 piece of knowledge away. Knowledge is power and it helped me make the right choices for my birth.
Give it a chance, it is worth it, and Siobhan has a lot of expert professional knowledge and advice.

Attended the Baby Brunch Club as we wanted to have some guidance on starting solids. Found the session excellent, very interactive and interesting with lots of opportunity for discussion and useful information given. We were also able to try solids during the session, it was very reassuring to try this with a professional present. There was a range of eco friendly weaning products which we are now using. We left feeling much more informed and confident in our weaning journey :)

The baby brunch club gave us the insight and boost of confidence that we needed to start trying our baby with solids. Before the group we were only going to try purees, but now we feel happy to try baby led weaning. It was great to have Siobhan there to answer questions in person instead of turning to Google which always offers differing answers!

We absolutely loved the “Baby Brunch Club” workshop!
As first time parents it really helped build our confidence with starting our baby on solids.
We were even given the opportunity for him to try his first tastes of yoghurt and banana which he was super interested in! It was comforting to have Siobhan there whilst he tried the food and she had so much knowledge to share with us all.
Thank you so much again, we are now super excited to start this new journey! 🩷
