Iâm Motorhome owner made a visit to camper king North Shields to see their vans.When looking through windows sales man Paul come out told me to feel free to go in all vans get the feel for them no pressure or sales tactics he then went back inside left me alone .All different layouts amazing well built so I left went home started looking at my own design build and trade Motorhome in when I was ready went back still under no pressure met Paul and manager mark they said feel free take a seat go through all samples on wall still left me alone to do what I wanted ,spent time putting samples of kitchen interior samples flooring leather seating coloured diamond stitching when I was happy I asked for their service nothing was a bother really helpfull explaining how the full builds are done got me paint cards for outside van to me outside in light get better idea against white vans decided to go ahead with build gave them my budget they sorted me lovely 2024 plate transporter 13800 miles and went for monticarlo build LWB with toilet choose what I wanted outside on van painted two tone blue /White black gloss grill badges mirrors window deflectors side bars wind out awning ,I was kept informed from start to finish from Paul and mark and all the other staff I dealt with where very helpfull .I have now picked up my new van and wow amazing paint work build and extras once again Paul and mark met me make sure I was happy anything they could do then guy in body shop come out to do van hand over show me how things work explained everything clear and then asked me to use control panel make sure I understood went through inside and out on van also sent me video to watch of handover.Very well pleased with service all staff said come back anytime get in touch if I needed help this is the type of service you need on purchasing vw campers I could not fault in any way on this purchase and rest assured after service is their for me peice of mind from camperking purchase all the best to all camperking staff in north sheilds and Oxford main factory where build was done thanks

T6.1 Monte Carlo
We recently bought a T6.1 Monte Carlo from Camper King in Banbury and had a genuinely positive experience from start to finish. The team were friendly, welcoming, and never pushy, which made the whole process smooth and enjoyable.
A special mention goes to Richard, who helped guide us towards the camper that suited both what we wanted and what we could realistically afford. The attention to detail in the conversion work is excellent â itâs the little touches that really make the difference, and Camper King delivered on that front.

This is more a personal/individual thing. The only area that could be improved would be staff knowledge around the Renogy system. Itâs something I was able to figure out myself afterwards, but it wouldâve been helpful if the team had been more knowledge of the renology system and notice a user like myself who wants to use aspects such as the monitoring app to a greater extent thatn perhaps the average user. Not a major issue, but worth mentioning, to help improve what was Overall, a greate experience with the service we received.

The support and service from Camperking (Newcastle) continues to be amazing. When our leisure battery failed while we were away on holiday, they did everything they could to help us over the phone. Once we got back, the issue was thoroughly investigated before agreeing on a replacement, their honesty and care really stood out. So when we needed a new awning rail fitted, we had no hesitation in returning.
Communication throughout has been excellent, and the work was completed to a very high standard by Darren, who even spotted an issue with our petrol cap and kindly tried to resolve that for us too.
We are extremely happy with the service and support we've received. Everyone weâve dealt with has been lovely, helpful, and genuinely goes above and beyond. Highly recommended.

What a find it was to see CamperKing had a showroom in North Shields (Newcastle Branch)
I went there for some advice a few months ago and straight away all the staff, Mark, Matt and Darren couldn't do enough for me. There's no hard sell, just great friendly advice and a fantastic service all round. I've had a few upgrades to my T6.1 and more recently a new diesel heater fitted.
I wouldn't want to go anywhere else now.

Great customer service
Just completed our 2nd annual habitation check on our campervan at camper King Newcastle.
All the staff a really friendly and professional, and the work was completed at the time they advised in advance. They also gave me advice on how to prolong the life of the leisure battery and that my front tyres were ready for replacement.
The showroom is really great with loads of campers to view and there is a comfortable waiting area.

Excellent experience
We took a trip to see what Camper king had to offer after recommendation from friends and we weren't disappointed.
Richard greeted us and offered drinks and then left us to browse the fleet of campers, he never bothered us at all and left it to us to find him for more information.
We decided to let them find a van and convert it to our choice of interior.
We cannot fault the service and Richard kept us informed throughout the build. Dates and time schedules were spot on and when we had the handover of the camper it was left in the hands of the very professional and funny Ritchie.
We have just spent 7 nights in the yorkshire dales and loved it.

Camper van purchase
We purchased our camper King after a visit to the hq to view the selection of vans they have on offer, which is extensive. Danny was happy to show us around taking time to explain the various details and spec of the vans we came to view. We decided to go ahead and bought a van from them and Danny was amazing, a real quality sales service throughout, including the handover.
we needed a couple issue rectified with the van following the purchase and Danny always responded to our emails and assisted us getting these sorted so the after sales service we received from him was also of a very high standard.
Overall I would recommend the company, our van is beautiful.

High quality Camper King conversions
We chose Camper King because of the high standard of build quality and the thoughtful design of the conversion options. Having only just collected our new camper, weâre delighted with both the van and also how Camper King treated us from enquiry to handover.
We visited the Banbury HQ and were blown away with the choice and quality of vans on offer. From nearly new base vehicles, to ones with average mileage, all with brand new conversions, plus a few pre-owned options.

First class service from Camperking
From the first visit to Camperking, when we started the process, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We were told about all the campervans and the different conversions that could be done. We were not hassled or pushed into making any decisions. At no time did we feel pressured into making a decision. We dealt with Danny once we decided to move forward. We made a number of visits and changed our mind on a number of things, but it was never too much trouble for them to deal with!
Our campervan was completed much quicker than we thought it would, but Camperking fitted in with us for a suitable date to collect it.
On handover day, R - who we saw on our first visit - went through the whole van as to how everything worked. It was done in a very pleasant and fun way for us both.
Camperking have continued with the aftercare and know that they are at the end of the phone if needed.
We are thrilled with our Camperking conversion and can't wait to get away for a proper break in it. Looking forward to exploring the UK once we have both retired.

Alivia was our agent and she was the best very helpful and knowledgable on the camper, always there to help us from the minute we turned up to view the camper to the minute we drove away after buying it.
Another great member of the team was Richie who did the full handover showing us every detail of the camper van and how to use it.

From the minute we arrived at camper king we were treated very well with hot drinks and a friendly chat with Alivia and a look round the premises, we also had extras fitted to our van and these were done with no problems at all and all to our satisfaction

This was my first camper van and Jack and the crew were very helpful and supportive throughout. In particular Richard and Jack during the initial sale, Richy at handover and Josh during snagging, all were responsive and efficient, Josh fixed any issues I raised and worked with me on bits I needed explaining several times! They were all lovely with my elderly father and my black lab who tagged along for the ride. Coffee and biscuits (and dog treats) always offered. Lads, this Lithium leisure battery is a game changer too! Thanks all!
