Sehr gute Camper und reibungslose Abholung und Rückgabe…gerne wieder!

Canadream delivered their product and service as expected. For such a large operation, the pickup and drop off process was quick and easy.

Wir erhielten bei Canadream ein vorzügliches Auto, wurden sehr kenntnisreich mit dem Fahrzeug bekannt gemacht (soweit wir es nicht schon zuvor zuhause schon im Video kennengelrnt hatten)

What a way to travel. Arrive at the site and you’re basically setup. Wake up and simple to leave.
Our canadream experience was awesome.
- booking process was easy, but there is no way to pay online seems a bit out dated. So you have to call up.
-staff were friendly.

Would not recommend. Booked months in advance including pick up and drop off times. At last minute canadream changed everything including the vehicle type. Vehicle was supplied late, ruining our day one. Vehicle came with a saggy old worn out mattress and an added front overhang to make sure we couldn’t see any views as we drove BC & icefields parkway.
Also supplied the rv with a resident mouse to eat our hiking snacks.
Reception person at Vancouver was unnecessarily rude. Pick up at 1pm turned into drive out at 3….
We paid for ‘premium plus’ and received the ‘tenant scum’ treatment on pick up in Vancouver. Folks in Calgary at drop off were good as gold though.
Lots of fine print to trawl through so be careful you understand what you are paying for as the nomenclature is iffy at best.

The RV was great, relatively new and everything worked as you would expect.

Great new models and huge variety. Very fast service and uncomplicated pick-up and drop-off. Overall we had a great experience in Canada.

However, CanaDream charges you for EVERYTHING and I mean it. Even drive-on wedges are an extra that comes with a charge. We did not know as other RV renting firms always give these out for free so we had none. Very hard to level out the vehicle on some campground without them. Why are they not included, it makes no sense to me.
Also, kitchen kit (also comes at an extra cost) was one item per person so if you had a snack in between meals you always had dishes to do as well which is really inconvenient at times.

We had no slide-outs which was fine, but we also could not use the awning which they tell you online but, well... saw it after booking of course. In Jasper, where there is no shade at all whatsoever it is super uncomfortable without. We would have used it a few times actually so it was annoying having one but not being able to use it. They said it is because it often breaks but not using it at all is not the solution people!

Drop-off was only possible super early or with an extra fee that was through the roof. We had to leave from a campground 2 hours from Vancouver on the last day. Gates open at 7 so there was no chance of being thee at 9. Vancouver station said there was nothing they could do, customer service online was a little more helpful and gave us another hour to work with so we barely made it. However, we were pretty much the only people dropping off during that time frame so I don't really get why we could not drop-off the vehicle at a later time. It was quite the hassle to be honest and not a relaxed ending to our awesome vacation.

Great servicer from CanaDream RV. The check in was quick and efficient. The truck camper was in top condition. The return was also very efficient and within 20 minutes we left the site.
We picked ours up in Vancouver. I would love to see them implementing a shuttle service at least from and to the closest skytrain station.

Our vehicle was very clean, everything was functional and very well explained with the videos and documentation provided. Note that it comes quite empty and that items like dishes are an option that adds to the price and can add up quickly. We were flying in, so there are limitations to what you can bring, but I'm used to camping light, so we brought our own dishes and sleeping gear. Also note that you can leave your luggage at their facility so you're not stuck using space to store them while you travel, this was free. We didn't know, so we we organized to carry everything with us, but this is good to consider. The drop-off without having to worry about emptying the tanks is also a great option to consider to ensure you bring back your vehicle on time. It also comes with unlimited use to the generator which can be handy at times where plug-in isn't available. That made our return hassle free, it was really worth the peace of mind. Don't hesitate to call them to ask more questions, their customer service is extremely friendly and very helpful. If you are not used to camping before getting a CanaDream vehicle, do your homework and research, read blogs on other people's experience so you can come prepared, this will make the world of difference for your experience and you will ask much better informed questions to their staff and appreciate their service much better. They were all excellent and patient, we don't find this level of customer service in many places anymore so don't forget to show appreciation! Thank you everyone at CanaDream Vancouver, you were all part of our amazing vacation!

Very easy to book and very convenient.

The truck camper was gorgeous, very easy to drive and manage. We enjoyed it in general very much. The service CanaDream offered was very friendly and helpful. Everything went good.

We’ve just returned from the most incredible three week Canadian holiday, and Canadream played a huge part in making it so special. We hired a midi motorhome and drove almost 2,000km through the Canadian Rockies, starting in Vancouver and finishing in Calgary.

The RV was immaculate, comfortable and ideal for our family, and the whole process with Canadream was smooth and stress‑free. Their team were friendly, helpful and made everything simple from pick‑up to drop‑off. We're already counting down the months to our next adventure.

I didn’t appreciate booking my rv with a specific time slot to pickup and drop off - only to have those time slots changed at check in. It really created a rethink on my travel plans, a long first day and a need to sleep on the street the last day.

Van was good to drive but way too uneconomical $ 100 every 3-4 hours in gasoline was rediculous
Linen and cutlery etc should also be included not extra

We had a brilliant time with our CanaDream from start to finish. The booking process was smooth, and adding or removing certain aspects or items was very easy. The onboarding was easy through video, even for us as a first time RV using family. At the location we only spent about 30min to get our RV. As always make sure to take a video of the full RV and all it's details to avoid discussions when you return the vehicle. On the road we had 0 issues. Canadian roads (we were mostly on Vancouver Island) are wide, parking spaces are plenty, and camping grounds are very easy to navigate. Highly recommend you spend the extra few dollars on full hookup (energy and water). Returning the vehicle was also smooth and quick. Highly recommended and would 100% do it again.

I would definitely recommend canadream to anybody who is considering renting a vehicle in Canada. The booking process was easy, any queries that I had they responded to by email within 24 hours. The vehicle was great. There were a couple of tiny issues, there was no clicker to ignite the hob on the gas, we were missing one sheet from the linen pack, also we had a couple of problems with the furnace and the air-conditioning. That said, we had an incredible trip and the process was all very easy with Canadream. For information, we are a family five and we have three teenagers. We hired the biggest vehicle they offer – 33 feet! It was a bit of a shock at first driving it, but it was perfect for our needs.

We rented 2 SVC nearly brand new in July for several weeks. Disregarding the technical perfect conditon of the units we have 3 major issues that leads to a poor rating.
1. The cutlery was exact for 2 people. We asked for some more spoons, knives and forks but this was refused by the staff immediately. During the last 20 years of experiance with renting RVs in Canada, US and Europe we never had such a poor support.
2. During the pick up process the staff refused to share the condition report with us. So we had no chance to understand the already reported damages. We received the damage report a day later by mail. Why such a secret.
3. The units had a different floor plan compared to the examples on the web site. This is in general ok and we had this several times in all the years before. However - this floor plan was a desaster from our point of view. Example: The drawer for the cuttlery that we use several times a day was on floor level. The sink for the washroom was located in the sleeping area.Nogos from our point of view as user.

Disregarding the friendly staff and the professional and fast way during drop off our overall conclusion is not positive.
Maybe this will help to improve and catch up with the competition.
