The customer service is amazing! Quick at answering the phone too. I just spoke to a very lovely girl who could not have been more helpful. Despite me having to return my dog food as it didn’t suit my puppy (I’m sure not the foods fault!) she helped me with lots of sensible advice and had the nicest manner. It was very refreshing to speak to someone genuine and who seemed to care but wasn’t pushy!

A Fantastic food for cats and dogs and its for all life stages too, high protein for fuller stomachs and a satisfied happy floofs.

Pearl is a Shitzu Poodle, very adored and very fussy! I tried all sorts of brands and it was actually a dog trainer who recommended Canagans and we haven't looked back. I really like it that the one we get is free range chicken as well as being grain free etc.

I really appreciate the way they send two emails reminding me that the subscription is coming up. I really recommend.

I will no longer be purchasing dog kibble from Canagan.
Our 5 year old dog had been on this brand since 2021. It started off very well for her. & To this date she still loves her kibble and will eat it. However since early 2024 she has had health problems, which we put down to her being a scavenger and eating things from the road and suspected the developing an intolerance to chicken. This may still be the case. However the symptoms my dog experienced which coincide with when Canagan moved manufactures, resonate with lots of other negative experiences that I have just read on here.
Symptoms include: excessive water drinking, and needing the toilet for both pee & poo at odd hours. Gurgling stomach noises. Eating a lot of grass, blood in poo, vomiting bile, blood in vomit, terrible smelling farts.... These symptoms have not been sustained, as we've tried special diets in between and re-introduced canagan each time. But symptoms last for weeks & months with costly vet investigations.

I recently opened a new 12kg bag, costing around £90, which had caused the latest issue of the dog waking us to take her to the toilet at 12am-4am over the last few days and stomach gurgling again.

The change of manufacturer could just be a coincidence, but something has definitely changed with this food, sadly.

The pet food is good quality the only challenge is getting it to arrive at my home.
I order twice a month for over a year and always have an issue with the delivery. Even if I leave a note stating that if no one home please leave at the door, the delivery is not attempted most times and the package is left at a random neighbour. Mobility issues make me struggle to get to the neighbour and the fact that I don't even know which of the 20 neighbours in the road the package was left (yes, there was instances before where the package was left 10 houses away from mine..) unfortunately quality is great but I will need to change the brand to one with a more reliable delivery.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a packet of Caragan raw freeze dry chicken treats from a store, I gave him 1, JUST 1, and the next day, he is really very sick, actually being physically sick and he has awful diarrhoea, that went all over his fur it was that bad, he is 10 years old now and has never reacted this way to any other treats he has been given in the past. He smells completely rancid. After bathing him twice (he only went to the groomers last week) he still smells rancid, his breath also smells rancid. I have to call the vet first thing in the morning to inform them and I’m clearly going to keep a close eye on him all night tonight. I am so disgusted with this product which I have never used before now and never ever will do again.. Stay away from this company if you value the health of your dog. (and your own for that matter).

My Sprollie dog absolutely destroys his dinner now we have switched to Canagan soft food. He was bored with his usual meal so we changed it, always a challenge with digestion once they are used to something. No bad flavours in the entire range, he licks through the bowl to Australia no matter what flavour we choose. Makes dinner so easy and he's healthy on it mixed with his kibble. Fantastic food and worth the small premium - easily.

Very impressed. Excellent quality and order mostly comes next day delivery with no charge. Our dog enjoys the food and is in good digestive health.

My cat loves the food for sterilised and over weight cats, had it for 6 weeks, but no weight loss, she keeps putting on weight and now has arthritis.
Maybe it’s just not the right formula for her.

My cat was a rescue from Dubai and was extremely fussy with any cat food when she came to the UK (she only wanted human food). I think I tried every single cat food brand that exists and finally tried your brand Canagan. She absolutely loves your canned food and has put on a healthy amount of weight since. She is full of energy and even a comment from the vet that she has very good muscle mass all thanks to her high protein food. She never leaves her food and I can tell she enjoys it. I also love your quick next day delivery.

My picky chihuahua loves the small dog Turkey dental kibble. He has some of the dried food and also has some of their wet food each day. The vet says my dog is in great condition for a ten year old.
I’ve been buying it for him about 3 or 4 years and I’ve always had excellent customer service from Canagan and no issues with deliveries.

I don’t order on subscription with Canagan and I’m very happy I have that option. My kitty cats are free range organic cats which means they eat what they like, when they like it (within reason). They only eat high protein, no grain meals as nature intended and Canagan are one of not many companies out there offering a really good selection of wet meals for kitty cats and dogs as well.
Sometimes i miss the fast delivery slot and I have to wait 4 days for delivery but most of times I manage to get in there on time and my order is with me literally in 24hrs, amazing!
I have 1 very fussy girl who doesn’t touch just any old meal and sadly it’s because she loves her biscuits but thanks to Canagan she is having her favourite fish dish and her favourite fish soup to help her with FIC and fluid intake. Thank you Canagan, I will be buying again, and again, and again 😁

I am a very fussy little 6 months old Shih Tzu and I've been enjoying Canagan for a few months now. Recently my humans ordered me my favourite which is Duck, I was so excited for it to arrive only to be sent Shepherds pie! After some tantrums they sent off an email and Millie could not have given us any better service. Millie sorted the order out for us and my Duck arrived today! I LOVE it!

We have used Canagan for all our dog food and treats ever since finding them. Their food is of a really high standard and there's a great range which our dog loves and keeps her in great health. Plus the delivery is impeccable. Next day delivery and seamless. On our most recent order, there was a mix-up and Canagan have gone above and beyond to rectify the situation, with a tremendously kind, personal service. Would rate them 10 stars if possible.

I am currently in the market for a new dog food for my puppy and I have been recommended Canagan multiple times from multiple people. I had a look on their website and got in touch with their customer service team for some advice and they have been exceptional. I have dealt with Millie both on the phone and email and she has been fantastic. Definitely going to try this food out and hoping my puppy loves it!!

My Ragdoll kitten enjoys the dry and wet food and I trust the quality but the brand loses points with me for not doing larger tins of wet food. Very unsustainable for the times we live in. I have emailed Canagan to voice my thoughts and I do hope they will prioritise sustainability in the future given they're in a animal lead industry.

Initially my dog enjoyed the turkey and veg mix however as time went on she had a very upset tummy. We didn’t link it immediately as all was well at the start. It took us a long time and several vet visits to work out it is the food. It’s a shame as we thought we had found an alternative to Oscar foods who went out of business earlier in the year!

My dog is a very fussy eater but enjoys Canagan mixed into her wet food. I place my order online and it’s delivered 1-2 days later with free delivery. It’s not the cheapest dried food but I know it’s good quality, my very fussy dog will eat it and their service is great.

My dog use to be a really fussy eater until I started feeding him Canagan. He now has a mixture of Canagan petite wet and small breed kibble which he loves. I've even noticed that his coat is shinier and he seems to have more energy. Thank you Canagan.
