ARNAQUE FUYEZ !! 600€ pour une rayure dont nous ne sommes pas responsables! Véhicule utilisé le premier jour de l’aéroport à l’hôtel, garée sans encombre au parking de l’hôtel dans une petite ruelle peu passante. Nous prenons le véhicule le lendemain , et là stupéfaits ! Deux grosse rayures faites avec une clé sans aucun doute !!
Ils agissent en bande organisée
Ils savent où est votre hôtel, car vous devez le signaler a l’arrivée.
Ils sont prêts à tout pour vous voler !
Ils savent ce qu’ils font, ils nous mettent au pied du mur , aucun recours, ils le savent ! Ils se rient même de nous et insultent la France.
Écœurée de notre retour, écœurée de ses façons de faire , des VOLEURS !

A car was delivered without checks, which after 4 days became too hot without coolant, and although I had immediately stopped, the car suffered engine failure, leaving us on the road in the evening and having to pay for tow trucks, taxis, renting another car (obviously from another car rental company). I would like to point out that not knowing the area, I limited myself to only traveling along roads covered by GPS and navigator, since I also wanted to enjoy my well-deserved holidays in peace. Total lost a day and a half of vacation, meals in the hotel, complete with calls to the police and money not returned. If I could I would give zero stars! Legal action will obviously follow. I will also translate the text into other languages ​​so that other users can understand.

We Never Got any car because they wanted a credit card - we only use debit cards and have Never had any problems with this - so we lost a small amount 40 euros in total - but were actually reliefed to just walk away and use taxi instead. Avoid this compagni.

Unfortunately in this case the reviews ring true!!!! We had booked a car and when we went to pick it up alarm bells went off straight away! Car lot was full of older cars in relatively POOR condition. Two families in the queue ahead before us were forced to pay cash which I found very strange. Our turn came up and same thing!!! Then there were all the additional conditions placed upon the rental eg battery not covered, car must be vacumed and cleaned on return the list goes on and on.. We had booked via carjet where none of these conditions were stated upfront nor the fact we would be receiving a 10 yr old car with various damage all over it. In the end they also required an International drivers licence.. which to be honest we had left in our room by mistake but which I stated I could get, but probably for the best.. Yes we lost our deposit despite requesting carjet for a refund.
Staff were very non chalant and really did not seem phased at upsetting all who came to the counter. Would have been even worse if we did take the car and then various other issues as described in previous reviews occurred.

Avoid this company!

The company cancels your car within one hour from the arrival time, so if your plane is late or if for some reason you skip mentioning the flight number on the form, you will not find the car you reserved and will not get the reservation money back.

To say that the staff is rude would be a euphemism!
The man at the counter exhibits boredom and disgust when being asked legitimate questions and does not hesitate to swear at the customers if they dare to express dissatisfaction.

Everything went wrong with this company, we had a reservation and came on 00.45 at kreta and nobody was there!
We heard that more people had a reservation and didn’t get a car because of overbooked reservations!
Be warned and don’t book here because it will be a bad start of your holiday!!!!

Avoid this company, get your car from somewhere else if you can.
A company that asks for cash payment, when they can quite happily charge your card for the deposit doesn't sound great! Maybe the Greek tax department could take an interest here?
Car had been repainted, it was a very old Hyundai i20, just over 125k on the clock. Air conditioning didn't work.
I've worked in the Travel industry for 39 years and still do, I've rented cars for myself all over the world and also hired cars for my customers, again all over the globe and have never known a car hire company not have access to a hoover/vacuum!
When we returned the car, everything was fine apart from a small amount of sand in the drivers/passenger footwell, when I say small I mean a tiny amount! The car was spotless clean and I don't class sand as dirt. The lady said to take it to the garage (a 5 min drive down road) as they had a hoover. I drove it here and the man at the garage informed me the hoover wasn't working properly.
He tried to hoover what was there, but also commented that here wasn't that much sand and asked why did I need to get it cleaned as the car hire company will have a hoover.
I returned back and they still said they would charge me 150 euros, after a discussion, they reduced to 50 euros!
They threatened to charge my credit card if I didn't pay!
I have informed the booking agent we used, who I use all the time for myself and customers, to avoid this company.
A word to the owners, reading all the comments on the reviews, looking at all the other people you have ripped off, with this money, I'm sure you can buy a hoover! You also live on an island with beaches that people drive to when they are on holiday and sand will get into your cars.
And before you reply "read the contract" about returning the car clean, it was clean, sand isn't dirty.

Fraudsters from start to finish. Not accepting card payments, and trying to charge for imaginary damage. Broken down cars all the time. Avoid like the plague. Not worth the few euro saving. You WILL regret renting through them.

Esperienza identica a quella di molte altre recensioni. Noleggio a costo economico e consegna di un' auto piuttosto vecchia e usurata. Consapevoli già da viaggi precedenti dei rischi di addebiti su danni già presenti, controlliamo le imperfezioni presenti e scriviamo il tutto a contratto (al buio, di notte, con luce fioca dei nostri cellulari). Il giorno della riconsegna in aeroporto ci viene contestato un graffio microscopico sul parabrezza di circa 2 millimetri, praticamente invisibile a occhio nudo, per il quale ci prospettano il cambio di tutto il parabrezza. Inizia una lunga, animata e infruttuosa discussione che si protrae per un 'ora con l unico risultato di ridurre notevolmente le richieste di addebito inizialmente di euro 900 per poi scendere notevolmente. Costretti ad andarcene per il volo imminente ci lasciamo tra insulti e minacce. Il consiglio sincero è di non prenotare da loro. È lampante la strategia di attirare clienti con costi competitivi per poi recuperare con addebiti onerosi quanto fantasiosi. 0 stelle per Carandgo.

CARANDGO. Pongo una estrella porque no puedo dejar en blanco , son unos ladrones, te cargan gastos que no existen, el coche daba asco sucio y oliendo a tabaco y te dicen que lo tienes que limpiar o te cobran 150 eur , te cobran daños en el coche que ya estaban desde luego no se os ocurra alquilar con ellos por muy barato que sea. Las dos elementas que te atienden al entregar el coche unas maleducadas

They are actually an active fraud scheme. They let you rent for a cheap amount of money through the internet, then, once you bring the car back in perfect conditions, they claim for damages already existing and unchecked cause located under the front bumper which no one in good faith have the chance to inspect before the rental start. Moreover the cars are 10+ years old and already full with scratches and dents, so almost impossible to take notes of all of them at the beginning. In my case they asked for 900 euros for a scratch not evident for a check that is performed in an upright position and not laying like a mechanic under the body of the car. They indeed claimed something underneath the right front bumper. I was appalled by such behaviour. I already reported to the Police Office located inside Heraklion Airport (2nd floor). They cannot steal money this way

-They say you can only pay in cash and then if you insist they accept card, which makes no sense in 2023.
-They scammed people trying to
disguise small scratches with ink that comes out when you wash the car and then charge you 200eur for that!! A small scratch you can barely see and was already there.
-The car is old and small, not in good conditions. Not the kind of car we reserved, but they say it’s the same group. Yea
-They make you go wash the car in the nearest place that charges you 20 eur for that!
-We called for the supervisor and the employee Monika refuses to call him and says we have to pay 900 eur if she calls him.
The worst experience ever, DO NOT TRUST them!

Truffatori riconosciuti!
Abbiamo avuto la sfortuna di noleggiare con questa compagnia attratti dal buon prezzo ma si è rilevata una vera truffa alla riconsegna dell'auto lavata e pulita ci veniva contestato un piccolo graffio sul paraurti anteriore di circa 1cm. Già presente e fatto notare all'addetta al momento della consegna la quale ometteva di segnarlo purtroppo tutto scritto in greco impossibile da rilevare .a frotte di quanto sopra ci addebitavano 250 euro ALLA LARGA DA QUESTA COMPAGNIA

Ita: Un vero disastro: siamo arrivati e ci hanno fatto aspettare 40 min sotto il sole con la mia compagna incinta senza nemmeno chiedere se volesse sedersi. Al nostro turno impiegate scontrose e maleducate hanno iniziato a dire che non andava bene perchè la carta di credito era intestata a lei e la prenotazione a me e la carta deve essere di chi guida. Le ho fatto notare che la prenotazione era a nome mio ma la macchina l'avrebbe guidata lei. per farla breve loro si sono categoricamente rifiutati di darci la macchina e il sito a cui ci siamo appoggiati ci ha preso i soldi dell'anticipo e chiuso la prenotazione.

I called twice Vipcar (with all the waits on the phone under the sun) and they just said that they couldn't change the name or do anything and to read the terms (i tried to explain that the terms said that the card must be of the drivers and my girlfriend was the driver, we just made the reservation with my name, but without success) and the only option was to cancel the reservation losing the fee. So i did, i went to an other company and there was no problem at all. All of this wit my girlfriend pregnant waiting under the sun and nobody even asking if she'd want some water or a seat. Just a terrible experience. I'll never use Vipcars again and never advice it to anyone.
