Booking arranged then Matt (Tech)…
Booking arranged then Matt (Tech) wanted to reschedule even though deposit paid. Basically had an attitude because he had to leave a message and it wasn't convenient for me to move the appointment. Wouldn't refund deposit.
Save your money. Go elsewhere.

On this rare occasion we unfortunately had to reschedule due to circumstances outside of our control, and we offered many alternative appointment dates and times.
The deposit was not refunded because it is non-refundable under the booking terms agreed at the time of payment.

Don’t use them
Don’t use them . Booked online for today 14.30pm got an email saying coming etc and appointment booked . Waited in and they’ve just emailed me saying not coming appointments cancelled. No phone call no explanation. Very unprofessional company and glad I didn’t let them touch my car . Will go with someone else now . It’s there loss because I have fleet vehicles I would have been interested in getting done .

Sorry you were disappointed.
As we’re a mobile service, our booking terms require a quick phone confirmation before we travel. On the day, the technician attempted to contact you multiple times by call and text but didn’t receive a response, so the appointment had to be cancelled. This is often due to an incorrect or unreachable phone number being provided at booking.
This situation is extremely rare for us, and we always aim to communicate clearly and attend as arranged. For a more accurate reflection of our service, we recommend viewing our customer reviews on Checkatrade, where we have a long-standing track record.

Complete letdown
I was advised my car had a build up of carbon so contacted UKCC via a Google search. I paid £380 for the full clean and it has made no difference to my vehicle. The EML has come back on and is still clogged with carbon. When I called to speak to them it was then explained it was more a preventative measure that should be done at regular intervals throughout the life of a vehicle as well as using premium fuel and oil and not guaranteed to work on a vehicle like mine! If this is the case their web enquiry form should ask if you’ve had it done before and if not the ‘preventative measure’ disclaimer made very clear. I feel I’ve been misled and miss-sold a service. Will be reporting to trading standards.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear you feel disappointed with the outcome.
To clarify, Engine Carbon Cleaning is designed to remove carbon deposits and improve performance, efficiency and drivability, but it is not a guaranteed repair for an engine management light or an underlying mechanical/electrical fault. This is explained in our service information and terms, and it is something we also aim to make clear before treatment.
We can confirm the service was carried out as booked, however in a small number of cases — particularly where a vehicle has an existing fault or heavy long-term buildup — carbon cleaning may not resolve the issue and further diagnosis is required.

I recently had the hydrogen carbon…
I recently had the hydrogen carbon clean done here, hoping it would resolve the issue with my engine light (P0401 - EGR flow insufficient). Unfortunately, after spending £180, the engine light came back on the very next day, and the clean didn’t seem to fix the issue.
I took my car to my local mechanic, who mentioned upon inspection of the EGR valve was "blocked full of carbon" and that the hydro clean hadn’t addressed the problem at all. After having it manually cleaned, the engine light hasn’t come back on.
While I appreciate the service which was carried out professionally, it didn’t seem to solve the issue in my case, and I ended up paying more to have it properly fixed. I would suggest considering other options if you're specifically dealing with clogged EGR issues, as this didn’t quite do the job for me.

DPF issues
This is the second time I have used UKCC and especially Redha, a few years ago with my Lexus, and today with my Mercedes, both with dpf issues, he is so very good at what he does, he will explain everything he is doing in detail, very thorough and gets the job done, I couldn’t recommend him enough.

First class service from Christian. Completely solved the DPF issue on two cars. Both now running perfectly. Christian not only carried out the work professionally but gave excellent advice on issues identified and provided top rate customer service.

My experience was very good from the initial evaluation online to the excellent service provided by the mechanic on site. He arrived when he said he would, he carried out the service quickly and offered some great advise. I would highly recommend them
