That's almost $20,000 in interest and fees on a $39k loan. How this is legal is beyond me.

Messy & Expensive
Two things... I was incredibily turned off by their reps in terms of pressure and wanting to get the funding closed faster. I get that they're sales people and I get that they're using scarcity tactics to try to close. But I just didn't feel comfortable with how much they're just trying to push for the close.
Second, the origination cost and the interest rate was incredibly high. As someone in the finance industry and a mortgage loan originator, 300bps closing fee plus a ~30% note rate on an unsecured financing? Holy moly... When I did the math, annualized interest rate could be higher than 30%.
I can see how they're paying for all the sponsorships and ads on podcasts with this kind of fees.
I was also concerned about them asking for my ID/DL over a text. Really? Not even a secured portal? I never really saw a bank-level grade tech infrastructure for servicing either.
LOTS of red flags went up seeing the numbers, how the reps are, and their tech stack.
I can tell they're going after businesses that are desperate and crunching for cash. If that's not you - you can find funding elsewhere that isn't going to cost you this high amount of fees and interest rate.

They are one of the top financial scammers in the market, dont ever go to them, they steal your data sell it to other and then you are bombarded with calls n msgs, not a real lender. Never wast your time sending docs to them. Never. My friend’s personal experience

False hopes and promises
I was brought in by a broker with Cardiff who promised a higher approval limit based on my banking and financial records and when I made it to the underwriting call is was reduced to less than 25% of what I was approved for. Then, the loan came from Byzfunder and not Cardiff (the broker told me they were a direct lender). I was manipulated into taking on a predatory loan and I’m not alone. I am greatly disappointed in how they operate and have already begun encouraging others to look elsewhere. Their actual rates are not what they advertise and only serve to draw people in. If you want better rates, there are shady loan sharks in Vegas who are happy to help.
I am unable to reply to any review comment here but have made multiple attempts to contact Cardiff by phone and email to discuss my experience. All of these attempts have gone unanswered which further substantiates my experience of “fund and run” predatory lending.

Cardiff is a direct lender. In some cases, and with a client's approval, we'll work with a trusted funding partner when a client's specific needs call for it.
On the funding amount, a number of factors come together during underwriting, and the final offer can look different from an initial estimate once everything is reviewed in full. As part of our process, the terms are presented in full so that everything is clear before moving forward.
