LITERALLY what virtually every other review says!! I signed up with them to apply for a single job I was interested in, and after their system said my zip code is "invalid", which is complete bs, and I thought it wouldn't allow me to even complete my account, I've received THREE bullish "offers" in a matter of a day and a half. AVOID AVOID AVOID, and they should be stripped of their ability to even offer their "services"!

I have had an account on Careerbuilder since the beginning of the website. I have recently started job searching and decided I would use Careerbuilder and another website to gain access to more employment opportunities.

There is an option to make your resume visible to employers. I DEEPLY regret doing so. I have been getting spam texts and phone calls from fake employers. I have contacted Careerbuilder and asked them to delete my entire account because they have a severe privacy issue on their website.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! They promise you the perfect job and all they want you to do is send them money. the checks they send to you are bogus checks, My bank would not cash it. I suspected the scam and took my copy of "my checK" to the bank and it was a fake bank account. I called this Sesame Care company and was told that no one by the name Carol Noland worked at this company. complete scam

I was contacted by orchid pharma via text that they received my resume via careerbuilderllc and they wanted to interview me for remote work 2 hours later was hired. They said they were gonna set me up with a mini office and software . They send me a check I deposit it 2 days later wells fargo is closing my account due t counterfeit check.

Three scams job offers in a row! Very cunning with ideal websites and JOTForm to grab all your personal information possible. The last female stated we do not accept Bitcoin! I knew beforehand before the imposter stated anything before bitcoin, I looked out for email endings, the spelling of words, sentence construction, and overall professionalism of the job offer. I am going to create a complaint to the FTC, and I urge others to do so as well! Perhaps the owners of this website would be more cautious as to who is allowed to use its application and website. Plus the website needs a secure entry as 2FA to secure their clients' information.

i have been getting all the scam job opening all the time for years. change email they get me . i try to remove/delete my info from their site cant do it. the info that is been provide never works. tried other ways noting seems working they have many sites with a chat line and they will tell you they are software developer that is is. they sell my personal info for 3rd party. no way to rich them , cant delete my info?

I have been on career builder for 1 day and have received phone calls from the same company at least 5x and received 10+ emails. I am deleting my account. I and reporting the company that keeps calling me if it doesn't stop. This website may or may not be a scam, but It is clearly not monitored properly. I would suggest sticking with Indeed.

SCAM! THEY LET FAKE BUSINESS PEOPLE SIGN UP USING THEIR ACCOUNTS. THESE PEOPLE TEXT YOU FOR A JOB BUT WANT YOU TO DOWNLOAD MESSAGING SOFTWARE TO YOUR PHONE. THE JOB THEY OFFER IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THEM TO GET INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!! DONT DO IT

Horrible my phone will not stop ringing with con artists. I can no longer access my resume to delete. I am looking for a job and this is a disaster

We were swindled by a very convincing sales rep to join them in our search for our next needed job opening. Once we signed on the dotted line - all support disappeared! I have called and emailed countless times with no word back from anyone. My job got ZERO qualified candidates - and every candidate they "recommended" was not even in the right field!! This is the biggest scam going! They need to be shut down!

This scam website, sells the data to offshore recruiters. Even after removing my profile I am inundated with scam phone calls and emails.

This used to be a trust worthy site. I am inundated with scammers all day long. I even called their corporate office. They don’t care at all. I’m taking down my info and tell everyone I can.

SCAM ALERT !!!! Stay far away. They will try to take your personal information and sell it to the black market and also take your money. Dont give them any information. I was receiving texts from unknown numbers and requesting to use telegram! Why? Because in telegram you can delete all the evidence and everything that was sent from you and them can be erased. I REPEAT SCAM!!!! Use indeed instead.

I removed my info from Career Builder. They are the only job board that I've had issues with scammers. I received a ton of calls from Pakistan or India posing as legitimate job placement agencies and speaking rapidly. After I wasted time with the first caller and realized they were trying to scam cash I figured out what was going on. Unfortunately that was the first call of many. I've reported this activity to the correct government agency.

I just signed up via the google button and added my resume for a job a family member sent me, but I didn't finish my profile because the job I was sent didn't look good. Well, now when I go on the CareerBuilder site to delete my resume it says I have NO resumes and when I try and delete my account it says that the password is not correct! Also, when trying to unsubscribe it will not save and resubs to everything again. I'm getting text's and emails from "companies" yet the site says I have no info and resume on my account. What a complete scam this site is.

I like many of the features in Careerbuilder, but the recommendations they send based on my resume don't make sense most of the time as they are for positions which have no relevance to my prior work history.

starting to get random text to download suspicious websites. also a lot of unwanted emails to jobs I didnt post for. I had my settings set up where no random person could get my information.

If I could give no stars, I would. After signing up on this site, my phone has been bombarded with people from India calling me about "job opportunities". You go to "Apply on company site" and it redirects you to paid surveys. Run for the hills....this site is B.S.

Me llego una vez una oferta de empleo en donde querían entrevistarme. La entrevista fue por Telegram. Cosa más extraña. Luego de muchas preguntas y consulta a su superior, me da la bienvenida a la empresa. De inmediato, me pide info de mi cuenta bancaria, y yo pedí que me hagan llegar el contrato para firmarlo y aun lo espero. Borraron el chat de Telegram. Al rato recibo dos ofertas de empleo más, ofreciendo más dinero. Eso esta muy sospechoso!!

As of today, I will not be using CareerBuilder. It is full of scammers. The most recent change I made to my resume for the CareerBuilder was at the top a *Note*.
Don't text me and I don't do messaging interviews. I continue to get texts. On the last from someone who said they were with Johnson and Johnson. I told her to email me.

Just like other scammers, I get an email with all of the different positions available. Despite the fact, I'm looking for a sales position. The email return address wasn't J&J but a Gmail account.

The Positions available are: Data Entry, Clerical Admin, Administrative Assistant, Medical Billing/Coding, Customer Service, Accounting, Payroll Clerk, Typist Clerk,Management. Which Position do you prefer?

I also saw where CareerBuilder attempted to become a publicly-traded company in 1999. But Wall Street saw through its attempt to fool the public.
